My husband, son and I had a great stay at this cabin in Gatlinburg. The hosts were very willing to assist in any way we may have needed, we just didn't have any issues so didn't need that assistance! House was in great shape and had plenty of room. Hosts let me know that the house was ready early so we could get in little earlier than we have expected which was nice.
Wonderful stay and super clean. Easy to get to all attractions. Even shared my coffee with a bear one morning. We will be back after extending this trip a couple days.
We absolutely loved this property! It was close to town, exceptionally clean, had everything we needed. Would highly recommended and would definitely stay if we return to the Gatlinburg area.
Check in was super easy and communication from beginning to end was great.
Well-equipped and cozy cabin with beautiful views!
The cabin was beautiful, convenient, and cozy- everything we hoped for and more! It was very clean and they even had a few household items stocked to get us through the first day before we could make it to a store. We loved the Chalet Village Market- very kind people and they have a full menu of items to order/ be delivered (pizza, awesome burgers, wings, etc). The owners thought of everything- extra blankets, smart TV with some streaming services available, abundant supply of board games (even corn hole- which my kids were ecstatic about!), etc. The cabin is very well-insulated, and we didn't have to turn the heater on even though the temps got down into the 30s at night. The hot tub was a dream and had beautiful views of the mountains. I loved the decor and all the quirky art on the walls! The owner gave very detailed instructions that answered any questions we had. I would just like to echo getting to the cabin in daylight for the first time... we didn't, and it was pretty scary driving up the mountain in pitch-black not knowing where we were going (don't worry it does get easier). Also, having directions printed out or looking at your map on your phone while you have good Wi-Fi is a must... we have AT&T and struggled with cell service the majority of the trip! Overall, a wonderful experience and we cannot wait to go back! Hopefully next time we will see some of the bears that were mentioned above... sadly, we only saw one on a hike from a far distance.
Cabin was even nicer than the pictures. The location made it easy to get to downtown Gatlinburg as well as National Park for hiking. Grandsons (4 and 6) loved the Hot tub, the Foosball, and the bunk beds. Kitchen was plenty big enough with plenty of room at table. High ceilings in living area made it seem more spacious. (As a fitness buff the pull-up bar on the deck was an added bonus.)
Our group consisted of 4 adults and 4 kids (6, 6, 4, and 1 year olds), and this property perfectly met our needs. The check in process went smoothly. It was super clean upon arrival, and the hot tub was excellent. We used the kitchen quite a bit, and everything we took out was clean.
We saw several black bears during our stay, a few of which we saw within our first hour! Be sure to follow the hosts’ instructions if you aren’t familiar with dealing with these animals. It was incredible watching them up close!
The hosts were super responsive when a couple random questions arose. The house had many nice touches that catered to a wide range of visitors. And if it’s important to know, the WiFi worked great, as I needed to log in for work briefly. Would highly recommend this property!
The cabin was beautiful and very clean. Had a blast in gatlinburg but the best part had to be the bear visit although it was scary at the time afterwoards made for a great story to tell our friends.
Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay in this cabin. It was exactly as listed and very clean. We saw bears everyday and enjoyed the location. It was close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. It is up the mountain, so you need to be prepared for traveling mountain roads.
Whispering Winds was an amazing cabin! It had everything we needed and is very clean, new, and a great place for peace and quiet. We loved having our coffee on the porch every morning and enjoyed the hot tub in the evening. Highly recommend!
We had a great day time on vacation. House had everything we need plus more.
Had 2 separate visits from the neighborhood cub but we just went inside and he left the trash bin once he couldn’t get in.
Drive up the first time during the day, the hike is tricky but worth the drive
This was a wonderful time for us all. Two adults, three teenagers and a toddler. The cabin was very clean and beautiful. Stocked with everything you need. We cooked daily meals and was a breeze. It was beautiful. Not far from all attractions. The hosts were attentive. The wildlife was great and saw black bears almost daily. Thank you so much and will return!
This cabin is in immaculate condition.. very clean and well-kept. More than enough space for our family of four. We would without a doubt stay here again if we were in the area and it was available.
Loved everything location, activities to do, the cabin very clean, very quite, peaceful. Our first time and we absolutely loved it. Definitely coming back.
Perfect location. Got to watch family of bears from inside of cabin twice during our stay. Very convenient to drive down to welcome center and ride trolly to Gatlinburg. Less than 20 mins from pigeon forge. Only a few minutes to the National park. Couldn’t ask for anything more from property. Wonderful stay!
