We had a wonderful time fishing and sight seeing. The cabin is peaceful and wonderfully designed. The owners are kind and keep the cabin in wonderful shape. This is a great place with all sorts of adventures near by.
This was our family's third year at the Fuhrman cabin, and we loved it as always. The house is nice and cool for hot days, there's plenty of room for the kids to play inside and out, the house has plenty of amenities, and it's near great river and creek spots.
My wife, friends and I stayed here for a few days elk hunting. Clean and were fantastic with communication. Only regret was we should’ve stayed longer. We will be back!
My family and I had the most amazing stay. The cabin was absolutely beautiful and had every amenity possible . My toddler had a blast running in the backyard and looking for a Sasquatch! The hosts were very responsive and couldn’t ask for better and communicative hosts! We will definitely be coming back. Was a wonderful and memorable family vacation.
This is an absolutely beautiful home! Very well set up for multiple families. Easy access to the great outdoors for fishing, rafting, hunting, snowmobiling or trail rides or sitting by the fire reading a book. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. The hosts are very helpful and gave us lots of information prior to our arrival. We completely enjoyed our stay.
We had a wonderful Christmas at a perfect location. The cabin was everything and more that we could ask for. Charolett was a great host, checked on us making sure we arrived safely and made sure we didn't need anything while we were there. The cabin was well stocked for basically anything you could need. We are already planning our next stay. We were blessed to have approximately 2 foot of snow while we were there. It snowed Christmas eve and Christmas day and just made everything magical.
We were looking for a home with plenty of space that offered easy access to fishing on the St. Joe, and this property was exactly what we needed. Nice modern kitchen, comfortable living space, and three bedrooms (on three floors) with larger beds (and a smaller 4th bedroom). The hosts were gracious and helpful, and the property was super clean. It's a decent drive up to the upper stretches of the river, but we also found good fishing nearby. No foot access to the river from the cabin (hard to tell from the photos), but it was quiet. Would love to visit again!
My family loves this cabin so much! This is our second year staying -- my parents, my family, and my brother's family. The house has plenty of space for everyone to relax and play. The kids love the open lawn space and the game room. Everyone loves the porch and the fire pit. The well-appointed kitchen makes cooking easy. It was nice and cool this year, but the A/C is a nice bonus for the days it gets hot.
The location can't be beat. It's quiet and scenic, and close to fishing and rec access on the Joe and Big Creek.
We also loved seeing wildlife -- an elk, two deer, bald eagles, a golden eagle, and dozens of hummingbirds right at the cabin!
Beautiful home in a remote setting. Be prepared to travel some gravel and dirt roads to get there. Room for our whole family to unwind and enjoy! Owners were very welcoming and responsive to all questions we had. Would recommend this property.
This is the perfect getaway into the beautiful Idaho wilderness. Immaculately clean with all the amenities for a comfortable vacation. Views of the St. Joe from the living room and peace and quiet outdoors make this place special. If you are looking for solitude and relaxation this place fits the bill.
Great cabin for 3 couples. Beautiful setting above the St. Joe River. Clean, well furnished cabin. We enjoyed the surroundings and the cabin was great for visiting. Elk, mountain goats, bald eagles and deer added to our trip. Mike and Charlotte were very helpful and easy to reach. We hope to return in the future.
The cabin is beautiful, the location is amazing. The cabin was clean and better stocked than any we have ever stayed at. Beds were very comfortable. The upstairs bedroom was very nice but did not have a place to hang up clothes. Comfortable seating. We had a great time with our friends.
Great place to stay! Easy access to lots of trails for full days of riding. Beautiful house and setting to return to at the end of the day. Peaceful and private.
We had a lovely time staying at this beautiful log cabin. The location has a wonderful view, especially out of the large front windows. The porch was lovely to sit on and drink coffee in the morning. It’s so quiet and peaceful. Lots of room for everyone and wonderfully air conditioned. Would love to come back!
Made fun memories at beautiful cabin along St. Joe River!
Beautiful cabin with lots of space for peace and tranquility! Very clean and we loved watching the hummingbirds! Having the 4 bedrooms and bathrooms for my sisters and nieces provided privacy along with family time playing games! Thank you!
