Stayed at this location for a month stay.Friday and weekends are a bit loud as there is live music at the pub next door during evenings. But the pub is fun to visit as well.During the week was quiet, and the backyard lake view is beautiful.A fun place to stay if you like weekend fun.view of the lake was beautiful.
We had such a great weekend. The house was perfect for our family and we had plenty of room to spread out and relax! We enjoyed going down to the restaurant and listening to the music. We look forward to staying again real soon!
This was hands down the cleanest place I have ever stayed in. We were here for 6 weeks, and loved every minute of it. Internet worked great which was a plus for my working husband. The bar/food truck next door was excellent. Good prices and the best food ever. The best part, the people were so friendly and I feel like I made many new friends. Nelson and Jesse were great to work with as the owners. Can’t wait to go back!
We had a wonderful stay. House was clean and great location close to Fort Cooper and Withlacoochee Rails To Trails. Big plus that it was next to the fish camp food truck! Thanks for a great stay!
Great long weekend stay. Home was clean and had big yard for kids to play. Caught fish right from the canal. It was great to have the food truck/bar right next door. Will stay again.
We enjoyed our stay and the home we stayed in. The host was very helpful and made us feel welcome and took care of us whenever we called. Loved visiting the sleepy hollow bar and grill as well and had fun when we visited. Great people, great time! Thank you!
The property and fish camp next door have a special place in our hearts now. Great community and host we had the best time and would definitely make the trip again. We loved the host as he was very nice and welcoming. A great stay.

This place was amazing.
It was a great location and a great size.
I wish it was warmer so we could have taken advantage of the water right outside the door but it was beautiful and I hope to be back for another stay.
We enjoyed everything about the place .It was nice and clean I could tell because I did the paper towel test on the floors and they were clean . That was my most concern it was excellent . We fished and seen a couple of gators which was awesome Yes I would come back again ! Thank you
We stayed in the house on Gobbler Drive; which turned out to be a hidden gem. We did not realize the owner also had a bar and grill, a private boat ramp for guests, and RV park on site; all within the area of the house. House was settled on a canal which fed to Lake Tsala Apopka. No problem getting my pontoon boat in and around navigating. The owner and his wife are fantastic people. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyed; and it was a pleasure to have conversation with them. Considering they had just went through a major hurricane; they made sure the house we were staying in, and the grounds around the place was in tip top condition. It is those types of things that I appreciate in people.
Although a bar is there, the evenings were very quiet and comfortable. No unnecessary noise; or roudy drunks raising cane.
I 100% recommend this place for a great get-away! I will certainly return there again!!
ps: do the Pirate Ship tour!!!
Four of us stayed here for 10 weeks while we did wildlife research in the area, and we could not have found a better place to stay. We could fish and launch kayaks from the backyard, and the birds and wildlife were sublime. The spot is quiet and peaceful, but live music and the bar/food truck next door gave us something fun to do on the weekends. We absolutely loved getting to know Nelson and Jessie and the Floral City community. We hope to be back to visit soon!!
This place is perfect for a weekend getaway. The owner went above and beyond with accommodations. Live music on the weekends, right next door. He even bought the kids ice cream which people really don't anymore. It's the small things that count in my book. Property was clean with all the necessities. Kids caught fish right in the back yard/ lake. We will be booking again in the near future!
My family and I stayed here for Spring break. We wanted a quick getaway with peace and quiet. This is exactly that! The property is spacious, the house is wonderful, the waterfront is serene! We absolutely loved this trip! Everything that we needed was there. We enjoyed days of relaxation! There's a great little store down the road called Boondocks that makes amazing sandwiches and has fishing supplies. This is a must for those that like outdoors, nature and relaxing.
We really enjoyed our stay. Had everything that we needed every Fri, Sat, and Sun next door they have a food truck and music and sometimes bands. You can rent kayaks and take a ride on an airboat. Nelson was great host he really made us feel at home
