I will definitely stay here again in the future

Me and my husband and our 5 children were visiting from FL. After booking Ethan and Jennifer reached out to me and gave me all of the info I would need to self check in once I arrived. I had no issues checking in at all. The room was clean and updated. Everything was fully stocked. They checked on us a few times during our stay and even sent me a link to check out their other rentals. I would definitely stay here again. It’s not too far from all the wonderful things that Gaitlnburg has to offer. Thanks again Ethan and Jennifer

The place was a little smaller in the pictures but we had a wonderful time!! We seen bears multiple times and loved it!

Nasty

I would not recommend this condo to anyone. Unless changes were made to the cleaning. The bed I should be sleeping in has peanut shells and other dirt not at all been cleaned! Reason I figured out what was in the bed is I found an empty bag of peanuts and a full bag. The king bed sheets and pillows have make-up on them that is fresh. I have pictures. I will never be here again. I have stayed in another condo in this same place. All was very clean. We also have dead ladybugs and dirt in the window seals. I started meaaaging them as soon as we got her. 7:30PM. No response even though he said up until 8:30. We come to Gatlinburg regularly. This is by far the worst place I have ever seen. I have been doing this area since I got married in 1977.

Very Dissapointing

The condo was very dirty. There was an Infestation of bugs in master bedroom, they Towel racks were falling off the wall, and the whole apartment could use a painting. The photos in the listing at the time of booking did not match what we found upon arrival. Would NOT recommend!!

Not well maintained, electic plugs out of walls, doors to bedroom difficult to open and close, stove was not clean, towels were damp and stunk, mattresses were so noisy (crunchy) that we could not get out of beds without waking up the spouse, very dirty under couches and chairs

Great little condo!

We staying for a night while passing through Gatlinburg. Condo was very nice, the only issue we had was actually finding the unit, it is in the multistory building in the back of the property. Everything was clean and well stocked.

I struggled with what to say for this review. The location is fine, check in process good and communication good. However, the apartment was the dirtiest vrbo we have ever stayed. It was not a one time not cleaned well issue. The construction is shoddy in the home. The white cushions in the photos are no longer white. We left our reservation early due to the conditions. The owner was understanding and refunded our remaining nights. Maybe it will be better for the next person? I hope so.

Wonderful Gatlinburg Condo

This place has a great location, about a 5-8 minute walk to downtown! This property was very nice, and recently updated. Very comfy beds as well. The only downfall was the lack of hot water, after 1 person showering it was pretty cold. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay and would stay here again! :)

The unit it’s self was very nice. Beds were comfortable. The disadvantage was that the basic necessities that was supposed to get us started was really basic like a partial roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and less than a half roll of paper towels in kitchen. The area to park was very small and it was very dingy and dirty looking going around the pool to go in to elevator. Water standing in area at elevator the whole time we were there.

Clean, cute, and convenient

The condo was very clean and convenient to downtown. I loved that all the bedrooms had their own bathrooms. The only problem we came across was none of the tubs had a stopper for giving our toddler a bath. Otherwise it was perfect! We will be returning.

Convenient location quiet area

For the price point the condo was clean and located in a convenient area. And all appliances functioned properly. Amenities were a little sparse with no bathmats, towel rods, hairdryers. One of the shower rods was hung too high so water pooled on the floor. The beds were comfortable in the rooms were adequate size. The condo is at the end of the complex so it was in a very quiet location.

Great Condo

We have stayed in Gatlinburg many times and this condo is our favorite! The layout is perfect for 3 couples. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. The location is good also. Not a bad walk to downtown. The condo was clean and well stocked. The beds are noisy when you sit on the edge but not when you lay down and are very comfortable. Ethan is a wonderful communicator. We arrived early and he allowed us to park in the complex so we could go ahead and walk downtown and enjoy the day. We will definitely stay here again.

We had a great time on our trip. The walk to strip was a little further then expected but still not bad and better than having to drive and pay to park. The beds all suited our needs and were comfortable but are very loud so if u are a light sleeper just bring ear plugs. We had my mother with us who uses a walker and we did have to move some things over a little for her to get into rooms and then move them back. The balcony is nice and faces the mountains. As soon as we arrived we saw a mama bear and 4 cubs. Then we seen them a few times from the balcony. I would recommend and would return.

Overall it was a lovely property, we had an incident at the beginning that put me off. As this was my first time on VRBO, being accused of smoking pot in the unit by the cleaning crew was very upsetting. I was immediately put on the defensive and threatened with a cleaning fee. I wish I got a phone call first to discuss this. Luckily my daughter was calm and talked things through.

