THE PROPERTY: "Eleanor's Place" has everything you might want on your monthly vacation to Key West, beginning with your own private parking space (a rarity in Old Town) for your vehicle. Enter the front door through the cozy porch, which is a perfect place to relax and have coffee.
The house was beautifully renovated and FEATURED on HGTV's Island Life! The living and dining is open concept and features ample amount of natural light. On hot days, cool off with central air conditioning as you relax on the sofa and watch the flat screen TV on your nights in. The large renovated kitchen features stainless steel appliances, open shelves, and wine bar!
BED CONFIGURATION: SLEEPS FOUR
Just past the living room, off the kitchen is the main floor master bedroom which features a Queen Size bed and a wall mounted TV. There is a full bath on the main floor just off the kitchen.
Upstairs there is a loft style bedroom with a King Size bed, two night tables, dressers, a shoe rack, and it's own ENSUITE bathroom! There are doors at the top of the stairs for extra privacy.
OUTDOOR SPACE: The house features a beautifully lush side yard with an inviting patio, made from reclaimed bricks. The area also features a brand new patio set, barbecue, and garden lighting for relaxing nights under the stars. The house was elevated and repainted in 2025!
PARKING: Side driveway for 1 car!
LOCATION: The cottage is in desirable "Bahama Village" in "Old Town" Key West.
NEARBY: If water is what you want, the house is a short walk to the MLK Community Pool, Fort Zachery Taylor Beach, and South Beach! It's also only two blocks from the famous "Duval Street" and walking distance to most of Key West's main attractions, restaurants and nightlife. Start your day off with breakfast or brunch at the world famous "Blue Heaven" or enjoy afternoon sangria and tapas at "Santiago's Bodega"; if you feel like a little music stroll over for happy hour at "Rams Head Southernmost"!

One review on this website described disappointed in the comfort of the furniture in the living room - we have since replaced it with a more comfortable sectional now shown in the photos. The house was cozy and clean upon arrival, we especially loved the gorgeous backyard which was an absolute stand-out for us. The house was close enough to the town that we could walk-in every day and on the nights in which we decided to stay in the location was perfect for easy access to incredible food. I would highly recommend a stay here!"
"We spent December 2024 here and it was an excellent experience. Lesley was highly responsive to any questions we had during the booking process and during our stay. The cottage is lovely with a gourmet kitchen and beautiful outdoor area for dining amongst flora and fauna. We had a 9 pound miniature daschund and Leslie went out of her way to ensure there were no outside areas for my critter to escape the property. The guidelines book in the cottage makes it very clear on what her expectations are for the property during checkout including sheet and towel laundering and the replacement of any household items that may have been consumed. This is for the benefit of the next tenant but assumes personal responsibility for the use of these items. I just purchased our own household items and left the house items in tact. There is a lovely space upstairs for guests though we didn't avail ourselves of this. Location is in Bahama Village and a nice quiet part of town yet easily accessible to Duval Street and those activities and particularly Ft Zach state park and beautiful beaches. Highly recommend this property and you will have a good experience dealing with landlord Leslie."
