The property was so peaceful. I loved the yhe little puppy that came to visit us in the mornings. A very relaxing vacation . Ivwould definitely rent this glamping tent again .
Everything you need for a great escape from city life. Luxury tent with all the amenities. Very comfortable. Great open space for recreation outdoors. Off the beaten path but a short drive to Beavers Bend. A unique experience that we will certainly do again.
We were wanting a much needed getaway and this place exceeded our expectations. The property is beautiful and our dogs loved running around and playing in the pond nearby. The tent itself was so cozy and quant, all the amenities needed to relax and enjoy the couple of days we were there; the beds were comfy and the décor tied it all together into the perfect little spot to vacation in. The owners were so accommodating and polite, it was an overall amazing experience; the only problem I had was that I didn't book more time there! We will definitely be back!
Secluded, about 15 minutes from town. Really enjoyed staying here, but just for future guests there are a lot of bugs in the tent! The owners dog, Sadie is very sweet and welcoming. If you’re outside she’s probably with you, very adorable. Also fyi there is no bathroom door so hopefully you’re close with whoever you’re staying with lol. Overall really enjoyed our stay here, will come again!

This place was a great getaway for my fiancé and I!
It’s definitely very corky, cuteeee and clean the owner does say that you may see bugs because it is a tent in the woods, but we never saw any.
There is not a TV in the tent but we appreciated this aspect because there was nothing to distract us from enjoying the outdoors and each other.
The best part was that yes, you can bring your furry friend if you have one :)
Definitely will be staying here again just to get some time away from the busyness of everyday life!
Excellent place for those looking for something unique
If you’re looking for a rural place away from any hustle and bustle where you can see a gorgeous sunset, amazing star-viewing and bird-watching….this glamping tent is your place. Clean and comfortable, furnished with what you need to enjoy your stay, plus communication with the owners is quick and available. You are about 15 minutes from Broken Bow where you can get anything you might have forgotten or extra groceries. A great place to sit on the porch or patio to enjoy lovely trees and fresh air. A great mix of comfort with camping.
My kids and I stayed in this lovely "glamping tent" in Oklahoma for a few nights during spring break. The tent has everything you'll need in a small space that was perfect for our family of 3. My son enjoyed fishing several times a day while my daughter played soccer, we built a campfire and made smores. They loved exploring the creek, climbing the trees, playing with sticks, simple outdoorsy kids fun. I appreciated being able to cook, shower, and sleep in a climate controlled room but also feel like we were camping. If it's a clear night, the stars are beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and hope to return again.
This is the most unique property I have ever seen! A tent with a claw foot bathtub? Running water? A/c and a queen sized bed? Yes! We absolutely loved sitting out on the porch and watching the sun go down each evening! It was so peaceful. One thing to know about this property is that it is a bit off the beaten path. You will have to drive down a gravel road to get to it and I probably wouldn’t want to try to find it in the dark. It’s also a ways out of town - not close to run back into town for dinner. If you stay here, I suggest gathering some groceries and just settling in for the night. The views and the peace and quiet were absolutely worth getting off the beaten path. It’s a lovely little tent! We would come back!
The cabin and scenery were beautiful. There were plenty of amenities and enough of the basics to be comfortable. The bed and pillows were also comfortable. The one thing that really took away from the stay were the neighbors' dogs. They were friendly and besides chewing on the rug we eventually pulled up, they didn't bother us hanging around. However, we woke up the first night around 1a to the dogs barking right outside and with the walls being a thicker tarp material, they might as well have been inside with us. We dealt with them barking for nearly an hour, running around our tent. We heard barking for most of the night, but it was largely in the distance and not anything that kept us awake. When I messaged the owner, I was told it hadn't happened before and it was the neighbors dogs. We had an issue with the dogs again the next night. Paying what we did to not get any rest and for there not to be any sort of resolution didn't set well with my fiancé and I. We also noticed the family across the way clapping to make the dogs go away because they were jumping on their younger child. While it was beautiful inside and out, we won't be back due to the dog issue.
This was such a beautiful Location and the Glamping is a must!
Close to fun shops & great restaurants! Meeting all of the dogs was so much fun!
Host was wonderful!!
First - we had a great experience! In no particular order, some of our observations are listed below.
The tent was clean. The bed is actually super comfortable. Tent is climate controlled which is amazing. It was 23 degrees outside for us and we stayed warm. Electric, plumbing, and Wi-Fi all work great. It’s a full 20 minutes from beavers bend if that’s something you’re interested in. There are 2 electric stove top burners and while they take a little bit to heat up, they do get the job done. There’s an extra big yeti cooler on-site available for you to use. Owners live on property and are easily accessible. Bring lawn chairs for the fire pit, there are tree stumps to sit on but depending on how long you want to hang out by the fire, you’ll probably want chairs. Great spot for dogs to stretch their legs and run! Lastly, the reality of this tent is that you’re on the owners land alongside another tiny home (which is rentable), an RV, and the owners home. All are visible from the tent. That said, it’s super clean and a fun experience.
A perfect little weekend getaway to the Heidishire was amazing. Very clean and beautiful glamping tent. Has just about everything you would need during your trip. Friendly hosts! We will definitely be coming back soon.
Cabin was a lot of fun and easy to find find with gps. Our host was available during our stay for anything that we needed. Cabin has a pond and lots of room for our dog to run around. Can’t wait to go back!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Heidi’s Shire. My husband, myself and two small kid’s stayed, and we all had a blast! The cabin was perfect, and my son thought it was the coolest. :) The pictures don’t do the location justice…it’s absolutely beautiful and SO peaceful. Some things we thoroughly enjoyed…
-the beautiful pond view from the front porch
-the fire pit (we made s’mores!)
-the cabin interior was decorated so beautifully
-the location to town (close enough for activities but far enough out to be “camping”)
-the pond-absolutely beautiful and we even did a little fishing
-the owners are super helpful and respond quickly
This may be a little nit picky, but wanted to include some things we didn’t enjoy to help future campers!
-there is only a French press for coffee. We’re big coffee drinkers and this seemed like a lot of work for our morning cup of joe. It adds to the camping vibe, but We’re spoiled with a Keurig at home (I would bring instant or your own way to make coffee)
-there are dogs on the property that bark ALOT at night. I believe it is from the coyotes around. We heard lots of coyotes at night too which kept us inside once it became dark. The dogs seemed to be very sweet though, and our son actually fell in love with one he nicknamed Rocky.
Overall, this was such a wonderful place where we made lots of sweet memories. I would definitely recommend for families or couples wanting a fun, peaceful getaway! We hope to be back!!
The tent was such a change of pace for us! It was comfortable, clean, beautifully decorated and cozy. Holly thought of every detail. The property was beautiful and very secluded. I wish we could have stayed longer!
We loved our escape from the busy daily life of our family with our visit to Heidi’s Shire! Talk about recharging in a breathtaking environment. Our hosts provided everything we could’ve needed and more. Telling everyone we know and we will be back soon!
We (myself & my wife) spent 3 days at this property this week and absolutely enjoyed our stay. The owners are extremely friendly and were very responsive. The place is very neatly kept and every aspect of this cabin is well thought through. They have put their hearts into decorating this place. Loved every aspect of this site and conveniently located from all tourist sites in the area. They also have very reliable and good WiFi which helped me to work from the place during the mornings. Will absolutely visit again in future.
