Very disappointed
Booked this property in a hurry as a last minute annual French holiday. 2 adults and 2 children. Unfortunately this property did not live up to our expectations,€7,363 for 12 nights which is at the very top end. We take a property every year in France and are familiar with holiday rentals. First impressions of the property on entry were of a nice french home with lots of character. Nice TV room with great TV, adequate kitchen and a great outdoor kitchen area with beautiful views over the port of Sete. However this was the best bit. Upstairs rooms were musty and damp smelling, no toilet on ground floor, unusable toilet on second floor due to its ridiculous size leaving the only usable toilet on third floor accessed only through two bedrooms. Shower head on second floor was broken and had to be secured with sellotape. This shower also leaked into the kitchen below. Air con in hallways meaning bedroom doors had to be left open. Immediate outside area was dirty with broken flower pots and table. What were once beautiful gardens are now overgrown and pathways inaccessible. A BBQ area at the rear was filthy and unusable. Checkout per VRBO is 11 yet cleaners arrived at 10 Only communication from 'host' were screenshots of how to enter the property on arrival. Pool wasn't cleaned for duration of our stay and I believe hosts were on site when we left though did not meet us. 15 min ARDUOUS walk from town Photos are not current Could not possibly recommend
