Or, visit Paso Robles to see over 26,000 acres of vineyards, nearly 200 wineries, and more than 100 tasting rooms a short drive away.
The home is in the Beverly Glen neighborhood of Visalia. This is a very desirable, established, neighborhood with tree-lined streets and custom homes displaying styles ranging from Frank Loyd Wright to traditional brick 2 story homes. Yet, you will be less than 1 mile from downtown Visalia and the Convention Center and 1.1 miles from Kaweah Delta Hospital.
Not only is the Historical Downtown District full of unique shops and all sorts of restaurants, but Visalia boasts THREE 5 star elegant restaurants that are a destination for people from throughout Central California. There is usually sufficient free parking downtown if you choose not to walk. Throughout downtown, there is a free trolley service. You will need a car for day trips to Sequoia National Park, the Central Pacific Coast, and the wineries in the Paso Robles area.

This property has been featured on the Garden Tour by the Garden Club, twice! One year for the lushly planted backyard and outdoor living space. And another year for the unique use of hardscape and drought-tolerant plants to create the beautiful front yard landscape.
Step inside the huge outside door leading to the front patio and follow the path through the front patio past the boulders, dry creek bed, and desert-scape landscape design. There is a quaint covered porch, that leads to the front door of the house.
Step inside and you will see that this charming house was built about 1940, and has a lot of character to show for it! I purchased the home in 2009 and completed the renovation in 2012. The home is beautifully decorated in a contemporary-CA style. This is not just a basic suburban house in a basic suburban neighborhood. The thought, effort, and money that went into the decor is evident. You will feel like you are truly on vacation here!

There is barstool seating for 2 plus separate dining room seats 6 comfortably. Living room has seating for 8, a flat screen TV, and a fireplace-flame surrounded by glass beads at the touch of a button.
The thermostat may be adjusted down to 74 degrees in the summer and up to 70 in the winter. Please let me know if that is not comfortable for you and I will adjust it. The fireplace gas insert provides additional warmth if desired- just push the button!
The home has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths. The master bedroom has a king bed, the other two bedrooms have queen beds, and there is a futon in the large living room. The home easily sleeps 8 people. There are ceiling fans in all of the bedrooms and also the living room. All bedrooms have some of the most comfortable mattresses you will sleep on- see the reviews of this property! One bath has tub and shower, 2nd bath has shower only.
Laundry room in the house. Coffee, a variety of tea bags, and filtered water in the fridge door. We boast a great deal of kitchen staples such as spices, cooking oil, sandwich spreads and more.
You will notice the attention to detail in this property. There are spaces for working, eating, unpacking and relaxing. All of the beds have tempurpedic memory foam mattresses, soft, quality linens, extra pillows and blankets, toiletries and bathroom accessories, luggage stand. Updated kitchen with gas range.
Walk out the back door of the home to the lovely large patio with its complete outdoor kitchen, hot tub for 6, waterfall and koi pond and fire pit.
In the winter after your warm soak in the hot tub, enjoy relaxing by the fire pit with your family and friends. It will keep you comfortably warm even on cold winter nights.
In the summer, you will appreciate the shade on the back patio and the coolness of the water feature. You might even take a dip in the unheated very large hot tub to cool off.
Elegant landscape lighting adds ambiance to the front and the back landscaping and living spaces at night. The large driveway accommodates 5 vehicles and there is street parking in front of the home.

The Apartment
Private entrance with private patio and comfortable seating. Beautiful garden. There is a door in the apartment that opens onto the backyard of the house.
There are spaces for working, eating, unpacking and relaxing. In this large studio apartment you will find high-quality memory foam mattresses, soft, quality linens, extra pillows and blankets, and a massage chair! The studio apartment has toiletries, a hairdryer and magnifying make-up mirror. We provide luggage stands, and an iron and ironing board.
We also provide a new, very comfortable office chair in case you have to work during your stay and an eating table and chairs for 4.
The kitchenette includes an electric pot, microwave, coffee maker, fridge, sink, counter space, dishes and supplies. There is also a cutting board, seasonings, and a large free-standing George Foreman grill outside the door.
The beautiful decor is bright, warm and welcoming. Views of the unique backyard of main house with its boulders, waterfall, koi pond, and mature landscaping.
