Great place at a great price, and you CANNOT beat the awesome sunsets at On Golden Pond #5!

5BR 4BA. Right on the lagoon. Community dock, beach, pool. Carefree days for up to 14, and a great deal too!

On Golden Pond #5, aka OGP5! A wonderful house is located directly on the waterfront of Little Lagoon with easy access to the private community dock, beach, and pool.

Your family or friends will love it here. There is a bedroom on the main level with a queen bed and sofa sleeper. There is an additional sleeper sofa in the living room. Upstairs, there are four additional bedrooms, one of which is a master bedroom with a king bed and its own whirlpool tub and separate shower.

In addition to the awesome lagoon front features, like the community dock and small beach, access to the Gulf is via the 12th street public access which is a short direct walk up 12th (right next to our Seafoam home!).

No smoking please, but feel free to eat lots of shrimp, bask in the warm sun, and have a great time!

House was big and comfortable views were exceptional. Very clean. Everything as described. Rick was awesome to work with. Only negative was the furniture was dated that being said I can tell they are slowly updating. Thank you Rick you made my stay so easy! Perfect vacation !!

We had a great time at On Golden Pond ! Beautiful property, with great views of the Sunset from multiple decks . Our group loved being on the Bay because several of our crew like to fish . There is a walkway just steps from the house where you can fish all you want . The walk to the beach was not an issue, my wife and I are 65 and it was not a big deal for us to walk. The house itself is absolutely gorgeous and had more than enough room for our group. Plenty of supplies in the kitchen for cooking and our grandkids absolutely loved the Bunkbed room. I would definitely book this house again !!! The owner was a pleasure to work with !!

Perfect and peaceful home away from home

We traveled to Gulf Shores for a softball tournament/vacation. We had multiple families and the max guests and this house was perfect! The location is amazing! The lagoon is beautiful and peaceful and very refreshing to for the soul! Our guys fished and fished and fished some more! The beach is a very short walk and you are there in minutes! This place is away from all of the hustle and bustle so it’s nice and quiet but a very close drive to all the stuff! The kids loved the pool! The kitchen is stocked with all the dishes you need. The owners even came by with a bag of amazing chocolates! The management company was super easy to deal with! A few things could be fixed/adjusted in the house but it is a home that is lived in by so many families so that doesn’t take away from me giving this 5 stars!! If I ever go back to Gulf Shores with a large group again, I would definitely stay in this home!!!

On Golden Pond 5 repeat vacation

We had a really nice time. Water was closed most of the stay but beach was nice. Seemed to be fewer people and reminded me when it was less commercial. Our family have visited gulf shores/orange beach for the past decade or so and we have stayed at OGP5 twice now, and OGP3 once, we love the location and have already booked for Father's Day next year. It's hard to find a place big enough for the family , economically and safe so we thank you for sharing your home with us.

We will definitely be back!!!

We had 5 kids and 5 adults staying. Plenty of room for all of us with the ability to spread out. We were able to walk to the beach and only few minutes drive to restaurants when we weren't cooking at home. It was really quiet and the balconies looking over the lagoon was amazing!! We also noticed a water leak but I called and they had someone out there within a couple of hours.

One of my best vacations to date!

I booked this house specifically for the fishing dock. My 74 year old mother loves to fish and she was able to fish all day and night if she wanted to! Easy walk to the community dock from the house! I enjoyed the easy walk to the beach as well. My party of 14 had plenty of space and had a wonderful time! Thanks for allowing me to rent your beautiful home!

Such a wonderful home...

Such wonderful home and located just a quick walk from the beach. The house had everything as advertised.....two coffee pots: regular coffee pot and a Keurig, a TV in every bedroom, a newer washer and dryer, lots of space for everyone, great views from multiple balconies and plenty of parking. The rental company is extremely thorough in their communication before, during, and after your stay with all the details of the stay, check in and check out directions, suggestions of restaurants and things to do, etc. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others!

Everything was great!

Everything was great! The house is lovely and we have really been enjoying the beach. There was a problem with the heat when we arrived but the management company resolved it quickly.

Why they chose this property

My wife's family have traveled to Gulf Shores and Orange Beach Alabama for decades. I became a tag along in the late 1990s, so a Gulf Shores guy by marriage. One thing led to another and we ended up a lot of large, family-friendly, large group friendly, places along the Gulf. On Golden Pond #5 is a very nice family-friendly lagoon front home with, for much of the year, the BEST sunsets from the back porches overlooking Little Lagoon. Nice. Comfy. Lots to do with the dock and pool. If you canoe, kayak, or paddleboard, you can drop in right here as well! And a great value too!
