This is a beautifully decorated 1 bedroom/1 bathroom townhome located on the east end of the island at 300 Ocean Mile. It has been updated with beautiful coastal decor and furniture. You will enjoy gulf and pool views from the private deck. The beach is easily accessible from the community boardwalks. The kitchen and open living area offers comfortable seating with a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. The living room has a smart TV. The kitchen is well equipped with everything needed to cook those gourmet meals. You do have to bring your own food and condiments or buy them at 1 of the grocery stores on the island. The kitchen has granite counter tops, and a Keurig Coffee maker. The dining table seats 4. There is a laundry closet with a small washer and dryer located just off the kitchen. The master bedroom has a king bed., a smart TV and private balcony with gulf and bay views. The bathroom has been recently remodeled with a large walk in tile shower with glass doors and tile floors. There is new LVP flooring in the kitchen and living room. This townhome is perfect for a couple or a small family. As guest of the Ocean Mile community, you will have access to two community swimming pools, park style charcoal grills, community beach boardwalks and close proximity to the island bike bath and State Park. Sorry no smoking and no pets.

The unit was a typical Ocean Mile unit. We found the unit to be clean, and the photos were accurate. Lots of glassware and dishes but not much room for storing groceries, if you like to cook while there. We moved some things around and made it work fine.
We enjoyed it because of the pool area and easy access to the beach. You can view the gulf from your porch and it’s an easy boardwalk stroll to the beach.

This is not our first time at 300 Ocean Mile and we hope to have many more. This unit was close to beach and pool. It was clean and had everything we needed.
We had a really nice little getaway here at this condo. It is beautifully remodeled and comfortable. It was a cold weekend so we didn't get to enjoy the pool or the beach, but sitting on the deck with a drink until the sun went down was great!
What a cute and comfortable condo— my husband and I loved it! It had everything we needed and was very clean. It was so nice to walk on the boardwalk to get to the beach! Owner delivered info quickly and clearly. Our only regret was that we didn’t book for another week!
This is our third time staying at j6. Communication with the property manager was excellent. The place is as advertised. Great access to the beach. The manager's extremely responsive if there any issues. The place is well equipped for all types of cooking. Will keep coming back.
Good experience overall. The key code process was a little outdated, but worked okay. The instructions posted on the fridge were very helpful. Everything worked well.
Lovely condo, lovely location. We stayed on the island for a wedding down the street, and this was the perfect place to stay. We walked on the beach, went out for dinner, and cooked breakfast in the full kitchen. Everything online is accurate. The unit is clean and well appointed. No glitches, just relaxation! Can’t beat this unit!
This was a nice, quiet condo complex with quick and easy access to the beach and the pool. The home was clean, comfortable and had lots of kitchen items for cooking. Only issues were that the air filter needs to be changed and the ice maker drips water so the ice becomes one big block in the bin. Easy fixes. We enjoyed our stay and would happily rent here again!
This is a nicely appointed condo with easy access to the pool and beach. The kitchen is well equipped. The bed and other furniture was comfortable. We had a couple of issues with an outlet and a TV not working and the owner was quick to respond. Just know that the owner can't control when the repair person shows up! We have stayed at several of the J condo units at 300 Ocean Mile and this is one of the nicer units.
We stayed here for a week with our young son. We really loved that this was a townhome and there was no one under us or above us. This was a nicely updated unit. The only drawback is the pull out couch is not a best option for sleeping. Our son is fairly young so we did share the king size bed. Otherwise we were very pleased with everything. This is definitely a great location on the island. The placement of the unit is great, steps from the pool and beach. This is a great option for a couple and definitely for the first time exploring St. George Island.

Needs TLC
Due to the red tide infestation - dead fish on beach, toxic fumes - we decided to check out a day early. It’s an unfortunate situation, out of anyone’s control. As guests, we would have appreciated a message from the VRBO host letting us know about the red tide that has plagued this area since October 4. We probably would have chosen to delay our trip into the near future.
1. Bath - one set of bath, hand, wash towels per guest is not sufficient for a 3 night stay.
2. Toaster does not work
3. No dishwashing liquid, bring your own
4. TV remote(s) - no instructions found in unit. One remote needs batteries.
5. Some of the electrical outlets are not working – bedroom and living room. Seems to be the upper outlet.
6. Utility closet door is stuck closed. We could not access the vacuum or broom to clean floors as instructed per check out sheet.
7. Shower head has green corrosion built up
8. AC ran non-stop during our stay; HVAC return vents have a lot of debris buildup that needs to be removed
9. Grounds were well maintained, quiet, could have been relaxing.
I believe this property could be a 4+ star rating if some attention were given to the details above.
