Lakefront studio

The spacious and comfortabel studio is located at the beautiful Sproat lake on Vancouver Island.
The studio is built on top of a garage on a steep lakefront property. It offers space ideally for a couple or a family with 2 kids. In the bedroom you can find a Queenbed and a bunkbed. A pullout couch in the living room offers space for two more people to sleep.

In the wintertime you can enjoy a bondfire close to the lake and summertime is the time to savour the dock on the lake.
Our entire property is nonsmoking and there are no parties allowed.

Carriage house by the lake
House was brighter and more spacious than photos depict. It was exactly what we needed for a home base close to town for son’s hockey championship games in Port Alberni. Would love to stay here in summer to use the dock more and go swimming and kayaking. As indicated in description, access to the lake is quite steep so a wagon to cart items down would be helpful.

Cabin at the Lake
Beautiful setting in a very quiet area, lake was clean and clear, nice dock. Modern cabin with good internet, if I go back to this area I would stay here again.

Beautiful getaway
A perfect spot on the lake to relax and soak up the sun on the dock. Private, comfortable and airy lodging, great communication with the host.

Another summer of memories
Summer 2022 was our second stay here. We bring our kids and stay for a week or so to have a staycation. We live in Port Alberni so we can still go to work but spending the evenings and weekends on the dock with family and friends is so magical. We take the kayaks out and watch sunsets on the lake, love that there is toys for our four year old so we don’t need to pack her any. This year we had an exchange student with us so it was two teenagers and a toddler, the bunk beds were great!

Everything we hoped for
The suite was clean and nicer than we expected, perfect for us. We thought there may be another house on the property where the owners or other guests stayed but there wasn’t, you have it all to yourself. And the dock was amazing, complete with a slide and diving board. The driveway to the dock is very steep, older folk or those with physical impairments may have a really tough time or not be able to make it. Overall we had an amazing time and would definitely stay again!

Great Family Fun!
Overall we had a great time. The diving board and slide are an awesome addition to the dock. Safe moorage for those who have a boat. Accessing the beach can be a challenge given the steep hill.
