Welcome to lake life at "Cause Beaches Be Salty". This beautiful lakefront home is in a quiet cove that offers plenty of parking for your vehicles. It features a private dock, great for fishing and sunbathing also enough of room for your boat or jet ski. The water in the cove is clear, clean, deep, and great for swimming and paddle boarding. 10 minute drive to Camp Creek boat ramp for easy access to the lake house. This 5-bedroom, 4-bathroom, sleeps 12, vacation rental features an inviting interior with a spacious living room and kitchen for unwinding at is best.

Weekend getaway with family

I booked the listing for a weekend trip with my family including in-laws and we all had a great relaxing time. Everything is accurate as described and once the weather cleared up the scenery was quite serene and exactly what we needed. Coleen and Mike were very responsive and helped answer any questions within minutes. The best part was that my wife had left her blouse that was handed down by her mom and she was almost devastated that she had lost it. One hopeful message to the hosts after the trip resulted in finding the blouse and they mailed it to our home without any issues. Thank you so much for hosting my family and for mailing the blouse! Will most definitely book again!

Host is responsive and helpful!

We had a few little hiccups during our stay but Coleen was quick to respond and take care of things. It was a pleasure interacting with her. The cove on the lake is quiet which is great for swimming. It’s also close to the marina and lots of little islands! Loved the location. Was a great summer vacation!

Quiet Cozy Getaway

We had an AMAZING week making memories with our 6 children. The house was cozy and plenty of space for all of us. The kitchen had plenty of pots and pans and we grilled out most nights. It rained 5 out of the 7 days but we played pool, games and just relaxed. The walk to the dock was easy and we had no issue having our boat. The owners were friendly and very responsive. We hope to be back soon!

Great location and great house

Great spot rightt on the lake with a short walk to deck, easy go swim off. The house was plenty of space for all 12 of us and we had everything we needed to enjoy our weekend. Great stay!

Great Family Gathering Place!

Our family really enjoyed our New Years Celebration in your cute lake front home. It was perfect for our family gathering. The living area was great for watching all the great football games. The kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. All enjoyed the pool table in the basement. We had a couple issues during our visit and the owners addressed them right away. We would definitely recommend this property for a nice laid back time on Lake Hartwell.

Amazing trip!!!

From the beginning to the end our stay was amazing!! Coleen was so easy to work with and very responsive! The house was impeccable when we arrived. We are already talking about renting again in the summer. The only complaint we had is our trip was too short!!

Great Vacation Lake House - perfect location

Great Lake house vacation at Cause Beaches Be Salty! We had 2 families with four kids in varying ages and it had plenty of space for all of us. The house was clean and well appointed with a lot of small touches that made it feel like home like board games and several throw blankets. The kitchen was well stocked with quality pots & pans, cooking utensils, appliances, etc. The paddle boards were a great way to relax on the calm water first thing in the morning. The location on the lake was perfect – not a busy area and the dock a quick walk from the back porch and seconds to get to the larger portion of the lake. We rented a boat and it was super easy to get in an tie up to the dock each day. The house only has one ac unit so the downstairs is cooler than upstairs (especially at night). I’d suggest bringing something warm to throw on when you’re playing games downstairs. Overall this is a great place to spend a vacation, very fun, very relaxing – our families had a perfect time! We will be back.

Fantastic lake house

We enjoyed this house for our annual family lake trip. Dock was perfect for our boat. The owners are very responsive and check in with you to ensure you are happy and comfortable.
