Perfect!

Had an amazing stay at lil bear, booked for an anniversary celebration with husband. Cabin was clean and comfortable, was surrounded by beautiful trees. Bed was comfy. Was close to town for eats. If you are a runner can get a nice beautiful scenery run in right at the location. Book it!

Cozy cabin

Lil Bear cabin was much more than my husband and I expected. It was so cozy and had everything we needed for a comfortable getaway. Our host was easy to contact and very helpful. Although we didn’t use the loft, it was a surprise and would be nice for a child or even another adult.

The place was really nice, although after we had gone to bed the first night my husband got up because he felt something bitting him and it was a small seed tick! We check the bed and found another one! After the commotion, we didn’t have anymore trouble and enjoyed the rest of our time. We also live in a wooded area and know ticks are out, but being chilly in the evenings, we didn’t expect them to be a problem.

Even better than they say!!

We loved our stay at Lil Bear! It was clean, inviting, and was well stocked with everything we needed. The bed was extremely comfortable, and everything worked. Beautiful location! My only suggestion is that there are not enough pictures on the ad to do it justice. It doesn’t mention the cute room upstairs or the bathtub, which were nice surprises.

Was an amazing getaway

We stayed 2 nights just trying to get away from the stress at home and work. The area has a lot of cabins around but it was still private enough. It was clean and just the right size. Only thing that could’ve been better for me was none of the pot lids fit any of the pots and some of the dishwear was dirty possibly from someone else’s stay.

Nice, comfy cabin

My sister and I stayed for a short getway. The cabin is comfortable and clean. I stayed in the loft bed which was very comfortable, and my sister raved about how comfortable the mattress in the bedroom was. We cooked most of our meals, and the kitchen has necessary supplies, but it could have more dishes and better quality cookware and utensils. It was a little inconvenient for cooking, but we were still able to cook everything we wanted. The hottub was great and clean. We enjoyed the firepit and the porch. It was also super convenient to have the charcoal grill as well for cooking. Overall, it is an amazing property and I highly recommend!

Cabin was very nice, a little small for us (larger than average people and in 70s). missed not having nightstands by the bed. Cable didn't work but we could use streaming in the family room.

Perfect weekend getaway

My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our anniversary. The cabin had everything we needed for a quiet, private and relaxing getaway to the woods. We loved Lil Bear cabin and the surrounding area. We had neighbors, but it still felt very private. The hot tub was perfect to relax at the end of the day. We hope to be back!

Wonderful Cabin Experience

It was everything and more than I expected. Nestled away from the Highway, but quick access to it made this location absolutely perfect for my getaway. The State golf course was less than 5 miles away and a great short drive to other adventures made this visit totally awesome. Definitely hope I can secure this unit again for future visits. The only confusing part was receiving the email containing the directions and entry information a month before the trip. If that information is sent the week of would not get passed over as the trip would be imminent and that detailed information would be vitally searched. Nevertheless, the info was sent and overlooked because it was so early—my fault. Great host!