Disappointed

We were disappointed with our stay at this condo and will not return. Several items of concern. First, the communication response time to our initial concern was lacking. We could not figure out how to get the door to auto lock when we left from the very start. After many texts with owner and property manager, someone came out Saturday morning and said that the lock on the keypad had to be turned vertical to auto lock. It was frustrating that it took more than a day to resolve. Second the chairs in the living room were gross. One chair was missing a back cushion and there were no covers on any of the cushions. There was blood stain and urine stains on them. We used a bedsheet to cover that. The blinds in the front room were missing slats. So we covered it with a sheet for privacy. The entire place needs updated. The condo facility itself also needs a big upgrade in stairwells and walkways. I took pictures of everything if there are any questions.

Just what we needed

The condo is nice if you are just needing a place to sleep. 3bedroom/3bath is really nice. Not too far of a walk to town, only 5-10 min depending on how you walk. We had some trouble figuring out which of the three buildings the condo is in and if you want to swim, make sure you bring towels. Place needs some bathroom floor mats and extra towels. Also, there isn’t much for utensils in the kitchen. There is no scissors and the 1 spatula we found was broken. My son had to by lightbulbs for his room due to the lamps either missing one or it was blown. My main issue really is the barn style door for one of the bathrooms. It doesn’t allow for actually closing the door, so taking a shower etc, requires closing the bedroom door. The door swings out due to it not having a lower rail. All in all, it was just what we needed for a 4 day weekend.

Decent stay at this property.

We love Gatlinburg. This was our first time here in the winter, and we thought it was beautiful, all decorated for Christmas. The stay at this property was decent. We didn't have hot water the first morning we were there, which could have been more fun for the 8 of us staying there. We contacted the property manager, and he could have been more helpful. He told us that sometimes putting a blow dryer on the pipes helps. There should have been more done to assist in the situation. We did have hot water later that night, but the hot water only lasted maybe 10 mins. We expected the hot water to last longer than 10 mins for a three-bedroom, three-bathroom condo. Also, on the first full day, we went back to the locked room only to find out that the code I was given to unlock the door was the wrong code, so we could only get into the condo later. Communication was decent, but there should have been more helpful with the hot water. The property could have been a little cleaner for our price.

Don’t Go

There were lady bugs and stink bugs, no heat, kitchen table bench broke with my daughter and grand child sitting on it then found out it was glued together. When we would leave the condo door would not lock so made us worried about our property. The fireplace would not work so we could have heat. Woke up in the night with the bugs crawling on us. Will not stay there again. When I addressed the issues with owner he said he was sorry and there was no coffee pot, he said he would try to replace the coffee pot. The condo is old needs updating. But will never stay there again. We had it booked 2/17-2/21 we left after 2 nights. Didn’t hear from owner until 3 day when I told him we were leaving. He informed me maintenance man was coming to put new furnace in after 2 nights in the cold with 2 babies.

You will see bears!

When we arrived, you can tell the unit was cleaned very well. Each bedroom had their own bathroom which was nice. We got to see a mama bear and her four cubs almost every day. Here are some things that made it positive and a few drawbacks: Positive: -Seeing mama bear and her four cubs walking around the property -Our kids had their own bed and bathroom (4 of us traveled) -It's an end unit. Barely heard anyone/anything until opening the door -Ethan was responsive to messages. There were a few things that could have made it better. -Having a toaster in the unit. If it was not on the counter, at least in the cabinets. -Not having cooking utensils. There was plenty of silverware, but not enough serving spoons. Had to break up ground beef with a rubber spatula. -Washer and dryer. While there is a coin washer and dryer in the building, there are only two of each. The unit does have washer/dryer hookup in one of the rooms, which would have nice instead of making sure you have enough change ($2.25 per load for both wash and dry) Walking distance to the parkway is about 10 minutes. Even though you are in the heart of Gatlinburg, the distance makes you feel like you are away from all the hustle and bustle.

Absolutely horrible experience

I’ll start with the good. The location being at the end of the complex by the steps was very convenient. The condo itself was exactly what we needed for 6 adults traveling in for a weekend wedding. My money was refunded. The bad started at check-in. Check in was suppose to be at 4. When we arrived at 5:30 it had not been cleaned at all from previous visitors. All beds were unmade and there was trash and some personal items left. I immediately notified the owner and contact person. I was told they would contact the cleaners. No problem, I understand things happen. My family and I walked down to the strip and went to dinner. At 6:52 I messaged the contact person back and asked “Will you let us know after they are done?” The reply was “Ok will do”. At 7 my husband said, let’s go check. So we start our walk back. We arrive at 730 and no one had been there at all. At that time I try to call both numbers I had and was unable to reach someone. My husband started messaging the contact person. He was told via text message the cleaners lived 30 mins away and had car trouble. This was @730. So they weren’t there and wouldn’t be there for at minimum 30 more minutes. Then they would need to clean and changed/wash bed linens. I immediately called VRBO to find somewhere to stay. Which was an entirely different issue with even more frustration. When my husband informed them we would not be staying there. He was told they could remove the cleaning fee !! At the end of the story
