Every morning you can follow a small hiking trail with poles in hand for some fishing before breakfast, or at anytime during your stay. While you are down there everyone else could be in the 91 jet hot tub overlooking the trout stream. In the distance you will hear the whistle of the replica of a 1863 C.P. Overall, the view, location and property were great. Days were filled with hiking, bonfires, puzzles and games. A couple of disappointments. Like several reviews before this one, the hot tub only worked 1 day. The water was dirty and smelled. Then no hot water. I reached out to the owner and no response. One of the reasons we chose this property was to use the hot tub after a day of hiking. Also, the grill area and outdoor furniture were grease stained and dirty. We did have plenty of room for all of our family and we enjoyed our time together.

Pre-holiday getaway
The Whitetail Ridge cabin had lovely views and was a great location for our hiking and fishing trip centered on Beavers Bend State Park. Checking in and out was an easy process and communication from the host was prompt until it wasn’t. Some areas were cleaner than others. Amenities were present, though some lacking and not all in working condition. The hot tub did not work for our trip and I’m waiting to hear back about a potential refund.
This was a beautiful cabin in the woods, but not well maintained and not guest ready. Hot tub was advertised but never worked. No cleaning supplies, very few towels, front door handle was broken.
Beautiful view, surroundings were beautiful, house was set up well for our group- everyone had their own area, and the accommodations were great

Very peaceful
It was very peaceful there some issues with the hot and the internet and the bad door latch was broke but other that little things it was a nice and peaceful place
We absolutely loved this cabin! The view was incredible. The host doesn’t ask of much at check out time as well. Only one neighbor close by so it was quiet but we didn’t feel we needed to be super quiet. Wasn’t too far from town either.
Location was the best thing about our stay. Hot tub was not good (did not work properly and cover was nasty). TVs did not work. Some light bulbs out. Did love the decor and area around house. Fire pit was awesome! Used trail from cabin every morning and even walked to friends trail from house so that was amazing! Close to town so that was nice.
While we did mostly enjoy our time at this rental, especially the view from the balcony, we were pretty disappointed in the extremely steep and distant trek to the fire pit that was not advertised in the listing. This rental isn’t very inclusive to those with mobility difficulties who may want to spent time outside of the cabin. Additionally, the flooring planks on the lower level of the cabin have many gaps that are cause for concern, especially if you have littles running around.
I have stayed in cabins at Broken Bow many times and this is the best view I have ever seen. Even the drive to the cabin - switchbacks with a different t view at every turn, creeks, trees, wildlife. Cabin was spacious and clean. Loved the Blackstone grill on the deck and the stuffed bear.
The property is private and quiet with a fantastic view. We traveled with six adults and two children two and under and the property was well suited for our size. It is a beautiful cabin and location!
Whitetail ridge is an amazing cabin! It has all the charm and amenities as most of the luxury cabins offered in Broken Bow but the incredible view is what sets it apart! It’s my new favorite! I would recommend getting up there in the daytime as the roads leading up the top of the hill are narrow, curvy and steep in some places. We got there at night so it was a bit treacherous making it up in the dark but this place was well worth it! We will be back!
Property was beautiful but roads were a little scary being so far up in the mountains. GPS took us to the wrong house with a horrible driveway. It is the VERY last house on the road.
Had a great time hiking, fishing and kayaking. We lived the secluded area we were in and were able to hike down to the river and several trails. We wished there was different seating- seemed the living room furniture was broken (recliners) and no seating available in the large. bedrooms. Toaster was broken and knives were too dull to cut and all of the chairs by the fire pit were broken. , ( maybe covid has kept owners from staying to upkeep). We spent a great deal of time on the back deck playing cornhole and cooking meals. We had a wonderful time- thank you
This Cabin and location are beautiful! The view from the big deck was our favorite! The drive up to the cabin is amazing, a little unexpected , but amazing! The host was great and quick to reapond when we couldnt find our access code to the cabin.
