Love the View - Beautiful Mountain Escape w/Hot Tub, Pool Table, Arcade & WiFi

Welcome to ‘Love the View’! Located in Dogwood Farms mountain community. You will be able to relax and take in the spectacular mountain views while dining outside on the patio or simply starting your day with a cup of coffee and your favorite book. With two wonderful covered decks, you will have plenty of options to pick your favorite spot.

Walking up the few steps onto the deck leads you to the beautiful view of the Pigeon Forge Valley. With two wonderful covered decks, you will have plenty of options to pick your favorite spot whether it’s enjoying dinner outside, relaxing in a rocking chair, grabbing an afternoon nap in the hammock or sipping a sweet tea while swinging on the porch swing. During the summer months you will also be able to see the fireworks shot off every night at Dollywood from the deck.

Located on the main level of Love the View is a fully equipped kitchen and dining area with enough seating for 6. Keurig coffee machine (pods not provided) and regular coffee pot (coffee and filters provided) available. The cozy living room provides you and your guests with leather couches to watch your favorite shows, free wifi, or enjoying the gas fireplace on those chiller nights (Fireplace is seasonal and will be turned off May 1 to Sept 30th). Also, on the main level is a king size bedroom with a flat screen tv with an adjoining bathroom with a large jacuzzi tub and shower.

Venture downstairs and you will find a pull-out queen sleeper sofa and couch along with a pool table, TV and DVD player, lots of board games, cards and books. A NEW Multi-Arcade with 60 Games including all the classic favorites like PacMan, Donkey Kong, Galaga was added in June 2021. You can conveniently access the lower deck where you will enjoy the relaxing hot tub which was upgraded in June 2021. Also, on the lower level is a king size bedroom with a full bath nearby. Washer and dryer are located on the lower level with ironing board and iron. There is also a water filtration system thru the entire cabin.

Blacktop road all the way with the last 2mins on a one lane road. No 4x4 required except for the winter months if there is snow. If you are not familiar with driving in the mountains which entails windy and steep roads recommend you arrive for your first time to the cabin during the daylight. I also have a video of the drive through the neighborhood that I can share.

The cabin is conveniently located 3 miles to the beautiful Foothills Parkway, 8 miles to Pigeon Forge, 5 miles to Wears Valley, 12 miles to downtown Gatlinburg, 8 miles to The Great Smoky Mountains Metcalf Bottoms.

The cabin will be decorated for Christmas in early November to January based on availability.

Starter pack provided for essentials (soap, shampoo, paper towels, laundry detergent, dish soap, dishwashing detergent and toilet paper). If staying multiple days please plan accordingly. Charcoal for the park style grill is not provided.

Love the View has a motion surveillance system recording the driveway. All other areas of the home are private.

Cabin was exactly as advertised. It was the cleanest VRBO I believe I have stayed in and is fully stocked for your needs. The host was kind enough to leave flowers for our anniversary. I would advise arriving before dark. Once you have driven it once it is easy to locate/drive.

Best VRBO experience ever

We’ve stayed in countless VRBO properties around the globe and I can honestly say hands down this one was the most seamless stay we’ve ever had. Absolutely zero issues before, during or after our stay, and the cabin itself was spotless with so many thoughtful extras! In the upstairs bedroom there was a charging cube that took usb cords or regular plugs- which was fantastic since my youngest forgot his charging block. The kitchen was very well stocked, there were loads of extra blankets all over the cabin perfect for curling up on the deck in the evenings. The hot tub, pool table, and game system provided endless entertainment as well! Thank you for everything, we will definitely be back!

We loved the cabin! The kitchen had everything we needed and we also used the outside grill. The view was beautiful!! The perfect view to wake up to every morning. The cabin was exactly as advertised. We liked that the cabin was away from town but close enough to most of the things we wanted to do. It was the perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing. It was our first time to visit the Smoky Mountains and we had a fabulous time! If we visit the area again we will definitely contact Dawn for this cabin.

Still “Love the View”!

This was our second year in a row to “Love the View”. Everything was clean and pristine. The view from the lower deck is getting obstructed by trees, but the view from the upper deck is still breathtaking! We will definitely be back!

The BEST cabin

Love the view is the perfect name for this cabin. We enjoyed sitting on the porch every morning looking at the mountains. The cabin smelled so fresh and clean upon entering. It has all the amenities you could ask for. The pool table and arcade game were a plus, kept the kids entertained! The first time driving up to it made me a little nervous, but it actually isn’t a bad drive. We even saw a little bear cub on the street our last day there. Dawn checked in with us the first day to make sure everything was good and she is very responsive to any messages I sent. Such a wonderful stay! Thank you!

Wonderful cabin!

The views alone make this cabin an amazing place to stay! We liked that the cabin was only about a 10 min drive to Gatlingburg/Pigeon Forge but also far enough away to really enjoy the quiet of the mountains. The cabin itself was very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the pool table &games provided. Dawn was a great host, she messaged to make sure we were able to get in without issues.

Excellent stay!!

Beautiful cabin, very clean. Amazing views!! Perfect for my husband, myself, our 4 grown children and 7 month old grandson. Our stay was amazing at this cabin. The only thing I would have wished for was a better mattress for the master king bed. But overall we will definitely be back!!!

Very nice and the perfect view

The view was amazing wish we would of had more time at the cabin. The perfect getaway to relax. We enjoyed playing pool and games. I took my mom for her birthday. They left her flowers and a card that was so nice. I told my husband we have to stay here on our next trip there.

Love the view.

This is a great cabin with lots of space and incredible views of the great smoky mountains. My wife loved sitting on 1 of the 2 balconies with her morning coffee. son and I took full advantage of the hot tub, pool table and arcade. Would definitely stay here again, great feeling of privacy.

Love the View

We absolutely loved our stay during spring break! The cabin was beautiful as well as the view. It was very clean, the beds were comfortable and it was well stocked. The cabin is secluded, so you have privacy. The last part of the drive made me a little nervous, but it is so worth it! After going up and down the mountain all week, we were pros by the end of our stay. We enjoyed swinging on the porch and had so much fun in the game room. Dawn was very responsive, even when we reached out very late one night, which we greatly appreciated! We would recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to get away and escape! Did I mention the gorgeous view?

Cozy cabin

This cabin was perfect for my husband and me and our daughter and son-in-law. We really enjoyed our four nights there. The view was beautiful and we wished we could have spent more time on the deck. Unfortunately we ended up having a cold weather week. That didn’t stop us from hiking in the Smokies. We were always excited to get back to the cabin for our nightly movie. Dawn has supplied everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. We didn’t cook though. We ate out most of the time. Every restaurant was listed in Dawn’s binder in the cabin. And we enjoyed each one so much. Thank you Dawn for putting that binder together. The cabin was immaculate. I could use their cleaning service at my own home. Check in and checkout was a breeze. Initially it was a tad freaky driving up to the cabin but we got use to it and loved being away from the main parkway.. Hopefully we will get back to the same cabin. Everyone agreed they loved everything about it.
