Newly Renovated Norris Lake Home with Private Dock
Beautiful, comfortable home right on Norris Lake with private dock and hot tub only 45 minutes from Downtown Knoxville! Enjoy a quiet place to relax with friends and family while still being close to popular destinations such as Bubba Brews (10 minute car or boat ride). Large wrap around porch, back yard, and large, private dock allows for plenty of space for the whole family or group to enjoy sunshine and the beautiful lake. At the end of the day, enjoy a beautiful home with space for all.
Please note that Norris Lake water levels change during the off season (early September through March/April). TVA begins dropping the water levels in early September and will begin refilling them in early spring. While we do everything we can to keep our dock floating as long as possible, during the winter months it will likely be landlocked. Our home is still water front during the winter but please know that water will be much more shallow.
We allow friendly dogs at our home! Please be courteous to our neighbors as they do have dogs that roam freely. They are very friendly and may come to visit so if you or your dog is not ok with dogs, please be aware. Also, please be sure to clean up after your pup :)

This property was perfect for our family to stay at for a graduation celebration for my sister. Very nice, clean and located in a good area. We were very comfortable spending our down time hanging out at the house!
Stayed with three generations of family for New Years Eve. The house was wonderful for both the youngest and the oldest. We were 5 adults, 5 children and 2 teenagers and there was plenty of room. The bedrooms are super spacious with so much closet space, which really helped keeping the kids organized. The kitchen was amazing for big family meal preparations! They had everything we needed to cook for 12!I also have to say after staying at several Norris lake vacation homes that the road to this house was the easiest to access. Making quick trips to the store so fast. Thank you for a wonderful time!
The home is clean and nicely decorated. Proximity to the lake is great. It’s not a steep climb, but it is rocky and had broken glass by the water, so it was hard for my 74-year-old mom. The beds in one of the bedrooms are not queens as advertised. They are full-size. Also, the supplies left were sparse. For a family of 7 for five days, we had three rolls of toilet paper, one roll of paper towels, and three dishwasher packs. Overall, it was a nice place to stay and we made great memories.
We had a great 7 night stay here. The layout was great for a family with teens. Especially loved the 2.5 bathrooms with a lot of girls. The place was fully equipped and decorated with everything we needed for days on the water and nights cooking and relaxing. It is located in the same cove as Cedar Grove Marina which made morning ice and fuel fill ups convenient.
We had an issue with the refrigerator not working and they had a new fridge there by the end of that day which was impressive to me. Along with the communication from the owner.
Overall we felt like it was a great place for a fair price compared to others we have stayed at and for the number of bedrooms and accommodations. We would recommend this to others.
Overall we had a good stay. However, the outside of the property needed attention. When we arrived the grass was tall, there was a lot of debris especially down by the water and the dock was partially submerged. We rented a pontoon boat so my husband used a tool from the neighbor to adjust the dock above the waterline - we were compensated for the inconvenience. The inside of the home was nice and clean, great to have a washer and dryer especially having the dogs with us. The neighbor dog "Sky" was very friendly. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit and area was peaceful in early May.
The house and grounds were relaxing and provided a nice opportunity for us to get the family together.
There were a couple of problems that we encountered however. The shower door in the master bathroom has no seal and allows water to puddle outside on the floor in the corner; with no extra towels available to soak it up. The master bathroom door does not close all the way. All the beds were VERY noisy, creaking and crunching with every movement, making it very hard for the light sleepers in the family to stay asleep. Finally, there was no dishwasher detergent which meant we had to hand wash dishes all weekend until our departure.
Had such a great time. Spent thanksgiving there with family. Neighbor dog played with our dog. We spent time at the fire pit making s’mores. We sat in the hot tub. Nicely updated house with large rooms and great kitchen for entertaining. Would recommend.
The house was wonderful and is accurately described and shown in pictures. For the most part it seemed pretty clean- just some dog hair around and on furniture and can tell that it is a pet friendly home (which was to be expected when renting a pet friendly house). The property itself is very nice- we had beautiful fall colors during our stay. It was perfect to sit around the nice fire pit. The neighborhood dog loved to be around us when we were outside. She is extremely sweet and well behaved. The neighbor was also very friendly and introduced himself and made us feel welcomed. We would absolutely come back!
We love the cabin the home was very clean spacious the views were awesome. We will definitely be back thank you for sharing this great place to stay and bringing my dog was a great bonus. He loved the gated deck and so did I we could sit out there with no worries.
This place was so perfect. The lake is so close, so our dogs enjoyed swimming and running around all day long. The hot tub was super nice. There’s stores about 20 minutes away. It’s definitely secluded and private, but not too private. I will 100% stay again! I can’t say enough good things!
We were in town for an event and reserved this home along Norris Lake. Seamless check in, great communication and spotlessly clean. The house is very spacious, with large comfortable beds and a large kitchen and dining area. It was a perfect location for our family gathering. We will be back
Beautiful home and beautiful property. Quiet, serene and relatively private. Had the lake to ourselves in the post Labor Day week. Loved every second of it.
We really enjoyed our stay! The property was beautiful and fit our whole family well. It was very spacious and had everything we needed. The owners were attentive and always easy to contact with questions. I do wish there had been a adder on the dock. We rented a pontoon for the week from the marina and without the boat it would’ve been very difficult for our family members to get in and out of the water to swim at the house. Overall, we had an amazing time and would go back again. The lake was beautiful and the access to the marina and lake were great. Thanks again!!! 🤗
Great property on beautiful Lake Norris. Very close to a marina for easy boat rental. Less than 10 minutes to Walmart and grocery stores. The house is clean and comfortable and so is the lake. Enjoyed by all and comes recommended.
I would highly recommend this property. We have stayed at several houses on Lake Norris and this was best so far. Cabin was awesome, clean, looked just like the pictures and decorated beautifully, and hot tub was great. Kitchen was very impressive. We liked that it was a fairly flat walk to the lake, which was good for the parents, and marinas are right around the corner. Very easy to get to off of Route 33. It was a great graduation weekend.
Great location . Pretty area on the lake. Few minor things would make the place better. Beds are very hard , the hot tub doesn't have a real cover so the water was a bit dirty and couldn't get all the jets to work. Fireplace has a vent switch but even with it on the smoke didn't want to go up the chimney. Had to search for firewood as well. Not a bad place at all. Just needs a few minor things. We ultimately left a day early due to the beds

We grew up in the north and settled in the Knoxville area in 2016. We have loved the southern charm and slower lifestyle while still having incredible outdoor activities and great cities nearby. While we work hard during the week, it is important to us to have time for ourselves and our family to enjoy all that life has to offer! We hope you enjoy a small piece of that while at our home.
Why they chose this property
Having a lake home has been a dream of ours for years and Norris Lake is our favorite. Finding a home that would offer us quiet getaway that still had easy access to some of our favorite spots was a must! We're blessed to have found a place that has year round water with a fairly level lot so our son and dogs can play outside.
