Wild Ginger Villa – Ocean Views Unlimited!

Through a gated entry and down a short staircase gently descending through lush tropical plantings is Wild Ginger, a romantic and private 4 bedroom, 4 bath, fully air-conditioned villa. From the pool deck and outdoor patio, one look at the sweeping ocean views, and numerous surrounding islands, will thrill you. Each bedroom suite comes with ocean views and its own private bathroom. The open living room, kitchen, and outdoor dining offer plenty of space to relax and enjoy your Caribbean vacation!

The master bedroom/bath beckons romance with its teak four-poster king bed and ensuite bath. A step from the bed is a screened door that opens to the veranda with seating and to those amazing ocean views and cooling tropical trade winds.

A separate pavilion, the Pool Pavilion suite, on the opposite side of the pool and sun deck, houses Wild Ginger's second air-conditioned bedroom/bath, furnished with a queen bed and cable TV.

Below the main balcony, accessed by an outdoor staircase, is the third and fourth bedrooms, which offer the utmost privacy. The sun-filled rooms are adorned with original art and offer a queen bed, ensuite bathroom with a large vanity and walk-in shower, A/C, and a balcony with a view towards the sea.

Wild Ginger is a private residence with no other guests on the property. The pool is private and available only to those who book the property. There is a BBQ grill available. It is located 15 minutes from the airport. The nearest beach, Magen's Bay, is less than a 5-minute drive.

My wife and I were in dire need of a relaxing vacation. had planned on it just being the 2 of us but invited friends at the last minute. it was fantastic. plenty of privacy from the neighbors-could barely see any other house and saw none of them from our pool. Also, plenty of privacy in the house as each bedroom is its own separate room and each had a private bath. felt very safe when home. Stocked food from their recommended provision service and it was delivered and put away before our arrival. Great, relaxing vacation. would stay here again!

Beautiful property
The view from this property is AMAZING. It was perfect for our family vacation with our grown sons -- the common area was very comfortable and then we each had our own bedroom and bathroom. Some days we went to the beach, but a couple of days we stayed at the house and lounged on the beach chairs & swam in the plunge pool. The property manager was a pleasure to work with. Hope to visit again...it was hard to leave!

Great place to stay! Very clean, nicely decorated, private with great views. I loved how it was almost like 4 separate apartments. It's a little out of the way, so you definitely need to have a car. I'd stay here again!

Magnificent View!
We stayed in February and enjoyed our stay very much. The view doesn't get any better than this!! It was so peaceful to sit and soak in the view. The kitchen was well equipped. Our only complaint was the musty smell. It was worse in the lower bedrooms, especially the one furthest from the stairway. That room also did not have a television, but all the others did. In spite of this, we all had a wonderful time!

Absolutely perfect!
This property exceeded our location in regards to location, space, the view, and amenities. We were two families traveling with 4 kids. The separation of each master bedroom was great for privacy. (let's face it, each of the 4 bedrooms felt like a master suit- full bathroom, privacy, and each had a great view). The outdoor seating and dining area is where we spent most of our time. There was plenty of seating and the furniture was really comfortable. The views were amazing! The driveway was easy to access and on flat ground, which we appreciated since some driveways appeared to be extremely steep. The location was away from the noisy red hook area, and just 10 minutes away from the beautiful Megan's Beach. It's centrally located, so any place on the island takes no more than 25 minutes to get to. The house had everything we needed to cook small meals and make breakfast. We also used the beach chairs, coolers, and floaties. Thank you for allowing us to pack light! The view is absolutely amazing!!! The host was very responsive and answered all of my many messages - Thank You! We stay in VRBO rentals about 3 times a year, and like to see new places so we typically would never stay in the same place twice. However, this is the exception, we'd stay in this exact house again if we came back to St. Thomas!

It was wonderful! Better than I imagined. The views are gorgeous More so than any picture!! The home was perfect! We were a group of 8. Family and friends were able to enjoy the open space outside on the deck as well as the living, dining room and kitchen comfortably. Bedrooms were quiet and comfortable! Ashley and John were helpful and quick to answer any questions we had! We were even able to stay an extra hour with only 24 hr notice!! We just didn't want to leave. They provided everything you would need. Kitchen was well stocked all we needed was food! Beach towels, beach chairs, floats and cooler were also available. Pool was great after a day at the beach to just sit back and relax for the evening! Would and will definitely recommend to all my friends. !!!

Perfect for 4 couples.
We landed at this home after a week of sailing. We had clothes to wash and provisions to put away. The kitchen is huge. Handled our mess. The laundry facility was quickly humming. The washing machine upstairs did not want to work. Jonathan immediately offered a quick possible solution, and also allowed us to use the owner’s private machines in the lower level. All 4 couples were happy with their rooms and privacy. Each quite different from each other. Spectacular views from all. The furniture was comfortable. Beach chairs and towels and etc were there for our trips. Parking for two rental cars. Safe neighborhood. Fun walks in the mornings. Great trip!

Paradise!
As beautiful as the online photos are, they do not capture the overall beauty of the entire property and its remarkable views. So nice to have a view of a private island (Hans Lollik) directly from the balcony of Wild Ginger. Also, the communication from the property managers is top-notch. They are thoughtful and informative. This was our first time visiting, but certainly not our last. We highly recommend this property!

Decent But Would Not Stay Here Again
Cons- Property was as pictured with the exception of the pool being much smaller than pictured! I was told the pool was heated to 80 degrees however the water was freezing and dirty with bugs and me and my husband was very disappointed that we never got a chance to use the pool. When I contacted the host about my complaint I was told “yeah everything work do I don’t know what to tell you”! The sofa had several stains on it , one which appeared to be blood but I’m not sure(it could have been a old food stain) . The Villa is close enough to other villas that you can hear your neighbors loud and clear inside your Villa and the neighbors can actually see you in the “private pool”! I have stayed at several different villas in st Thomas (Petersborg, Nazareth being the best) and Wild Ginger is by far my least favorite Villa and I would definitely not rent this property again. Wait! The Pro. I asked to PAY for a late check out because our flight was delayed and was offered a check out of 10:30 am instead of 10:00am.

Amazing view and breezes!
Wild Ginger is not to be passed up! Every morning is a beautiful sunrise. There were a few evening thunderstorms during our stay and having a covered porch was great to enjoy them. Pool kept the little one busy in the evenings and allowed for a quick cool off for the rest of us. Jon and Ashley are very prompt to answer any questions. Our kids loved having their own separate rooms detached from the main house and from each other LOL. Even though the living area has A/C there was no need to use it during our 12 night stay except for one night. Open the windows and doors, turn on the fans and the breeze takes care of the rest!

The property itself is incredible. Everything was as advertised, great amenities (pool, beach chairs, towels, cooler) and by far the best view I’ve ever stayed at, incredible. Easy checking in, make sure you rent a car if you’re staying here. Very nice being so close to Megan’s Bay and the. 15-20min to Red Hook and so many other beaches. 10/10 would recommend.
