Discounted Luxury Condo at Waipouli Beach Resort

New to VRBO, I am the original owner of this beautiful unit and have rented my unit through Outrigger resorts for 14 years. Due to living on island now and the pandemic, I am hoping to supplement their reservations with a few of my own through VRBO... :) Be the first to stay and rate this gorgeous condo!

This unit is a 1st floor walk out pool side in Building E just next to F building, behind the gym. It is near where the winding river part of the pool starts for easy access to your own bathroom or kitchen for snacks while enjoying the pool. Google maps, it is across from Safeway, Kapaa.

There is no quarantine starting April 5th!

AND don't forget the LARGE 'soaking' tub in the Master Bath!! You wont even find these finishes at Hawaii's top resorts, where you'll pay twice the price!! Our condo is truly 'Top-of-the-Line'!!

Excellent Everything!

Suoer comfortable bed! Excellent roomy tub! Great shower. Excellent appliances! We have NOTHING bad to say about this property and experience! Heather rocks and we would definitely book with her again at this beautiful property!

Perfect Spot

Great location to see the island. Never more than an hour to any corner. The unit was exactly as advertised and just a few steps from the pool and ocean. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Second time at this property

We had a wonderful 9 days at this property. The pool is fabulous for the kids, our room was top notch, although the sofa bed could use a mattress update and the kitchen was missing a fee Items that would've been useful. All in all it was a wonderful place to stay with our family.

We LOVED our stay in paradise

Waipouli beach resort was a wonderful place to stay. The ground floor unit was perfect for us to have easy access to the beautiful pool area and beach. The pool with the 3 hot tubs and waterfalls was amazing. And James, the security guard, was an added bonus to our pool time. The room was very nice, but next time I think we would go for a two-bedroom unit. The pull-out bed was OK, but not the most comfortable for our 11 nite stay for our 18 and 20 yr. old kids. We LOVED the large fridge, oven, and dishwasher and enjoyed a few lunches on the patio. We would have loved a "welcome book" of some sort telling us about where to take the recycling, the fact that we can rent beach gear, suggestions for restaurants in the area etc. I am writing this as I look out the window at a yard full of snow----I miss Kauai!

Paradise

We had a wonderful stay in Kauai and enjoyed the beautiful property. Bed was comfy but I recommend you bring your own pillow. The pillows were hard as rocks. The kitchen was stocked with the basic cooking utensils and dishes. Bring your own spices, oils, foil, etc as nothing was provided, not even salt/pepper. There is washer/dryer in room but it’s bring your own detergent. Location is right across from Safeway and great restaurants. The pool and water slides were amazing and beautiful. Be sure to catch the koi feeding outside the lobby on Thursday and Saturday mornings at 8:30am.

The Perfect Vacation

We stayed in Heather's condo at the Waipouli Beach Resort for two weeks during spring break. The condo and the property was everything I dreamed of and more. It was the perfect space for our family of 4. About the Unit: The condo was spacious and comfortable. It felt like a home away from home. The kitchen was a great size and well stocked with pretty much everything one would need for cooking (although, I wish there was a baking sheet too!). The fridge was massive - great for our giant Costco food purchases and there was lots of comfortable seating. Our kids slept on the pull out couch and we slept in the bedroom. I loved that the unit was on the ground floor. It was easy access to the pool - kids just went out the sliding doors. But also appreciated that it was fairly private from the pathways. I rarely felt the need to close the blinds for privacy until night time. About the Property: The Waipouli Beach resort is spectacular. The pool facility with waterslides and lazy river made the trip for us. Our boys lived in the pool as we lounged poolside and supervised. I was so surprised that there was a beach towel service as well - great bonus! The staff on site were so friendly. This was our first trip (and certainly not our last) to Kauai. I'm trying to figure out away to return next year and will definitely be staying in the same unit again.

Kauai paradise

We had visited this property 14 years ago when family stayed here during our wedding. We were excited to come and get our chance to experience it. I loved that is was ground level to literally walk several feet to the pool area. The grounds are immaculate and beautifully gardened, the bed was so comfy and the pool was an oasis. Had coffee every morning on the lanai. Fell asleep to the sound of the pool waterfalls. Watched the sun go down on the sandy beach in front of the resort. Cute shops, delicious bakeries, etc all within reach. Thank you Heather for having this beautiful condo to share the magic of this island. Can't wait to come back!!!

