The Space:
Need a break from all the madness? Find peace and serenity at the Lunasea, brought to you by Best of the West. This delightful 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo at Pointe West will take your state of mind to calmness and tranquility as you enjoy the unobstructed views of the gulf and the relaxing sound of waves from your private balcony.

Lunasea is perfect for your family with a king-size bed in the primary bedroom with ensuite bathroom, a king-size bed in the second bedroom, and a pull-out sofa bed in the living room. Best of the West will make sure you are comfortable in this fully furnished condo, with flat-screen TVs, WIFI & cable, fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, bath and pool towels, and all beds dressed for your party.

When you stay in a Best of the West home, all you need to bring is your clothes, sunscreen, food, and you! Best of the West provides basic consumables needed for your entire stay; paper towels, toilet paper, large & small trash bags, dish soap, dishwashing detergent, laundry detergent, hand soap, coffee, creamer, sweetener, coffee filters, first aid kit, and to make things easier, a luggage cart to help you pack and unpack from your car.

Guest Access:
You will be provided the door code, wifi code, and all other check-in information 2 days before check-in.

The Neighborhood:
Pointe West is an exclusive resort community on the western tip of Galveston Island. The beaches are clean and groomed regularly and they are by far the best on the island. The main clubhouse has a beautiful infinity-edge pool, hot tub, kid’s pool, cabanas, grills, gift shop, workout facility with lockers, and a game room.

***AMENITIES FEE: Please note that you will need to obtain a wristband and access code from the Pointe West Beach Club to take full advantage of the community facilities (pools, gym, clubhouse game room, Basketball, and Pickleball courts). They charge $25 per guest 4 years old and older and are good for the entire length of your stay. This fee will be paid directly to the Beach Club upon registration.

(You will receive an email from the Pointe West POA to prepay the resort fee. The primary guest on your reservation will need to show an ID at the Beach Club Office to pick up the wristbands and parking passes.) *** Fees increased to $25/per person in 2023. The fee is not mandatory. If you do not plan to use the pools and other amenities during your stay, you do not have to purchase the wristbands, but you will need to get parking passes from the Beach Club. You can get free wristbands for use of the restaurant and bar.

The Pointe West Beach Club is a separate entity from Best of the West Galveston. Best of the West Galveston cannot guarantee the availability of any of the Beach Club’s amenities. Check the Pointe West Beach Club’s website for details.***

Getting Around:
You are only approximately 30 minutes from downtown Galveston, Schlitterbahn, Moody Gardens, the new Pleasure Pier, and all the other great attractions of Galveston.

Other Things to Note:
**Elevators, WIFI, and cable can be unreliable on West Galveston Island. We apologize, but Best of the West can not guarantee these amenities will be working during your stay at Pointe West and we are unable to offer refunds for disruption of these services.**

The Perfect View

Lovely Place

This condo is beautiful! Spotless and very well maintained. We had to extend our stay a few days and the manager was very accommodating and made sure our needs were met. It is about a 25-minute drive to downtown and there aren't really any restaurants or grocery stores nearby so plan accordingly. Would definitely stay here again.

Convenient Location w/ Great Views

We enjoyed our stay at this clean, convenient & well stocked condo. Everything was just as described. It was a plus to be directly by the beach walkover & that beach towels were provided for our use. We enjoyed being at the far west end of the property, as it was quieter & less crowded on the beach. We had a small miscommunication regarding the availability of specific items, but James was quick and courteous to contact me & resolve the issue to the best of his ability. It was much appreciated. We’ve dined at the Pointe restaurant on multiple stays at Pointe West and have never had a bad dish. I highly recommend it if you want to avoid leaving the property or need a break from cooking in the condo.

Great location

The condo is located right by the pedestrian bridge to the beach. Host provided a wagon which was really helpful to haul everything. Condo is clean and check in/out was really easy. The host was very responsive & accommodating to let us check in early. Would def stay here again.

This is a great property. Perfect location and many amenities.

My family stayed here Memorial Day weekend. Enjoyed our morning coffee on the balcony. Beach in walking distance and we’ll maintained. We had a great weekend and this Condo was a great place to enjoy and celebrate.

Nice condo right on the beach!

Condo was clean and well equipped with everything we needed like paper products, soap, laundry and dish soaps, beach towels, and a wagon. This condo is right on the beach and just a short walk. Great stay! My only complaint is I like to sleep a little cooler than 72 degrees so nights were a little warmer than I like.

Nice getaway!

The condo is right on the beach which is great. We brought our own beach chairs, umbrella and cooler and walked to the beach. It was great fun! The condo also has an infinity pool and lazy river pool as part of our stay, once we paid an extra $15.00 per person. We really enjoyed going to all three water locations in the two days we were there. The condo was fine just one of the older units. The elevator did not work the entire time we were there. If you need an elevator I would not chance it by staying at this condo as you have to walk up two flights of stairs to get to the condo. We had ants but the manager, James, took care of it asap. The ice maker did not work either. We turned it on, since it was off, and realized from the water all over the floor it wasn't working properly. James offered to come unfreeze it but we didn't want to bother with it. Overall, we had a great time, enjoyed the two pools and loved that the beach was right there. Just didn't realize this condo was an older unit and would prefer to stay in a newer one next time. We felt the price per night was high for this older unit.
