SUMMARY
Enjoy nearly 40' of ocean frontage & direct beach access from the comfort from your own home in this beautiful ocean front single family house located in the laid back beach town of Encinitas. Features include 2br's+2ba's, 2 separate outdoor areas with expansive ocean front 180 degree view patio, multiple outdoor seating areas, fire pit, BBQ, A/C, driveway parking for 2 cars, & sleeps 5 (4 adults max). *NOTE beach stairs are shared with neighbor to left (as you face the front).

INTERIOR
As you pull up the driveway & enter the front door you'll be greeted by a line of floor to ceiling windows looking out to beautiful ocean & sunset views. The main living area includes an oversized sofa & accent chair, cozy gas fireplace, tv, & adjacent patio doors for easy access to our expansive ocean front patio. Off the main living area is dining for 6 & fully stocked kitchen, also with ocean views & easy front patio access.

Off the main living area are 2br's. Go to sleep to beautiful sunsets in the master br, which is situated on the ocean front with patio doors allowing for endless views in a Cal King bed & ensuite bath (tub/shower combo). Br2 has 2 Full size beds with an ensuite bath (tub/shower combo).

EXTERIOR
Enjoy a glass of wine to beautiful ocean & sunset views from your very own ocean front patio, complete with nearly 40' of ocean frontage, bbq, & multiple seating areas including patio table seating + lounge chairs + gas fire pit with additional seating. Feel like a vip with stairs that lead you directly to a sandy surf/swim friendly beach! *NOTE beach stairs are shared with neighbor to left (as you face the front).

Our 2nd exterior area includes a charming patio located near the front entry. This private area is surrounding by lush landscaping, includes bench seating, & is an ideal place to enjoy a cup of coffee & enjoying the sunrise.

LOCATION
Our home is located in a beautiful family friendly beach community of Encinitas. Our guests are provided a comprehensive local guide to nearby local dining, fun activities, & featured attractions!

Few miles to Encinitas Ranch golf course, and easy freeway access about 5 minutes away. Take a 15-20 minute trip down south to the famous Del Mar Race Track or beautiful Torrey Pines State Reserve and Golf Course, or for the same amount of time head north for a fun family day at LEGOLAND California. Other top attractions within about a 30 minute drive include Sea World San Diego, San Diego Zoo, and the Gaslamp District in Downtown San Diego.

POLICIES & GOOD NEIGHBOR GUIDELINES
• GUEST REQUIREMENTS | Per certain regulations & HOA requirements, guests must be at least 30 years of age to book with us. If your group is all adults, then all guests must meet our minimum age of 30.
• OCCUPANCY | Our maximum occupancy refers to the number of people allowed in the home at any given time (ie includes both guests & visitors), some of which may be mandated by certain regulations. Exceptions towards the maximum number of people allowed may be made for children under the age of 2. Guest(s) agrees that more than the number of people stated on the reservation shall not occupy the premises. The number of guests includes visitors, even if they are not staying overnight.
• NOISE | Our homes are intended for relaxing getaways, not rowdy beach parties. Music and other noise is to be kept at an appropriate level and in a manner that is mindful to neighbors. Noise that can be heard 50 feet away from the home is prohibited. Parties are not allowed. If there is excessive noise or music, any illegal activity, or evidence of violation of these policies, you may be asked to vacate the premise without any refund and additional charges may be assessed.
• COMBINATION LISTINGS | Due to occupancy restrictions, larger groups looking to book multiple units must reserve a approved combination listing. No more than 1 combination listing can be reserved per stay.

the house was beautiful. A little smaller than we thought but still beautiful. We enjoyed the view and easy access to the beach. A few things: not enough towels and no extra blankets. There were cobwebs everywhere inside and out. The floors were dirty - almost like they weren’t cleaned before we got there.

Cozy and comfortable on the ocean

Our family enjoyed our stay, the house is cozy, comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for an ocean front winter vacation in San Diego. The checkin and checkout was easy, communication with Surf Style Vacation Homes management was a breeze. A five star stay nicely earned!

The view is great; otherwise, just okay

Pros: If the main thing you want from your stay is a great view, this property definitely has that. It ended up raining most of our stay, so we didn’t get to take advantage of the deck area as much as we would have liked, but the view was still great. Hearing the waves was relaxing. Comfortable mattress & bedding in master bedroom. Communication from management was good and timely. Self-check-in/out was smooth. Cons: Older property that needs updating & maintenance. Older furnishings (some in bad shape). Walls & doors need repainting. Inside seating very limited and not very comfortable. Cannot sit up on one side of the master bedroom bed without leaning against a window blind. Most kitchen drawers looked like junk drawers - everything thrown in & a number of items appeared either dirty or rusty. Cabinets & drawers are push to open type, but the majority were difficult to open. No basic kitchen supplies like ziplock bags, Saran Wrap, foil or Tupperware-type containers. The dishwasher is a two drawer-style, nice for small loads but you end up doing at least 2x the loads. Not enough pods to cover a minimum 2 loads/day were supplied. For the price point, I would expect a better maintained and stocked property. Other items to know: The TV set up is awkward. Window blinds only - no draperies to keep light out. Be prepared for natural light very early (we were awake before 6 am each day due to the light). We may have missed it in the property description but be aware the beach access gate is shared. You may have people walking across the deck at random times, able to see into your property. The driveway is very steep, so scraping your car is an issue. It will also be a very tight fit for 2 cars unless they are both smaller in size.

