This house was very close to the Blue Ridge Parkway. The house had a nice game room with air hockey, and pac man. Also it had board games and a hot tub in the back yard.
We were just there for a busy weekend, but I enjoyed it. Would stay here again.

Disliked: Cleanliness, communication, location
Not a good experience
Entering the house, we found a dead mouse in the sink and mouse poop in both tubs. The host response was they would have an exterminator out after we left. No further communication or offer of assistance from the host. The ice maker was broken and the home appeared to have been cleaned weeks earlier. No instructions on how to operate the hot tub so we were unable to use.
Hot tub was nice, the outdoor heater worked after fixing the propane tank, the kitchen needs a few more essentials like cookie sheets and pot holders, it would have been nice to have better curtains in the living room and on the kitchen french doors, beds were comfy and layout of the house was great for multiple couples. We enjoyed the wild turkeys visiting in the mornings.
This was such a great experience. The house was a very cute ranch style—thank goodness!! Everything was soooo clean!!! Very well appointed with all items that you will need. It reminded me of my grandma’s house. Nice and neat and kept up very well. The hot tub was great. The laundry machine was great. Check in and out was seamless! I will be coming back.
This was a great place for my sister and I to stay for our girls trip to Asheville. It was close to shopping and the mountains for some hiking. We enjoyed the hot tub for an evening. The house was cozy and supplied everything we needed for a comfy stay!
Super private and peaceful. We saw a black bear driving to the house. It was very cool. Only about a mile to the Blue Ridge Parkway which was an absolutely beautiful drive. Very easy to get to attractions around Asheville. Luckily it was cool enough for us to be able to use the hot tub which was great. I personally loved the PacMan machine.
This is such a convenient location to sights in and around Asheville. We especially enjoyed being only a short drive away from bike/hike/run trails in the Pisgah Forest. Spent the evenings in downtown Asheville. The remodel and update of the house is well-done and we enjoyed the hot tub. Quiet area and no problems with noise.
First of all, the location is great. The house is in the Bent Creek area (we're hikers, so we loved being near the experimental forest, Lake Powhatan, the Arboretum and the Blue Ridge Parkway), right off highway 191, but with a secluded rural feel.
Check-in was easy. The keypad at the front door worked great with the instructions Jason gave us. The house was nice, especially the kitchen (we cooked for two of our three nights), and we loved sitting out on the deck to eat dinner. The third night we got take-out from Pad Thai - it is nearby and we loved the ginger and pineapple entree!
We enjoyed the hot tub. It worked well and is quite private. Be aware, because it's a 6-person tub, the cover is very heavy for two people to maneuver. But maneuver it we did, and the tub worked great.
Everything was clean and comfortable. The bed we chose was fine (there are three bedrooms; we chose the back bedroom which I think is the master bedroom), although we'd probably bring our own pillows the next time - that's pretty common for us. The windows were a bit light for our sleeping preferences at night, but again, that's personal to us.
We particularly appreciated the comfortable chairs and sofas in the living room. We've stayed at other places where the furniture was really uncomfortable.
We really had no complaints about the place, and Jason's communication was great.
We'd happily stay again. Great location, good hot tub, well-appointed house. What's not to like?
Great location! Hot tub, air hockey table, video games and board games provided all the entertainment we needed to enjoy ourselves and one another over Christmas. Excellent Thai restaurant just down the street, open on holidays. Would definitely come back to this property. Highly recommend.
