This was the perfect getaway for our family. Great house with bbq, ping pong and darts. Board games were a hit too. So close to downtown, even a trail nearby to avoid traffic. This spot is perfect for summer but also winter. We made it to Snowbowl in less than 30 for some hiking. Hope to stay here again!
PS its close to Fratelli’s Pizza, huge bonus!!
Good location close to the Snow Bowl. We enjoyed the ping pong table and the sled in the garage for kids to play in the snow. Wish the garage was attached to the house, but it was great to have garage parking for our minivan.
Our family enjoyed the quiet neighborhood which was close to a hiking trail and park.
The kitchen was stocked with everything you needed.
The back yard was great for the kids. Their is a swig set and slide, and room to play catch.
I would recommend this property to all families.
Property was great. The location was perfect for multiple day trips all over Northern Arizona. House was clean, and spacious. Plenty of room for my wife and I and our 4 children. Even had time to have ping pong tourneys every evening. Owners were very easy to deal with, great instructions and extra help with some requests with moving dates months before our stay. Woukd highly recommend this property.
This property was perfect. We had two families (4 adults and 4 kiddos) this trip. The house comfortably accommodated us. The kids had so much fun with the games, ping pong table, and a TV in their room.
We were there during a snow storm and the owners had a snow removal service.
The owners were very responsive and accommodated our requests when needed.
Thank you! We will be back! ❤️
This was our first visit to Arizona and this house was perfectly located. We were able to spend time at the Grand Canyon and Sedona, along with sites in Flagstaff. The house was stocked well for our family of 6 and met all our needs. This kids especially enjoyed the game room ping pong. We even enjoyed a walk through the neighborhood trails. We would definitely recommend this house!
We loved staying here in June for our summer vacation. The house was fully stocked with what we needed, including lots of kitchen tools. Each morning we would sit out front (shaded to the east) and enjoy coffee looking at the view, and in the afternoon, we enjoyed the backyard (shaded to the west). The best part was the house is extremely quiet- you hear the kids in their rooms from the living room or master- which was great. The location is far enough away from traffic and the commotion of the town, but close enough to bike or a 5 min drive to downtown. We will definitely be back! Thanks for the quick response of the owners at check-in!
Our family had a blast staying at this home! All the amenities were fully stocked for a comfortable stay, and the house was super clean. The adults, our teens, and our tween enjoyed the game room with the ping pong table. The city of Flagstaff has a lot to offer and served as a great gateway point to Sedona and the Grand Canyon.
Quiet neighborhood, great place, much larger than it looks in pictures. Could have EASILY slept8-10 people without being crowded! Lots of plates/pans/utensils. Would use again!
Our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our month long stay. I appreciated the well stocked kitchen. It had everything and more to prepare meals. The kids loved the ping pong table. Neighborhood is very safe, quiet and within walking distance to a park and trails. Can’t wait to return.
The house was clean. For a 48 hear old remodeled home. It was not very comfortable for us as a senior couple. Screens on the windows and sliding patio door would help with air circulation on warm days.
Despite seeing some very cool places such as a Natural Wonder of the World as well as Sunset Crater, our kiddo proclaimed the pool table in the game room as the best part of the trip. Comfortable home in a lovely neighborhood located very close to local trail heads.
We had a wonderful time staying at this property. It was a central location for everything we wanted to do. The home was beautiful and clean. On our "down day" they kids were entertained in with ping pong and darts.
Thank you for opening your home up for our use.
Enjoyed our stay, and the house was very comfortable and spacious for everyone. The nearby trails were great for getting outdoors! The only issue we had was not being able to access TV apps, which we were unable to resolve with the owner, although they were attentive. Overall, a very nice stay. Thanks, Jennifer and Jeff! We look forward to coming back someday.
No complaints whatsoever! Easy to find and location was perfect for our needs. Do have one suggestion though.... Due to being height challenged a stool would have made it easier to get in or out of bed in master bedroom. I managed so not a major deal.
Perfect location in a quiet and safe neighborhood.
Amazing property with all of the little things needed for a young family (kid spoons, cups, high chair, etc.) Jenn and Jeff have done an amazing job. Can’t wait to come back.
We enjoyed our stay in Flagstaff and the property met our needs and was just as advertised in a nice quiet neighborhood with a scenic mountain view. Our day trips to the Grand Canyon and Sedona were easy to work in from this location.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this wonderful house in Flagstaff. It had everything we needed... including ping pong table and darts. The kitchen had all we needed to eat a few of our meals in. We loved our trip to the Grand Canyon one day and, the next day a ski day at the Arizona Snow Bowl. We loved our burgers at Diablo and our wood fired pizza at the Beaver Street Brewery. Owners were great to work with. We hope to return to Flagstaff.
We traveled to the Flagstaff area from Chicago last week over spring break. We flew into Phoenix but felt that Flagstaff was a better "home base" option for all the exploring we wanted to do. The house was perfect. It is located in a nice area and was the perfect size. We had 4 adults, 2 teens and 2 kids. The bunk bed room was perfect for the kids and the master on the other side of the house was perfect for my in-laws. The location was perfect for allowing us to explore the grand canyon and also spend a day in Sedona! We even ventured farther north of Page and got to explore some slot canyons! That was along day but even leaving from Flagstaff we were home well before dinner time. The kids really enjoyed the meteor crater site near Flagstaff and being so close to Winslow we stopped there for an iconic picture as well. We felt the location and area was perfect for what we wanted to accomplish. The presence of a washer and dryer allowed me to come home with clean clothes which was a win. Our boys absolutely loved watching March madness in the game room while playing several games of ping pong. We would definately return! We may consider coming back for a ski weekend and trying out snow bowl! We couldn't get enough of the San Franciso Peaks out the front windows. Coming from Chicago I never expected Arizona to have so many different landscapes but we loved them all! Thanks for opening your rental to us...we had a great spring break!

About the host
Hosted by Jennifer Gardner
We are from Scottsdale and bought this home as our summer getaway to escape the heat! Now that our kids are getting older, we tend to use the home more for Snowbowl now which has been an absolute joy watching them improve every season. We decided to host our home to give other families and friends the same opportunity. My husband works for a large hotel chain and we both were servers when we met. Needless to say, we love hospitality and giving guests a wonderful way to vacation.
Why they chose this property
We chose this neighborhood for the quiet yet family friendly feel. Their is a wonderful park and walking path right down the street.
What makes this property unique
Our mountain views from the living room is my personal favorite part of this home! Guests favorites seem to be our game room, office space and split floor plan. The large garage and crib have also been our highest complimented features.