Great Condo

Just stayed for a week at this condo with my family and it was great! Very close to the pool and nice that the kids can play in the grass. Also very close to the parking area which has plenty of parking. Condo was very clean and very well kept. Basic pots and pans in the condo as well as a full set of utenvils, plates and cups which was nice. Owner also provides dish soap and dishwasher soap and sponge which is nice. Walkable to the supermarket, shave ice, and starbucks making it very convenient! Very nice and fun pool for kids with two slides and a mini beach area at the pool. Also walkable to a nearby kids beach (fiji beach). We had an amazing time. Highly recommend!!!

Excellent Stay

This resort has everything. We could’ve spent a few days just on the property enjoying the awesome pool and beautiful beach. Every aspect of the property is clean and the access to the beach could not be better. I would definitely stay again.

Beautiful resort

We loved staying at Waipouli! The beach is lovely, and steps away. It was so nice to have a big kitchen and two bathrooms. The only disappointment was that the pool was freezing cold. We had to wear wetsuits to get in. We asked about it at the front desk, but nothing changed. Spent most of our time in the hot tub.

Fabulous and comfy beds; which is a HUGE plus when traveling. Pillows are super fluffy, so if that’s not your jam, make sure to pack your own. Location is quick and easy to the pool; gym and the beach access is a short walk. Unit is a central location on the island; commuting to activities is a breeze.

Everything we needed and wanted!

Our 1 bedroom condo was perfect for our family’s needs in Kauai. The pull out couch was perfectly sufficient for our 4 & 7 yr old and the king bed was great for us parents. The pool was amazing, grounds were gorgeous and the beach out front was great for swimming and a little snorkeling. Our kids loved chasing geckos and chatting with chickens and toads and we loved being on the ground floor so the “yard” could be an extension of our condo. Kapa’a was the perfect middle point between all the places we frequented. Having Safeway and Ross right across the street from our condo was super convenient. We will absolutely return!

Great value!

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo is conveniently located on the first floor with easy access to the awesome pool, nice restaurant, and beautiful beach. And the price was right for our small family. The condo was well appointed but the furnishings could use some updating including a more comfortable pull-out bed and larger living room TV (we are a movie family). There is also a limited amount of room for food (we had to clear out two drawers to store our pantry items). Likely due to COVID, we had to purchase salt and pepper and other spices, as well as storage bags. With all that said, it really was a nice stay and we would recommend.

Eastside Resort

Best resort on the Eastside of Kauai - grounds and pool are beautiful; condos are very nice; within walking distance of grocery store and many restaurants; a good place to relax. We communicated mainly with the owner of the condo who was very responsive with any questions or concerns. Check-in may have been a problem because of the Covid rules prior to April 5.

Great ground floor spot!

The unit is very clean and spacious. Located on the ground floor right next to the pools. Heather the owner is very helpful and generous!! We spent 5 weeks at her unit and enjoyed every minute!

Aloha! I am new to VRBO and now a "local resident" and have been a "landlord" for 20 years so I know how to meet the needs of those living in my property. I am ready to care for your every need! I am originally from NY and have lived in CA, LA, NJ, and now HI. I have also traveled to Asia, S. America, Europe, and Africa and have gotten to experience many different cultures and people and come to love them.

Why they chose this property

It is one of the newest resorts on Kauai, which is the best island to visit to see what Hawaii "used to be". It is perfectly located between the north and south shores for easy access to all the island has to offer and only 8 miles to the airport. Almost anything you need across the street, yet a resort feel in this pool side unit.

What makes this property unique

1st floor walk out to pool from E building (same as the lobby) and behind the gym so you can use your own restroom and kitchen while at the pool. There are BBQ gas grills by the pool so plan an evening of delicious grilling while the kids enjoy the waterslides and mom is sipping her daiquiri in the sand bottom jacuzzi.
