Half Past noon

Great property and beautiful view. Deck, beach area and dock had lots of good seating.Wood supplied for movable fire pit. Den was great to view TV. Bedrooms were comfortable. Spacious kitchen. Games, beach toys, paddle boat, kayaks, and kitchen spices were available. Quick response from contact for rental. Bathrooms could use updating. I would stay here again.

Just what we wanted

The house was the perfect size for 5-6 adults and 2 kids, and everything was clean and well kept. The large deck had a lovely view over the water, and plenty of shade from large trees. Our daughter had a wonderful time feeding the fish off the dock, and we caught some beautiful sunfish right there as well - this was a great fishing lake for us (not going for trophies - fishing with worms and corn on simple hooks kept us well entertained with bluegill, pumpkinseed, perch and bass). We brought our 19 foot fishing boat and had to use a little ingenuity to figure out how to tie it up to the dock (there were no cleats), but we found a way without much trouble. There are a fair number of stairs to get from the house down to the water, so those with mobility problems might have some difficulty, but I'd say a healthy person up to their 70s or 80s would be fine. We're hoping to return next year!

Great lakefront home for families (except those with bad knees!)

If you're looking for the opportunity to unplug and enjoy the active outdoors while still enjoying air conditioning, hot water, and a comfy home, book this place now. We loved the gorgeous views of the sunset, kayaks, a pier with up to 100 visible panfish at any given moment (who happen to LOVE hot dogs, by the way), a pond where momma duck and her babies swam, a chipmunk who loves nuts, butterflies playing by the sandy private beach, and plenty of birds. Blue Spring Lake is an active lake with lots of speedboats which was a bit of a disappointment for us, but could be a plus for those who like it. The only big minus for me was the fairly steep hill that separated the home from the lakeshore. There are stairs, but not all have a handrail and some are pretty uneven, so for those who have bad knees like me this made the ability to enjoy the lakeshore limited because I had to minimize the trips back and forth. The home itself was adorable. Everything was set up nicely for our arrival - even the toilet paper was folded cutely! The beds were decent, the hot water was hot, the AC worked really well, and the house is all on one level which is nice. Even with the hill we are seriously contemplating going again next year, so that tells you something!!

Family get-together at the lake.

We had a hot, but lovely week at the lake. The house provided plenty of room for our three families and ages 75-10. The waterfront kayaks, canoe, and paddle boat were used and appreciated. The fishing was great as were the views and sunsets. Our disappointment was that it was very weedy and swimming was not comfortable.

Perfect lake stay

The house is in a great location. Near to restaurants in Palmyra and easy access to many trailheads in the Kettle Moraine. Beautiful lakefront property, quiet neighborhood. Plenty of space for the family to be together.

Great Place on a Pretty Lake

Spectacular sunsets and pristine glass-like lake surface many mornings. Canoes; paddle boats & kayaks & life preservers to fit every size. Well equipped kitchen. Large living & dining rooms. Nice up & down walks on the road around the lake. Received many compliments for booking such a nice place.
