Beautiful and private 1,800 square foot chalet on acres of property that backs up to county land with nature trails, wild life,streams and hiking. We are 5 minutes from Shanty Creek Resort Areas. This Property is part of the Chief Golf Course Resort. The Home is located within 10 minutes of the chain of lakes and the Jordan River.

Lake Michigan is located approximately 15-20 minutes away and within 30 minutes of the Mission Point Wineries. Downtown Bellaire, 5 minute drive from Shorts Brewery

Cabin is very private and is located at the very end of the Spring Ridge Condo Association Subdivision.

Great Stay at the Chalet

We enjoyed a day of skiing and just hanging out at the Chalet. The location is secluded yet close to town. The accommodations are roomy, comfortable, and just what we expected!

Great Holiday Ski Vacation

Rented boat on Torch lake at dockside

Great location. Easy to find house if you follow owners directions. Great house to come back to after a long day at torch lake. The only recommendation,would be to update deck.. It was safe but you could get wood splinter if you weren't wearing sandalssandalsolaBeautiful view!

Above and Beyond

This is an excellent property which exceeds the VRBO photos and description. We found it to be immaculate, well stocked, and specious with breathtaking views from the deck. The house is conveniently located, just a 20 minutendrive from the Torch Lake sandbar. Excellent!lake

Beautiful chalet

We loved it here. It was tucked far back in the woods and so beautiful and peaceful. Within six minutes of the town of Bellaire, which has some great restaurants and shops. The best one of those is Short’s brewing Company. Within 30 to 40 minute drive of tons of amazing northern Michigan places and things. Close to many inland Lakes and only about 35 minutes from Lake Michigan. We use this house as our cozy little homebase. Loved everything about it.

Great Stay!

Loved the peaceful setting and views from the deck. It was an easy drive to lots of activities and cities. We thought the property was walkable to downtown Bellaire when we booked it so we were a little bummed when we realized it wasn’t, but we still loved it!

Perfect vacation

This is a really nice place. Directions are a little tricky not being from the area. Google doesnt find the address. Really close and convenient to town yet you feel as though your in the deep wilderness. Light switches were tricky to figure which went to what lights. All and all it was a great place to stay. Gary was very quick to answer any questions we had. It would be nice if the pans were easier to clean or maybe a big no stick one for frying. The driveway is tight if your pulling a boat. Ours is 18 ft we did manage but anything bigger probably won't. There is room at the beginning of the drivay to park a bigger boat. Gary did disclose that it would be tight when we made the reservation. The house has some really nice pictures on the walls too.

Right in the middle of everything

We picked this property because it seemed to be right in the middle of everything we wanted to do and it was! 1.5 hours to Mackinac island and Sleeping Bear Dunes and 45 min to Traverse City! Plus downtown Belaire was fun too! Beautiful scenery and very quiet at the house. Great getaway.

Summer hide away

We enjoyed this tucked away house with a view that makes the evening sunsets breathtaking. Great for our families week away. Bellaire was a great little town to visit and parks that are must to check out with winery and breweries along the way. The drive is gated and the driveway is winding, but isolated to only three homes. The kitchen and deck are great for visiting. If you plan on cooking in home it’s great for the master chef, but limited for multiple cooks in the kitchen. Nice size and clean rooms. Bathrooms looked clean and good size. The house has limited yard space but offered a fire pit below the upper deck. We enjoyed the gas fire pit and grill! When arriving the garbage disposal was leaking and Gary was quick to answer and shared solutions. Great time!!!!!!

Spacious and Private

Nice place. Secluded in the back of a hilly, private (gated) area. Two bed rooms on the main floor, one with twin additional bunkbeds. Upstairs had a spacious bedroom with private bathroom and a great shower. There is an additional bed upstairs (open to the rest of the house) Plenty of clean sheets, towels, paper towel, toilet paper. All appliances and dishes (no keurig but there is a coffee maker. The deck had a nice view (could use some upgrading ). Basement has extra space with a few couches and a tv; a foosball table; no bedroom. Overall, happy with the stay. Have to travel for sight seeing and eating but there is a grocery store 5 mins away. Downtown Bellaire has a creamery, a few bars and shops, casual American dining. For more action, Traverse city is less than an hour. Nice scenic driving between towns.

Perfect stay

This property is AMAZING with stunning views. Gary was very responsive and helpful. Our daughter left her blanket there and he allowed us to go back to the house and grab it. The house has everything you need to have a great time! Highly recommend this house.

Connecting with Nature

The house was clean and had all the needed amenities to make the stay comfortable. There are great views of the horizon and trees off the back deck. We brought our three dogs and it was a perfect spot for them in the woods away from other neighbors. Very close to Schuss Mountain and 35 minutes to Boyne Mountain. Downtown Bellaire is less than 5 miles away.
