UPDATED Beachfront Condo, Phoenix VII, #1415--BEATUTIFUL VIEWS

NEW Floors, furniture, cabinetry, appliances, fully remodeled bathrooms, master bed, decor, new electric blinds and paint. Located on the 14th floor of this 15 floor building, this 1064 square foot condo has some of the best views of the sparkling white beaches and blue Gulf waters from its balcony.

Comfortable mattresses and bedding. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything one might need from a morning cup of coffee from the Keurig to baking cupcakes and blending that perfect frozen summer cocktail. Pack lightly and utilize the full size washer/dryer in the unit for convenience. A 65" flat screen TV in the living room as well as 55" flat screens in the guest bedrooms. Free WIFI is available in the unit and throughout the building.

The master is equipped with a King size bed and adjoining full bath. Guest bedroom has two Queen size beds and a second adjoining full size bath. Living room has a queen sleeper sofa and 2 chairs for seating. Dining area has seating for six and 2 additional bar stools are available for seating at the kitchen counter.

The gulf front balcony can be accessed directly from sliding doors from either the master bedroom or living room and has seating for four.

Guests are required by building management to purchase a parking pass for each vehicle upon arrival ($55). 2 Vehicle limit.

Condo had everything we needed. Direct access to the beach. Indoor pool was rarely busy with 3 hot tubs. It has a great view of the beach from the back and the views from the walkway out front are equally fantastic

Perfect Rental
We loved our time at Orange Beach!! The unit was gorgeous and fit our family perfectly and looks as great in person as the pics. The complex is really large but we only had to wait for an elevator on 2 occasions. We spent most of the daylight hours out at the beach but did swim some in the afternoons. Outdoor pool is still a bit cold early in April but the kids jumped right in anyway. 😀 Hope we can come back sometime soon!

Great Condo
The condo was great and Lori was very quick to respond to answer questions I had. The photos are accurate; everything was nice. The only issue we had were with the second bedroom mattresses. They are in need to replacement as they sink in the middle.

We stay at Phoenix VII every summer! Location and complex are always great! The elevators do get busy on check in and out days! The condo was great. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was great, plenty of room for my family of 4. The view is amazing! The only thing I can say is that the condo just needed a little tlc as far as the shades for the balcony doors and the shower doors! We would definitely stay again in this condo!

Fine But Needs a Few Things
The condo was fine and very clean the only comment I would give is the couch is so uncomfortable we couldn’t even sit on it. The other is the chairs for the kitchen table all metal were horrible. We had to use their pillow to sit on. They are the actual metal chairs from any ice cream shop. I suggest you replace we couldn’t invite people over they were so uncomfortable.

We had a nice stay in orange beach. The resort is very nice and easy access to the beach and pool. The room was nice but needed a few things fixed in the room. I know it is a new unit for the owners and they are still working on fixing it up so I am sure that will come with time.

Absolutely perfect!
Let me first say that the most important thing I look for in a vacation spot is cleanliness. I’ve found myself cleaning after the cleaning crew in many units thru the years. Not this time! They knocked it out of the park. It was spotless from one end to the other. It didn’t just smell clean, it was clean. It set the standard for the rest of our trip. Perfect! We will definitely be back. Thank you for sharing your slice of heaven with us.

I debated on posting a review as I didn’t want to be “that person.” But I thought if someone else had the issues we did, I would surely want to know about it. The check in directions we were sent stated that check in was at 3:00 pm. We picked up $400 worth of groceries and arrived at the condo at 3:45. I opened the condo door to be greeted by a 12 year old telling me that they had just arrived at the condo to clean but they would be done in 15 minutes. I myself have a cleaning company with my mom and know for a fact that a 2 bedroom condo cannot be cleaned thoroughly in 15 minutes but thought maybe I have been doing something wrong for years. We waited outside the condo for them to finish and finally walked into a condo that looked like people had just checked out. There were crumbs all over the counter, sand on the floor, hairs hanging from the shower and toilet. Dishwasher was full, microwave was dirty, no paper towels, red stains on towels and comforters, along with lots of other issues I have pictures of. Needless to say, we had over half of our groceries hot and thawed and 3 whiny kids as me and my mom spent the first few hours of our vacation cleaning this condo before my 3 small children entered, as one of them is crawling. I did speak with the owner, and she did apologize and refund my cleaning fee, which I’m not entirely sure that’s enough for me to rent the condo again being that I spent my personal money and time cleaning a condo before we began our vacation, on top of purchasing more groceries that were hot as they sat out too long. I do understand that her cleaning company was at fault, but as the paperwork says, the check in time was at 3:00 which means the condo should have been clean by 3:00. Overall, after the condo was cleaned properly, it was a nice location and we enjoyed the beach and the pool.

Terrible Experience
This unit is decorated nicely, but from the moment we arrived there were problems. When we opened the front door we saw the folding doors in front of the washer/dryer were broken and the unit was not clean. The shower door in the master bedroom was about to fall off and the living room furniture and beds are breaking down. The next day the air conditioner stopped working/froze over. We contacted the owner and she said she would call an air repair but we needed to turn it off and let it thaw. Eventually it thawed out and we were able to turn it back on. The unit was cooling some but not working properly. The next morning the owner texted and said it would be the following day before someone could come out and look at it. We had not slept at all since arriving and due to the air problem we decided to leave one night early. I texted this information to the owner and did ask for a refund of our last night. She has not responded to my communication in any way. I did not expect to receive a refund but I do feel the lack of communication/apology was unprofessional. I would not recommend this unit.

Short Family Vacation
The condo looked very nice online in the photos. It was deceiving! As soon as I pulled into the parking lot, I knew I would be disappointed. The lobby to the complex is old and outdated. When we walked into our condo, it smelled like it had been smoked in. It was not clean to my standards. The air conditioning didn’t work well. The ceilings looked awful! This is my first and last time to Orange Beach!

Great place and vacation!
Really enjoyed our stay and our host was very responsive to answering my questions and concerns. I was aware of the couple of items that were being worked on due to the hurricane last year. Our unit was clean and the view was fantastic. My only real complaint other than having to leave was the master shower and toilet. The shower is very small due to having 2 seats that take up much of the usable room in the shower. The toilet was also a low one, unlike the one in the other bathroom. Other than that, I found the whole process with Lori very easy to manage and am thinking about a return stay in the future.

Unexpected circumstances
First - location was perfect and unit was stocked well Unfortunately our entry was less than perfect. We found out a few hours before we arrived that work was being done in the unit that was not complete. The mess that was left behind was unacceptable and the ceilings were left unpainted. Also, the living furniture needed at the very least a good cleaning and/or replaced as some of the chairs were beginning to shred. The manager did respond as best she could but it did not change the circumstances.

Our first Baldwin County property, on West Beach Blvd in Gulf Shores, was purchased in 2004. We have watched the explosion down in the Orange Beach area and wanted to be able to offer a property down there. Phoenix VII, Unit #1415 is an awesome corner unit with the best views!!
