Peaceful beach in a boating and fishing Paradise. Short walk to beach!
Enjoy a rural beach town just off the Coastal Highway and surrounded by the St. Mark’s National Wildlife Preserve. Alligator Point is uncommercialized, only beach homes, cottages, and a tiki hut bar at the marina. The slow-paced, gulf coast lifestyle is guaranteed to help you relax!
The "Margarita Villa" is nestled along a canal allowing boaters and fishermen easy access to Alligator Harbor and the Gulf. The wrap around deck offers plenty of space to enjoy the peace and quiet of Fiesta Drive including a secure back deck gate to keep the little ones safe. Just 3 minute walk to the beach!
Inside our home, you’ll find two spacious bedrooms separated by the kitchen and living area which offer views of the canal. Each bedroom has a private, full bathroom and a sliding glass door to enjoy the deck. Kids will enjoy our set of bunk beds and everyone will appreciate the extra space each bedroom provides. Families will enjoy having their own privacy as the bedrooms are on opposite wings.
The open living area provides plenty of seating including a comfortable, sectional sofa and dining table large enough for 8 settings as well as 5 barstools along the countertop bar area and a kids table.
Enjoy morning coffee or grilling out on the deck while Spotting Blue Herons, Egrets, Bald Eagles and more!! If you spot one of Alligator Point's white squirrels, you'll surely have good luck.

We were looking for a few days of relaxation in the middle of a big trip and that’s exactly what we got! Quiet location, nice and close to the beach! Property was exactly as described, comfy beds, great kitchen, loved the golf buggy!
Quiet, short walk to the beach, wonderful wildlife and the property had a beautiful kitchen well equipped. The owner was very gracious. We have already reserved it for next year.
Our family had a very nice getaway! The house was clean, had great amenities and the golf cart was a fun bonus we had not expected! The location made this house perfect for fishing the canal or a short walk/golf cart ride around the corner to the beach. The host was quick to return communication and did all they could to ensure we enjoyed our vacation.
Our stay was awesome. Just what we needed. The house was very clean, and included all the essentials. The hosts are very accommodating, and quick to respond to any needs we had. The house is also a very short distance to the public beach access which was nice. We brought a kayak that was super easy to launch from the boat dock in the back yard as well. All in all we had a wonderful time and wouldn’t hesitate to book here again.
The house was wonderful!!! Deborah was the best host!! We could Not have asked for anything it was beyond our expectations, with everything we could need! Wakulla Springs is a must do while you’re in the area! We can not wait to go back again. Thank you for making our vacation wonderful! Great host, awesome location, can’t say enough!!!
The house was clean. The beach was just around the corner. We took time as a family to relax and play on the beach. There are tons are shells to collect. The boys enjoyed the crab trap and caught a few crabs. They also loved to lounge on the dock and a have karaoke evenings. It was a wonderful stay at alligator point.
This property was all of that and more! I am very pleased with my stay. Very clean and air condition got super cold. Thank you all for such wonderful experience. If I am ever in the area I would choose this property again..
Best Regards,
Shawn
This is a well equipped cottage near a beautiful beach and a dock that you can fish from.
We walked on Alligator Point Beach every day and rode our bikes around.
We visited Wakulla Springs, Carrabelle, St.. Marks Lighthouse, Bald Point State Park. Historic Appalachicola is a must see. Fresh fish and a small market to be found in Panacea.
We would definitely recommend for a quiet peaceful holiday
Everything you could need is provided. Home is well maintained and relaxing. Comfortable beds! Lots of small details to make your stay more comfortable, like fans at every bedside. Delightful and thoughtful owner. If you have never been to the forgotten Coast, you're missing out on the wildness and beauty of what Florida used to be. Great experience. Will be back for sure.
The house was large and well maintained. Cute beach theme. Fully equipped with all you need. Went to local fish mkt, cooked out one nite when rained. Easy walk to gulf. Quiet neighborhood. Crabbing on the canal. Days at beach. Great places in area to hang out.
The Margarita Villa was a little piece of heaven! So quiet and peaceful…a 3 minute walk to the beach. The house is very comfortable and the kitchen has everything you’ll need. Thank you for sharing your home with us.
We enjoyed walking the beach every morning and fishing from the dock. We loved the quiet neighborhood and I got to see my first wild bear down the road. We definitely would love to stay here again!
My mother and I had a wonderful time celebrating my daughter and son-in-law’s 40th birthday. Weather was uncooperative +7” of rain but that didn’t stop us from having a great time. The beach house was nicely decorated with open floor plan. Will definitely stay here again.
Staying at Alligator Point was a great experience. Very friendly neighborhood and an all around great house. A good place for a quiet and relaxing beach vacation.
Unfortunately not so easy to reach from Germany, but is definitely on "our must do again list" at the top.
This place felt like home away from home. The location was awesome. We loved that we could just walk to the beach or go out back to the dock to go fishing. Even though we didn’t have the golf cart because it was getting repair it all still worked out. Deborah was a great host she responded very quickly. We will definitely be staying here next year for our family vacation.
My children, my parents and I stayed for a long weekend - there was plenty of room for all of us! It was an easy walk to the beach even with two kids in tow. We cooked most meals at the house each day and had everything we could possibly need. Very well appointed, and felt more like a home than just a rental property. Highly recommend, already looking to see when we can stay again!
I’ll start with positives:
Very equipped kitchen
Lots of activities for kids as well as helpful equipment such as pack n plays, bed rails, etc.
easy beach access, super peaceful area
Negatives:
The house was NOT property cleaned. There was sand covering the entire rug, debris and dirt all over bath mats, a wad of hair in the shower, and trash, crumbs and toenail clips on the floor beneath the sofa.
The AC was unable to keep up with the heat the way it should and clearly needed serviced (we are in the HVAC business), there were gaps in the sliding doors allowing hot hair inside
Many of the blinds are were stuck or broken so we couldn’t properly close them for privacy.
Overall given all of the positive reviews we were extremely disappointed with this stay. We contacted the owner regarding the cleanliness and all that was said a thank you for letting her know.
