There’s no better location for a Hot Springs, AR getaway than this recently remodeled, 1900 sq ft, 3-bedroom, 2-bath home, sitting on 6 secluded acres, just a short drive away from top area attractions! The mountain views are breathtaking. It's not unusual to see deer from the kitchen or master bedroom windows. Enjoy the new fire pit area and outdoor seating.

Amazing Gem!!

This home is beautiful, in a great and quiet location. It’s still close to everything if you want to explore Hot Springs, but also feels quiet and secluded. The family who owns the home are so welcoming and have fantastic hospitality. Our whole family loved it. Thank you so much!!

Awesome view from a really nice house

My wife and I stayed for a few nights to get away and relax. The house was perfect for what we needed. It is close enough to town to be convenient, but far enough away that it is peaceful. The house is clean, spacious, and everything is comfortable. There are several places to just sit outside with nature and disconnect. Everything was provided for a fire outside, unfortunately the weather did not allow for it. The owners were super nice and provided bonus snacks. The view is absolutely awesome. We will definitely return for as long as they let us.

Amazing Views

The pics to not do it justice. Absolutely amazing views. I told the host it was my sons birthday and when we arrived there was fresh baked cookies and a sign that said Happy Birthday. He loved it.

Great House, Amazing Views

This is one of the nicest Vrbo properties we have stayed at. It’s exactly as pictured online. The beds were comfy, the kitchen was nicely stocked, the house was very clean, the property was amazing. Our family had the best time staying and Mindy and Jon’s house. And Mindy was so kind as to leave goodies for us and our dog. I highly recommend this property to anyone who might be considering it. Absolutely wonderful stay!

Beautiful location! Extremely clean and well-taken care of. You can tell that Jon and Mindy really care about their property and about creating a nice stay. Everything we could need was provided. We really appreciated all the special touches (treats for our pup, treats for us, soap being provided, firewood provided). Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Beautiful home inside and out!

This home was wonderful from the moment we walked in the door. Was extremely clean, inviting, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The shower was amazing. We used either the fire pit outside, or the fireplace inside every night:) The view from both the back and front were delightful. It was a great location, close enough to downtown, Crystal mining, the mid-American science museum (our kids LOVED this place), and the botanical garden (also a must), but out far enough where you can catch some fresh air and just hear the wind and birds chirping in the back yard… and that’s it. Little piece of paradise. The hosts are organized and very friendly. Thank y’all for a great stay!

Best Holiday Stay

This is our third stay at The Ott House. It never disappoints. The owners have thought of everything! The views of the mountain are spectacular. And, the hammock and fire pit are always a hit!

This was exactly what we were hoping for!! It’s was like we had the whole mountain top to ourselves and still just a short 10 min ride back to downtown for everything Hot Springs has to offer. Amazing to see what the house once looked like and now what it is today! All new up to date everything to make a perfect stay, will be coming back again next fall.

A little piece of heaven

This was our 5th trip to this beautiful and relaxing home. We invited my daughters family to enjoy this relaxing and peaceful place with us. Stunning cozy mountain retreat.

This incredibly high quality renovated home is impeccably appointed with all modern conveniences. It sits on a hilltop that affords beautiful views morning and afternoon. On wooded acreage you feel secluded but are only minutes from town and so many activities. Communication with our host and check in/out was seamless and so easy. This was a place that truly felt like home, or visiting a friend. One of my most pleasant and enjoyable rental experiences.

Perfect Fall Getaway

Our family of 6 adults and 2 dogs thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights at the Ott house. VRBO is our go to source for family getaways, and this was the best so far. Some words to describe the property: conveniently located, secluded, immaculate, spacious, welcoming, well equipped for cooking and entertainment, and beautifully furnished. We will return!

Beautiful House and View

This house was perfect for the six adults who stayed here for the 4-day weekend. Everyone had plenty of room and it was great hanging around the fire outside with an awesome view. The house was super clean and the owners went out of the way to stock it with essential and take lots of pride in making an excellent place to stay. And the snickerdoodle cookies were a warm welcome! The perfect getaway!

Our stay could not have been more perfect. My husband, 4/5 children and fur baby had the best time and did not want to leave. We even ended up staying an extra day because the kids begged to stay just one more day. It was the best reset and escape from our busy lives and allowed us to refocus and spend quality time with each other (which is difficulty with kids aged 6-13.) The house is beautiful, clean, and situated nicely in an exclusive area up in the mountains. It truly was exactly what we needed and more. We will definitely be back!

Softball Nationals

Our family loved this house, it had everything a family could want and more. Very peaceful and relaxing. The kids did not want to leave. My two 4year olds cried most of the drive home asking to go back to the blue house. I would highly recommend this house to anyone visiting the Hot Springs area. I hope we get to visit again. Ott House Review

I cannot say enough great things about this property and our experience! It has been beautifully renovated. We were greeted with delicious snickerdoodle cookies on arrival. My kids loved the tv room, and they loved the yard. They enjoyed both swings, did crafts on the picnic table, and road their bikes in the large driveway. We stayed on the 4th of July and got the added bonus of seeing fireworks all around for miles, thanks to the amazing view from being up on the hill. The front of the property has the beautiful views, and the back has a beautiful and serene large patio space. The beds were very comfortable. The stay was so relaxing. We can’t wait to go back in the fall/winter when the kids can explore even more outside! Would recommend for adult or family get away!

This property was perfect for 3 families. It definitely exceeded our expectations. It has everything we needed and so much more. Amazing view of mountains

We do lots of traveling and staying at houses, by far this is the best one! We've never had a house with the views that this one has. They keep their house exceptionally clean, which is a big plus and another is how organized their kitchen drawers and cabinets are! Most places, cooking utensils are just thrown in a drawer. We really appreciated the organization. It has a split bedroom design which is great for privacy. The big picture windows in living room gives a great view of the mountains, for as far as you can see. We used the grill, fire pit and swung on swings!! That was fun.... Another touch is all the snacks and especially the cookies Mindy left (yummy!!!). We are making this our yearly July 4th trip to Hot Springs off-road park!! Thank you for opening your house to us and for the great hospitality. See you next year.

We are Jon and Mindy Weatherford. Jon was born and raised here in Hot Springs, AR. Mindy moved here when she was 15. We were high school sweethearts.
