We enjoyed our week's stay. The accommodations were great for our crew. The grandkids loved the lake for swimming! We did a lot of fishing even though we didn't catch many. Great memories made!
Great property for a large group of family and friends. Had a wonderful time, ice fishing, built a nice bonfire, and explored all the local lakes nearby. Lots of room for sleeping, napping, and relaxing.
Great house and location. Enjoyed fishing in the early morning, and afternoon. Nice space and area around the firepit. Overall a very enjoyable getaway for our family.
The home was comfortable and had all the basics needed for our stay. The area is beautiful. There were a couple quirks with a winter stay - the downstairs was quite a bit colder than upstairs, and it was tough to access the lake for a winter walk due to the steep slope. We had a great stay.
The view of Lac Courte Oreilles is amazing. The sunrises are spectacular. We had guests during our 2 week stay and they were able to have the downstairs living area all to themselves. The cottage was very clean and well maintained. Our hosts, the Seiferts, were friendly and so easy to work with. They made sure our stay was perfect.
Cabin is nice & clean & spacious. The kitchen was well stocked. The added bunk beds in basement was an added bonus. Perfect spot on lake. We enjoyed the fire pit as weather was not the best. The hosts are very responsive and had lots of great info about property & lake area. We will definitely go again!! Great trip!!
What a phenomenal view, great location and great fishing. Our son in law caught his first Musky. Even though we brought our fishing boat, we enjoyed taking out the pontoon so the whole family could be together. It was great for the grandkids to walk around and our 3 year old grandson reeled in 15 fish (worm and bobber setup).
Fires, s'mores, card games in the evening.
We truly enjoyed our stay.
Our annual family lake week was at Tracy's home and we all had a great time. We especially liked the downstairs bedroom with queen and bunk beds for the littlest grands, it is quiet and away from the general traffic giving them the nap time they need
There is plenty of opportunity for all to swim, fish and boat with two boat up bar/restaurants on the lake
Tracey is very communicative and replies quickly to any questions. The home is very well stocked with necessities a large refrigerator and two showers one up and one down help with a larger group
The view is spectacular, thanjs Tracey!
This a an awesome cabin on LCO. First, the property manager is great. Any questions we had or anything we needed she handled right away, no issues. The cabin is spacious and a good layout. We had two families both with multiple kids and a dog and we did not feel cramped. It felt like we all had our own space and the kids had plenty of space to play inside and out. The dock is the nicest dock at all the cabins I’ve stayed. Had no issues parking my 18’ Lund and they even provided bumpers and power to the dock. It’s also a sand bottom around the dock which allowed for the kids to swim off the dock when we weren’t boating. LCO was awesome, great fishing, plenty of open water for water sports, and the sand bar was a family favorite for hanging out during the day. Looking forward to staying here again.
Enjoyed a great week full of pontoon rides, fishing and relaxing. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Communication with host was great, and everything went smoothly. Would definitely stay again!
This was an awesome family vacation on a great lake. The cabin was spacious enough for 6 adults to share. Definitely rent the pontoon and spend time relaxing and take in the beautiful sights. I wish we would have stopped at the sand bar sooner and that we took a ride on the pontoon to the Traveler's Edge restaurant. We were fortunate to be able to enjoy the full moon and fire pit. Tracey and her husband are fantastic hosts. We highly recommend this VRBO to anyone looking for a lake getaway.
Great location on the lake. Nice dock and swim area.
We had plenty of room for 6 adults. We were comfortable although the upstairs couch has seen its better days.
Tracey was very responsive and check in/check out was simple. The garage made it easy for us to unpack in the rain.
We would stay again.
If you like waking up to a gorgeous view of a lake and sunshine streaming in a large picture window, then this cabin is for you. Cabin was roomy and clean, well-stocked, and nice amenities. Tracey is a gracious and communicates well. Loved the gas stove as it made cold April nights cozy and warm. The upper level has a well-furnished kitchen and a friendly living room. The lower level has a large room which was perfect for our teenagers. Foosball table was fun for all. The cabin has a nice deck with lots of room and a fantastic view of the lake. Another plus is the gas grill, easy to use and with a connected gas line. Overall, a great vacation and I look forward to another trip.

My husband Jon and I have four wonderful busy children, two in grad school and two in college. While we live in Pepin we are looking forward to enjoying some well earned relaxation time on the lake! While our lives stay as busy as they are (for a while anyway) we would love to share our beautiful cabin with others. Gather with family or friends and make your own memories on Lac Courte Orielles!
Why they chose this property
We fell in love with this cabin as we were looking to the future when we would have more time to spend playing instead of working! And this is perfect! Lac Courte Oreilles is the muskie lake my husband dreams about and the watersports are endless for the kids and their friends! The cabin has all that we need for a home away from home and is only 20 minutes from downtown Hayward where there is plenty of shopping (three of our four children are girls:)), restaurants and activities.
What makes this property unique
Lac Courte Orielles is the premier fishing and water sports lake in the area! Want to boat to dinner? Can do! Running low on fuel in your water craft? Wow! You can take care of that too - on Lac Courte Orielles! Come back to the cabin and relax inside or out! Pontoon boat on site available for rental! Contact owner for details! Winter is also a blast! Cross country skiing can be done right out the back door with great trails not too far away. And of course snuggle inside by the LP wrought iron stove! Sorry we cannot accomodate snowmobilers due to limited winter parking space.
