About The Lodge:
Nestled less than 1.5 miles from Snowshoe entrance and 4.6 miles from the village, The Lincoln Lodge offers an idyllic mountain living experience. This picturesque log cabin, spread over more than 3300 sq. ft., comfortably houses up to 15 guests. After adventurous days, unwind in the private hot tub, cozy up by the fireplace, or engage in various activities available from hiking to mountain biking, skiing to golfing.

Snowed in a snowshoe heaven on earth

Exactly what we needed, enjoying family and friends in a wonderful cabin in the woods, lots of fun at Snowhoe, games and good food. Made some great memories with this to the Lincoln Lodge

Ski weekend

Really nice log cabin with all the amenities. Very secluded but close to Snowshoe resort. Lack of cell service is concerning especially when trying to communicate with the group. WiFi was spotty when we were there

Amazing

This property was fantastic! We traveled as a family of eight. Everyone had privacy and the common areas were perfect for family meals and gatherings. We were close to skiing but had the secluded feeling we wanted.

Beautiful, clean, relaxing

Our family loved this cabin. It was even better in person than the pictures show. So many pleasing aesthetic details in each room. (It also smelled amazing!)The kids were able to ride their bikes in the drive. The games and puzzles were a great bonus. It rained several days and we had brought our own games, but never needed them! The cabin had a variety of books and games already there. Very positive experience.

From the moment we could see the cabin from the driveway, we were happy with choosing to stay at Lincoln Lodge. It’s picturesque, filled with unique touches, had everything we needed, was spacious and relaxing! Minus the rain, our stay could not have been any better. Thank you so much!!

Wonderful Cabin in Snowshoe Area !

We stayed her over Thanksgiving weekend 2021 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There were 15 of us and the cabin provided multiple locations inside and outside for us to be very comfortable without feeling crowded. A perfect location which provided the privacy we were looking for. Kevin was a terrific host and responded quickly to any need we had. Highly recommend for the perfect getaway!

Amazing House

My family and I had an awesome trip to the mountains. We all said the minute we walked in the house it felt like home. Very comfortable, lots of room. Conveniently located to Snowshoe Resort and Green Bank Observatory. At night the stars were truly spectacular. Kevin the owner was great - emailed detailed instructions and very responsive. Overall a wonderful trip.

Awesome Cabin. Fantastic stay

This was the most peaceful and relaxing vacation my husband and I have had. There were 7 of us. Our young adult children (ages 25 - 27) totally enjoyed the Cabin as much as we did as well as the easy access to many activities nearby. At the Cabin, it is so peaceful. Whether sitting on the large wrap-around porch reading, hanging at the fire pit, relaxing in the hot tub or chilling in many of the nooks inside, there is plenty of room to be together and enjoy each other's company or be alone and enjoy a good book. The trip to Snowshoe is a short and scenic 10 minute drive to find plenty to do. We enjoyed skeet shooting, hiking, shopping and dining out. The kids also enjoyed a little bar hopping to the local brewery and pubs. On our last night there, we went for a small live music event while sitting around a fire pit. (Surprisingly it was 54 degrees that night in July!) We also enjoyed our visits from Maple, the friendly neighborhood dog who you didn't know was around till he showed up on the porch. :) We only stayed 4 nights and could have filled a few more days and nights with things to do and wished we had more time. Kevin was an outstanding host, always quick to respond to any inquiries. His home is very comfortable and well decorated with thoughtful interest and the local theme. It is well stocked with anything you could possibly need. Find some time and book it here. You will not regret it. Thank you Kevin!

Great location

Great location, so close to Snowshoe entrance and was surprised that it is on top of the mountain so great views going back the lane. If the owner would take out a few trees there would be an awesome view of the mountains. Very well stocked cabin.

Perfect friends and family getaway

Four days and three nights of really solid relaxation. Incredibly quiet and peaceful with incredible views from hot tub. Beds were comfortable and everyone slept great. Plenty of room for 4 adults and 3 kids. Will definitely book this place again when it’s time to relax.

Perfect Getaway

We'll definitely be back! The house was beautiful and the location was perfect, less than 15 minute drive to the top of the mountain. The cabin was stocked with everything our group of 10 could've needed. Kevin was very helpful with any questions we had, he had great recommendations for our travel and responded very quickly. The road to the house is a bit treacherous, highly suggest a 4WD truck, but the drive is so worth it!

Beautiful Rustic Home

My family and I stayed in this beautiful home in January. This house was in a great location and about 15 minutes from Snowshoe. The house is absolutely beautiful. There are lots of trees which makes it nice and private. Lots of area to walk outdoors. The house had everything we needed to cook. Biggest thing to keep in mind when you stay here is that there is only a couple mini marts where you can get a VERY limited amount of groceries. It worked out for us because we had brought some groceries with us. There are lots of restaurants in Snowshoe though. The other thing to know is that the house isn't quite where your GPS takes you its just a little bit further past that so just drive down a little bit more. Overall we had a great experience and highly recommend staying there.

Our winter vacation 2020

I would like to start off by saying that communication with Kevin the owner of Lincoln lodge from day one was very easy he gets back to you right away and answers every question you may have. When we arrived at the cabin it was just as described super clean and very well maintained. The property is very well stocked and owners have thought of everything from extra beds, a fully stocked kitchen, toiletries ect. If planning on going in the winter chains and 4x4 will come in handy roads to the property are cleaned of snow but do ice. This property is just amazing you can walk around the area and the views are amazing as well. The neighborhood dog Ruben is the sweetest great place for family and children of all ages. We traveled 8 of us 4 adults and to small children and we all equally enjoyed our stay. Thank you Kevin and family for providing your home to make such great memories. Looking to return in the future.

Magical Christmas Getaway

Overall, our impression of the property will be a lasting one after spending several days with family and close friends enjoying the wonderful accommodations - from the rustic cast iron fireplace, gracious master bedroom and numerous gathering areas for kids, adults and a combination of both to break away for a game of UNO, to catch up on some streaming series or just enjoy one another's company. Proximity to Snowshoe resort made for easy access and true appreciation of the hot tub in the evening! The seclusion enabled us to explore the surrounding mountain via old logging paths and a well timed snow storm led to an epic snowball battle and snowman construction - for some, for the very first time. We would highly recommend this property and will most certainly stay here again!!!

Hunter's Ridge is the ideal location to enjoy all that Snowshoe has to offer. It is a quiet neighborhood with a few other beautiful homes well spaced out, making for a great 'home base' for your vacation. With its close proximity to the Snowshoe Village, you get to experience the best of the resort - and then can retreat to your own secluded space away from the crowds. You get the best of both worlds!

We named it 'The Lincoln Lodge' as an alliterative homage to a 'lincoln log' cabin, as well as a nod to one of our favorite presidents. Everything detail sets the atmosphere for the perfect mountain cabin vacation!
