About this property

Heated pool at the Heart of Tybee. Walk or bike everywhere 8 bikes for guest.

Welcome to the Wandering Mermaid. Check out the new pool and outdoor sitting area with fire pit.

The kitchen has white granite counter tops with white/blue cabinets.
The dining area features a large farm house table that can seat 10 people. The living room continues the coastal vibe with 2 large couches and an oversized chair.

The master bedroom is an oasis with king bed, 13 ft ceilings and a quite seating area. The master bedroom closet is so large we stuck a full size bed in there if needed for extra guest. The kids room upstairs is adjacent to the master bedroom with full bed with twin over. The second king bedroom and queen bedroom are located on main floor and share a bathroom. Check out video with drone footing to get a birds eye view of the area.

There are several bikes available for guest use along with gas and charcoal grill. The grilling area downstairs has a sectional sofa and chair with a 6 person table along with a full outdoor bath.

We provide a starter kit of soaps, shampoos and paper products along with filters and coffee for a standard coffee pot. There is also a keurig. There is an IGA grocery on Tybee that is a short walk or bicycle ride from the house if you need additional supplies. Additional charge of $50 per night to heat pool October thru April 1st. Spring Break stay

Beautiful home, well decorated and very clean! Great location, walking distance to plenty of shops and restaurants. Homeowners are kind and responsive. Pool was heated to a comfortable 80• and was the perfect size for our two kiddos! Would recommend for families with young kiddos!

Simply Amazing

This house was fantastic for our family of 5 (kiddos are 8, 6 and 4). The house was exactly as listed. The heated pool was amazing. Easy walking distance to south beach and all the restaurants and shops. The beach cart and all the toys/yard games there were a bonus. The owners were so hospitable and kind during check-in. We will 100% be back again next year!

Amazing home and located near everything

Didn't have to use out car for anything-everything was within walking distance and steps from the beach! The only thing was no full body mirrors, we are females and need to know how our whole body looks,lol. Other than that the house was amazing!!

Beach exploration

The property managers were very helpful. The house is as shown. It has a full kitchen with everything you need as well as fully signed for the beach. Along with the booked, it has a great beach wagon and amazing outdoor space. I will stay again!

This place was the perfect little getaway for our group of friends. There was plenty of space for 8 of us and we loved the heated pool and outdoor lighting! The outdoor shower and restroom by pool was clutch and all the different seating areas was great. Highly recommend this rental and the location is walkable to 15th street beach access!

Family Trip

We enjoyed the location close to the beach, shops and restaurants. We also explored Savannah which was easy to get there in no time. The Wandering Mermaid offers so much for everyone of all ages. Quiet safe neighborhood. Loved the decor theme! Would recommend and use again!

Beautiful Home

Location of the property is perfect for short walks to the downtown area. We rented golf carts and found that to be the perfect way to explore the island. The home is very well maintained with everything needed for a great vacation. The bikes and beach equipment was an added convenience. The home itself is well maintained and tastefully decorated.

Wonderful Family Vacation

The house was amazing! There was plenty of room for our family of 10! The beach wagon was the absolute best! It was large enough for everything including a cooler and pulling it on the sand was so easy! The shops and restaurants were an easy walk! We drove to Savannah for trolley tours and the drive itself was beautiful! There is a very quit beach without the crashing waves a bit further from the house. There you can have your little ones without the worry of rip tides. There are a varity of bikes all sizes, which was great for family rides! We contacted the owners for the pool temp, the water was very warm but the outside temp was extremely hot. They called and text right away. We would stay again! Thank You for the memories!

Lacrosse tournament

First Tybee Trip

Great house!

Great house! Greats hosts, loved Tybee Island. This was a multigenerational group for annual family get together, one of the best places we’ve stayed over the years. The games, bikes, beach accessories all made our stay extra fun and easy. Highly recommend!
