Enjoyed our stay while visiting our daughter who works at RMNP. Very windy while we were there! Enjoyed a short hike and playing board games during our stay.
This property was very nice and great for two adults. We would recommend and would stay here again.
The process for swapping out supplies (such as getting clean towels) was very easy.
Having multiple fans available was great as we took advantage and used them in multiple rooms.
The hot water was AMAZING! No problems whatsoever with getting hot water any time of day or night.
Our recommendations would be to have a screen door on the kitchen door, and a wall clock in the main living area. Not deal breakers, but would be very useful.
Overall, great property!
The cabin was very small for 4 people, but cozy. Windows need updating and the shower hardly has the force to wash the soap off one’s body. Good location and maybe other cabins on the property would be better.
Very quaint and clean with some kitchen and bath supplies just as stated. The location is excellent with a grocery/convenience store and fuel right across the road. This is north of town but just a short drive. Close and easy to get to the mountains. We woke up to snow this morning and they were out cleaning it up early. Very nice for a long weekend visit.
The cottage was cozy but perfect for our family of 5. Great location near the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. Lynette was wonderful as a host and in all our correspondences. Would highly recommend!
The cabin was cute and a convenient location. Our only issue was there is no daily service. When we ran out of toilet paper, the online form didn’t work to request toilet paper to be delivered. We had activities already scheduled the next day where there was no cell service and couldn’t call during office hours to request more. We bought our own to cover the end of our visit. The microwave also didn’t work. The food spun but didn’t warm up. So we had to make do with the stove top. A little inconvenient, but not terrible. It was a decent place to stay.
Great location of cabin. Short drive to Main Street of town. Across the street to grocery store and gas station. walking distance to a few restaurants. Clean cabin and check in process was easy. 5min drove to entrance of Rmnp.
The cabin was clean and comfortably furnished. Kitchen stocked with all items needed for our meal prep. Communication and check in went smoothly. Will plan to stay at this property again.
This cabin was listed accurately. I didn't notice that AC was not listed and therefore, the cabin is only equipped with two standing/oscillating fans. The first night it was really warm until after midnight, but after keeping the windows open and air flowing, the other nights were comfortable.
We had an issue with the full size bed in the front room. The frame was very loose and a couple screws could be hand turned. It wasn't a confident night's sleep, but I notified the property manager in the a.m. and they sent someone over within an hour. We were at the RMNP (which is a very short drive!) so when we returned, it was fixed and all of our stuff was left, untouched. Awesome response time!
The cabin is cozy and near restaurants, all types of outdoor activities and a few minutes from downtown. Not a lot of space for a family of 4 with teens, but for cooking breakfast and sleeping, it was sufficient. The kitchen was stocked w/ all of the items listed. There was adequate bedding/pillows and towels for all of us. We recommend this property, especially in the cooler months when a ceiling fan or central isn't a desire.
Location was great. Store and restaurant close by was so convenient. Having key code made check in easy since our flight was delayed and we didn’t arrive till after midnight. Only complaint was that the full size bed frame broke each time we got in bed and twice in middle of night. My husband had to lift mattress so I could replace wood piece underneath. Needs fixing! Otherwise cabin had everything we needed for a short stay.
Cottage was perfect for our trip to Estes Park/Rocky Mountains. It was very clean upon arrival and stocked with utensils we needed. Location was nice as it was close to downtown but away from the busy traffic. I would definitely book Lazy R again.