Amazing views and sunsets!

We really enjoyed our time here and plan to come back. The views over the ocean are spectacular as are the sunsets. The outside space is what makes this rental special. The beach house needs some updating but was very clean with comfortable beds. Surf Style rental company responded quickly when contacted. I asked them to pass on to the owners that a couple of outdoor side tables for putting drinks and snacks on would be a welcome addition to the deck area . I would definitely recommend this rental.

GREAT SIZE, GREAT VIEWS

Pluses: huge ocean front patio with bbq and fire pit, plenty of parking, spacious and comfy interior, well stocked, direct beach access. Recommendations: tv in master bedroom & maybe update dishwasher & oven. But deserving 5 stars, we appreciate the great accommodations!

Beautiful View, Responsive Staff, but Property Needs Updates

This property has an amazing view and direct access to the beach. The staff is very responsive. However, for the price, I feel the property needs a lot of updates. The garage was so full of stuff that we could not park our car in it. The furniture is kind of a mish-mash of items. The television is placed, very strangely in a corner on the floor of the main room (why not mount above fireplace?). There was not an abundance of glassware/plates. In hot weather, the bedrooms are not cooled well by the AC. Ceiling fans could go a long way in helping these rooms stay cooler. The outside furniture is pretty old and not very clean. The interior of the home was not as clean as it could have been. Again, view and beach access is amazing, good rental agency staff, but some investment is needed in the property to justify this price point. Some of that was underway (new dishwasher and fridge), but need to keep at it.

Friendly staff, Amazing Place

We'll rent from Surf Style again, their team was very helpful in making for a smooth stay. The house was bright, spacious, had everything we needed, and the views are a MUST SEE. The highlight was the outdoor deck, a huge space easily fits 6 people comfortably.

Right on the Ocean

Awesome vacay stay right on the water. House is perfect for my wife & 2 kids, single level, huge patio, and stairs to the ocean. Only one issue during our stay that Surf Style notified us prior (the new fridge looks great!). We'd rent again.

Excellent location with stunning views, appliances etc a little dated but clean and cozy inside Unfortunately, the photos of the patio with the lovely table, chaise lounges and fire pit seating with blue padding are quite deceiving as every cushion was covered with bird poop and/or other deep nasty stains and embedded sand. These are easy to replace and not useable in this condition. As the ocean view patio is the star of this property, this issue must be addressed as the quality of the property is much lower in this state. On another note, when the refrigerator stopped working - we received quick service from the handyman.

Beautiful Beach Home

The property's gorgeous ocean view is the highlight but otherwise disappointing stay. The house is really old and in dire need for total renovation. Noisy fridge. The neighbors on the left have access right to the property's backyard for the beach stairs. so privacy is not guaranteed. The beach stairs /deck is really old and long. you need to be really careful going up and down to avoid stepping on a wood nail that is coming out. the beach down the cliff is covered with tide most of the time so not worth the effort to go up and down. location is ok, lots of road construction around.

Great location and direct beach access!

Our family of 5 enjoyed a terrific stay at this small house overlooking the beach in Encinitas. We appreciated the wetsuits and boogie boards in the garage and used them regularly. The stairs from the back patio were perfect for us and we loved eating meals on the patio overlooking the ocean. The kitchen could use updating (cabinets and appliances) but it was acceptable for a beach house.

Beautiful view!

My husband and I stayed for 2 weeks and had friends visit a few days. The location is amazing… relaxing Encinitas beach with open floor plan and great back porch! The house is cozy and just as pictured. We spent a lot of time on the deck, walking down to the beach for strolls during low tide, and just relaxing. The kitchen had everything we needed, as well as the rest of the house. The town is nice and eclectic with good restaurants. We hiked a lot in the San Diego area and my husband golfed. I did some yoga in town. A wonderful place to stay and we hope to go back! Would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful family getaway

Beautiful patio overlooking the ocean with steps down to ocean. Very comfortable home with everything we could need. Lovely quiet neighborhood, lots of shops and eateries within walking distance.

Beach cottage, waves, views and neighborhood

This cute cottage on the bluff is the classic beach vibe. We loved the views, sunsets, surf watch, sleeping to the sound of waves, comforts of the home and walking to coffee, food and beach. It must have been unusual high tide the week we were there as the beach below the house was non-existent.
