About this property

Our beautiful bay house in Rockport is a two story home with 4 bedrooms which allows for plenty of privacy and relaxation. The top floor has an open floor plan with a living room that's open to both the kitchen and dining area. You have access to the balcony where you can look over the canal and have your morning coffee or afternoon happy hour! From the top balcony you have an Aransas Bay view! Our kitchen should provide everything you need to prepare large family meals or just snacks for your day time adventures. The home sleeps 10 people comfortably with the option to sleep 12 on the pullout beds in the bunk bed room. The upstairs master bedroom has a king size bed with comfy bedding and a full bath. Upstairs guest rooms come with a queen bed and its own full bath. Downstairs is the bunk room with two twin bunk beds. This room has the option to sleep 6 with two pullout twin mattress underneath each bunk bed. The downstairs guest room has a king size bed with its own full bath. The downstairs also has a cozy TV area with a Flat Screen TV and DVD player. The backyard is very spacious with plenty of places to relax and catch up with friends or family. A big waterfront canal deck with plenty of space to dock your boat! We have a gate between the house and canal to keep the kids safe and relax with a peace of mind! You cannot beat that! The backyard is equipped with an outdoor gas grill. There is a Fish Cleaning Station right on the back dock! We also have kayaks and paddleboards for your enjoyment. The community pool is a short 3-5 minute walk from the house! Beach is only 2 miles. The perfect family fun vacation!
We encourage month long stays in the non peak season (September-February) by offering a 60% discount. We offer a 10% discount for week long stays.

Family Reunion Time

Great place to stay. Our family has been coming to the March Oysterfest weekend for many years. We have stayed at this rental for three years. Hosts are very accomodating. Would highly recommend.

Our 2023 Christmas get away.

We did enjoy our stay. I was a little disappointed in the kitchen supply of pots and pans. There were only 2 kitchen towels and no can opener. Also, you have a serious issue of mice. We had to wash everything before using it because of an abundant appearance of mice droppings in the cabinets and utensil drawers. Otherwise, it is a beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood and was extremely enjoyable by my whole family.

Wonderful Family Vacation!

We loved Rockport! The town has such a chill and relaxed vibe. We really enjoyed the Rockport Beach which was clean and lovely, quiet and perfect for kids with its many playgrounds and covered picnic areas. The neighborhood is gorgeous and the pool up the street was a nice way to end each day... We mad lots of friends there too! Also, the Boutique & Daiquiri joint up the street (awesome clothing and daiquiris are to go!) was one of the best things to happen to the adults on our trip... ha!! We made daily trips there! I would go back to Rockport in a heartbeat! The house is big and beautiful and the layout worked perfectly for 2 families as we each had our own level. I will say that it's older and not real safe for kiddos (baby gates were rickety and there were dangerous, exposed electrical outlets). Considering the price you pay, a pack and play or high chair/booster would be awesome additions. There are also things in need of updating for sure. The kayak and paddle board have seen better days and the kitchen (which is lovely) does however need some dire attention up in the super unorganized cabinets with worn out cookware and things. The beds were soft and cozy, the kiddos loved to zone out on Netflix after a long day in the sun (couches however are really dirty!), and we all loved relaxing on the upstairs balcony overlooking the water. Overall, it was a great time and one for the memory books! Thank you!

This spot is great to split between friends/family for a weekend just getting away. Tons of places to sleep, 2 separate living areas, backdoor straight to water, & I felt the price was very reasonable/fair.

We found a strawberry flavored vapor in the pillow case on the bed left 2nd story bedroom. Rat droppings in the pantry. Water roaches in the bedroom on the 2nd floor right bedroom. We were listening to music and someone called the police. It was 10:32pm.

Rockport family vacation

We had a large group of 8 adults and 2 toddlers and the house fit us all perfectly! Having a bathroom in all the big rooms was amazing and the house was very well equipped with everything we needed during our stay! We enjoyed the days at the community pool and at the beach and our nights were spent fishing and crabbing off the dock. Communication with property managers was awesome as well! They answered all questions within minutes of sending a message. Overall a great vacation trip and will hope to return soon!

Family weekend

We had a wonderful experience. We had 3 young kiddos age 1, 3 and 3. The house was perfect with enough space and an outdoor courtyard for them to play at night. Loved the gate to keep the kids safe from the canal. Our favorite part was seeing a dolphin come down the canal one afternoon. We caught crabs from the dock and really enjoyed the outdoor setup. Highly recommend for families.

This property is in a nice safe location. The amenities included were great if you like to kayak and paddle board. We did fish and only could catch bait fish (piggy perch). The kids had a blast just getting a bunch of bites while fishing and watching the fish swim in the underwater light at night. As you walk in the house it’s cleaned really nice throughout. The included washer and dryer are a huge plus especially having small children that love to get their hands dirty. Overall this place met our expectations, so much better than the headache of a Hotel. One thing to mention is the kitchen and fridge is all up stairs. I’d suggest maybe a small fridge downstairs so we could’ve kept drinks etc downstairs, but not that big of a deal. In my personal opinion the price is a little steep but you do get a lot for the rental. I would definitely stay again Rockport is a good family vacation place.

Key Allegro is a beautiful location and very relaxing. Island time! The restaurants are terrific and many festivals through out the year!

What makes this property unique

The home is situated on a Water Front/Canal which makes it perfect for fishing and relaxing. The nice breeze always keeps it cool and we are on the "right" side of the Canal with the sun at your back when you want to relax in the early evenings! Its a great spot to read a book, relax with family and friends, or enjoy a glass of wine!
