The cottage was simple and perfect for our needs. It was CLEAN which is so important to us. As a horse lover, getting to love on/spoil Pepper and Bill was icing on top!
Cottage is a quick level drive. Owner is friendly. Views are pretty, and you can stroll along the driveway and road bordering the pasture. It seems spacious inside, despite the small square footage. Very comfortable except for noise levels. The Interstate is just up the hill, and large passing trucks can cause a rumble. The wall-mounted AC or the dehumidifier can drown out most of the highway sounds, so our sleep was not disturbed.
Owners we very easy going and easy to contact. Pleased with the stay and location especially if you are looking to get a away for a little in a peaceful place.
The rental is so cute and homey! It was spotlessly clean!
Everything was available and the atmosphere is so nice! The interstate behind the property is not a huge deal, it exudes relaxation and everything was so easy!
Our stay was wonderful great loxation out in the country pet friendly. They had horses my children loves them so much!!! The owner was very nice and generous to let us check in early!!! We plan to go back for sure!!!
We had a great time here for 2 nights. My husband & I commented on how comfortable the king size mattress was! We want to buy that one. My 10 year old slept right on the couch. I liked how the couch had a cover on it. Having the washer/dryer was a big positive for us! I know you can hear the highway like other ppl have commented but it didn’t bother us.
This 1 bedroom cottage was located away from the bustle of traffic. Easy access to I-40 for getting around. Owners were quickly responsive. King Bed was comfortable; however pull out sofa not comfortable for an adult. It is well stocked with linens and towels, but kitchen could use more drinking glasses. Overall a satisfactory place for a getaway with your pet.
We have vacationed in Cosby/Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge for 20 years. We have stayed in cabins as well as hotels. We picked this cottage because it was affordable and in lovely Cosby. We love horses and pretty farm views, so that was a plus! We were in the smallest of the 2 rentals on property and unfortunately, the interstate sounds were so loud that we didn’t want to spend very much time at the cottage. We were so close to the interstate (directly behind/above cottage), that we could see headlights and hear tractor trailers. For us, it took away from the ambience and from our vacation. If you are looking for a quiet place, this is not it. However, the pretty farm views and the beautiful horses, the clean cottage, and the super-responsive owner still makes this a good rental.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
Disliked: Location
On the interstate
This place sit within 200 feet of I-40 so not real quiet here. Bed was excellent and the place was ok for our one night stay but wouldn’t want to be there any longer. Nice host.
This house was very pretty. I only have 2 negative things to say. The fold out bed was very very very uncomfortable. Our kids were suppose to sleep on it but they complained the bed hurt. So my husband and I gave the kids the bedroom and we slept on the fold out bed. The first night it was uncomfortable, the second night my husband could barely get up and out the bed. The third night we just slept on couch laying on each other. The second thing was really an issue just that the TV would lose connection a few times while watching a show. Other than that we liked the set up and the host was amazing. My kids was able to feed the horses, they are still talking about Pepper!.
Great place. We were traveling home from GA to
PA and this location was perfect. Cozy but ample room. Loved the horses. We made sure to pick up apples and carrots before we arrived!
Cabin was clean and as advertised. We brought our 2 dogs and 17 month old for a few days. After the first night of the AC not working, the owner spent Saturday replacing it. Really impressed with the responsiveness and taking care of our issue immediately. Would love to come and stay again. Our son also loved feeding the horses. There was plenty of room for his pack-n-play in the bedroom. Try out the bidet!
We had a nice stay. It was quiet. We loved feeding the horses their carrots. Only a half hour from Gatlinburg which was good because we hiked all weekend.
Beautiful place to stay, just what we wanted, away from the busy parts of a touristy area. Stayed with our three dogs and they enjoyed having lots of space as well.
beautiful scenery of the mountains and gorgeous horses on the property. Very quiet and peaceful.
We had a great time, check in was the easiest, and the house was just the perfect size. Finding any grocery store was pretty far out but their was an apple orchard market close by and a couple local restaurants. Not the furthest drive from the Smokey’s if you’re staying for that reason. We loved it.
The Cottage is just a wonderful place to stay. I enjoyed the land and location tremendously. Daniel was very responsive and the place was immaculate. Thanks!
Small, clean and cozy home that was perfect for our small family. About 40 min to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Bed was comfortable but you're extremely close to the interstate and can hear the tractor trailers so pack some earplugs if you're a light sleeper. They have two friendly horses that my kids loved feeding. They seemed to love the apples we fed them. Owners are attentive and readily available if needed. We'd gladly stay here again. Thanks for the memories.
We are a family of four (son is 11; daughter is 3). They allowed us to check in early which was greatly appreciated! We arrived on Thanksgiving day and the owners were very responsive even on a holiday. This trip we mostly just needed a place to sleep but next time we might rent out the larger house on the property and stay a bit longer.
The surroundings are beautiful and the cottage is right off the Highway so easy to find. When we walked into the cottage and saw the space heaters we were nervous we would be cold. However, our daughter who hates the cold was perfectly content. She actually wants a space heater for Christmas now haha!
If you have small children just note there is not a tub. It wasn’t an issue with us but something I didn’t think of beforehand. Our 3 year old daughter loves horses so this was definitely her dream come true. Our kids absolutely loved the two horses. They brought carrots and apples to feed them. Our daughter would wake up and immediately go outside to feed the horses. My husband said the horses are like dogs because they would come running to the fence to meet her.
There is an apple place down the road we were able to buy cider, more apples for the horses, etc. There was also a quilt place down the road which was great for Christmas shopping. We enjoyed Pigeon Forge, The Island and Dollywood while we were there.
Next time we would like to rent the larger house on the property and stay a bit longer. We missed the hay ride by the owners so we would love to do that next time too. Overall it was the perfect family getaway for us. Thank you for allowing us to spend time with your horses - we lost our dog of almost 16 years right before we left so the horses definitely lifted our spirits. Such sweet animals!
Great cottage for my husband and I and our small dog. The place was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Daniel was very quick to respond and an exceptional host! We had fun feeding apples and carrots to the horses and the view was beautiful!!
