About this property

Mountain View Retreat-Sunapee

Enjoy beautiful seasonal views and access to all Sunapee has to offer including skiing, boating, hiking, and local shopping! Four minute drive to the ski hill and eight minute drive to Sunapee Harbor.

Our fully furnished, 3 bedroom 2 full bath home is all on one level. Guest will enjoy a master bedroom with king size bed and an updated, spa like, on-suite bathroom. Second bedroom with one queen bed and third bedroom with two full size beds. Large living room and open concept kitchen and dining area. Fully enclosed summer porch for added space to spread out. The single car garage allows for guest to park indoors during the winter months and out of the sun during the heat of the summer. Two additional outdoor spaces are also available for guest use. Plenty of room to store ski gear and winter clothing in the garage foyer. We also have an awesome ski boot dryer for guest use!

Please note: Other vacation rental on site. Seperate entrances and all doors have deadbolts for everyone’s safety.

Modern house very close to Mount Sunapee

We had a great long weekend stay at this house - everything was new and updated. We loved that all the light switches and cabinets were labeled - it was very easy to find everything in the kitchen. Very convenient location within 10 mins of Mount Sunapee.

The OG (original guests) Return

We were the first guests a couple years ago while working at the mountain over the holidays and the whole family agrees this is the best place we've rented. There have been some upgrades, the primary bathroom is like a retreat! The kitchen is stocked with anything you could need to prepare a meal, better than our home kitchen. The boot dryer is key when working/skiing multiple days. The location is central to Sunapee, Newbury, Goshen, and Newport, and while accessible, it is quiet. This year the kids are older, and "had" to bring their own cars and the owner was very accommodating by finding parking. Owners are always in good communication and patient with questions. Hopefully we can stay there again, it is so comfortable and welcoming.

Summer weekend

This property was just terrific for a family stay with three teenagers. The house is very comfortable, newly renovated and with excellent airconditioning (on a super-hot weekend). Would strongly recommend this vacation property. Its a quick drive to the lake and the ski mountain.

Great stay, 5 minutes from skiing….

We had a great long weekend at this house. No surprises, everything as described. Was just our family of 4 but would be ok for a slightly bigger group. We skied every day and had dinner nearby at a friends both nights so weren’t there much.

Great ski home

This is a great property! Super close to skiing and great set up. Beds were comfortable and they have the place well stocked! Almost like being at home. Property owners are very easy to get in touch with and super friendly. Just FYI- we missed it in the original listing but there is a downstairs apartment with a full time tenant. The spaces are super separate and during our stay they were generally very quiet but the first night we didn’t realize and were a little startled. But overall still great and we’d stay there again in a heartbeat!

Family Ski Trip

My family and I just spent a ski weekend at this house and had a great time. Bedroom layout was great for our 3 young kids with perfect common space and kitchen/dining seating. Heated garage spot was fantastic in the cold weather to keep the car and ski gear in. Owners were super communicative, and the property's' location was 5 minutes from Mt. Sunapee. Would definitely stay here again.

Great place

Ski weekend for family of 5. Place was super clean, organized, and perfect for us. Garage access was a huge bonus along with ski / boot storage. Great place, and Jessi was super responsive if necessary.

Another great ski vacation!

This was our second time staying at this property. The house has everything you need and is very thoroughly cleaned. We have two kids under five, and we came back after our first trip last year. And we would come back anytime. That's the best review I can give to any vacation rental.

Enjoyable Vacation Home for family with teens.

We have stayed in many vacation rentals this was one of the best. Clean, comfortable and well designed. Owners have thought of everything. Great communications and very responsive. Highly recommended. Property better than some of their pictures show.

Great Ski House

Good location. 5 min from Mount Sunapee. Brand new kitchen - good spot for cooking and entertaining. The garage was a really nice touch and it really was nice to have in the mornings before going to the mountains.

Great Place for Sunapee Ski Trip

Our family (2 kids under 5) stayed here for 7 days, and we were genuinely pleased with its location and amenities. The location is only 5-10 mins away (depending on snow) from Mount Sunapee. The view from the house is also great for checking the mountain snow condition. The house, as you can tell from the pictures, is perfectly equipped for a ski vacation - plenty of garage space to store your gear, a mudroom area for your boots and jackets, and a dryer for your boots. The house is set up with multiple HVAC zones, which is a huge plus if you are traveling with young children. The house is also fairly new and not drafty at all, but you may want to bring a humidifier if you are picky about humidity in winter. Snowplow service was also right on time, which helped us get out of the house in time to catch the first lift up. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and had no issues at all, and we will revisit next winter!

Fantastic location, loaded with amenities

A great property. Clean, new, has everything you need for a great stay. I've never seen so many electrical outlets. Heated garage - keep your ski gear warm and dry without tripping over in the house.

MLK Ski Trip

The house is lovely. Very spacious, large open kitchen area. All three bedrooms were spacious. Excellent location to Mount Sunapee. Jessi was very responsive at all times. Would highly recommend the house.

Fantastic family stay

We stayed with two families with teenagers for a week over Christmas and the New Year. The house was sparkling clean and new, with nice touches including decorations, all new cooking utensils, pots and pans, coffee maker, and the laundry was convenient. The beds were the most comfortable rental beds we've had and the sheets were so soft. We slept great. The showers were new, fantastic and clean. The open floor plan worked well as we could be independent but still near everyone. There are tenants downstairs, so being respectful of that weighed on my mind a little, mostly trying to keep the kids quiet. The location relative to the mountain was a short drive and convenient for dropping off and picking up. I could tell the difference between this house where the owners are trying to create an experience rather than just rental income. Ted
