Large, 3100 sqft, 5 Bedroom, 4 Bath & 1 step access!

Breathtaking views all year long high in the Massanutten Resort. WiFi, Cable TV, NETFLIX, Ping Pong, Pool, Bumper Pool Table, Poker Table, Fireplace with Stone Hearth, Gas Grill, Books, Movies, Family Board Games, CD Players and much more.

Relax on the spacious back deck. Snuggle up with your favorite book. Host a game night in the family/entertainment room. Watch a movie together on one of the large smart TVs. Be sure and get up early to enjoy the beautiful sunrises from the back deck. And after a day of adventure wind down with a glass of wine and enjoy the view. There is so much to do to make this a vacation to remember.

The main level starts with three (3) bedrooms, two (2) full baths, living room, dining room & kitchen.

Downstairs there are two (2) bedrooms, two (2) full baths and large family room.

A deck on each level with views of the Massanutten mountain, the Shenandoah valley and the Blue Ridge Mountains!

Home Layout: Entry level - dining room with fireplace, well-stocked kitchen and living room with fantastic views! Comfy wrap-around couch, large flat-screen TV with Netflix, DVD player and WIFI.

Master bedroom #1 has mountain views and separate access to the back deck, king bed, flat screen cable TV, full bathroom with tub/shower.

Master bedroom #2 has views of the mountains and separate access to the back deck, queen bed, and a full bathroom with tub/shower.

Bedroom #3 has a double bed, cable TV with DVD player. This room shares a bathroom with Master bedroom #1.

Downstairs: Family/entertainment room with a queen futon, large flat-screen smart TV with NETLIX, blue-ray player, ping pong table, poker game table, bumper pool table. Access to lower level covered porch.

Bedroom #4 has views of the mountains, cable TV, a queen bed and full bathroom with tub/shower.

Bedroom #5 (Bunk Room) has two (2) pyramid bunk beds (twin over double) and a twin bunk bed, cable TV, stereo and a full bathroom with a tub/shower.

Separate billiards room located downstairs.

Perfect all around!

Perfect holiday getaway

We stayed with our 30 something kids and three grandchildren under the age of three. It was the perfect bedroom arrangement for everyone. The view was spectacular, and the property owners could not have been more gracious and helpful and responsive! Highly recommend!

The home was immaculate and met all our needs

The house certainly met all our needs. Sitting on the back you could see the ski slopes. They were making snow and several deer were grazing behind the house.

April's place was perfect! My friends and I are JMU alumni that wanted to return to the area for the weekend. The house had a fully stocked kitchen and plenty of beds for all of us. We enjoyed the porches and the views especially. We would definitely stay again!

Family Friends Trip

Three families with 6 adults and 7 kids stayed at the house for four nights. It was everything we needed and wanted. The bunk room is huge with a common space beside it for movie watching. The main level is spacious but not massive so it gives a comfortable cozy feeling. The view is unbeatable! The hosts were so friendly, quick to respond and helpful. The driveway is big enough to park cars side by side and they don’t bottom out like so many mountain side driveways. We would definitely come back if we ever wanted to explore Shenandoah Park or JMU again.

Making memories in Massanuttin

We did a family vacation at Kettle View Lodge. 7 adults and 4 children between 2 & 6. The home was lovely, the views were spectacular and our hosts were quick to respond with any question or needs. The resort in itself has a lot to offer but we had plenty to do at the house with the game room and decks. Highly recommend this property for anyone traveling to the atea

Fabulous mountain getaway…

This house was one of our all time favorites. The house was spotless and the views were breathtaking -situated at the top of the mountain with a panoramic view of the valley. The kitchen was fully stocked with absolutely everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and we really appreciated that sheets and towels were included. The location was ideal-tons of restaurants and activities nearby … in fact ski lift, mini golf, and swimming were in walking distant at the bottom of the hill. The pool table and ping pong table were a huge hit with our kids, and the gas fire pit was a favorite spot for my family to hang out. The host, April, was wonderful and very responsive to any questions. We loved every second of our stay in this beautiful home and will definitely be coming back!

Wonderful home with breath taking views

We had an incredible time at the kettle view lodge! The house was very comfortable and well equipped with everything you need for a great trip. There’s so much to do in the house you don’t even need to leave to have a great time! If you want more adventure the home is located within massanutten so there is easy access to activities. We enjoyed being able to hear the concerts from the deck in the evenings. Being on a resort you are not completely secluded, but this wasn’t an issue for us and we wanted the convenience of being close to activities and we had quiet neighbors. We loved our stay here and hope to return!

Our Weekend Getaway at Kettlelodge!

What an amazing weekend we had at this gorgeous cabin at Massanutten Resort!! The location of the home was perfect and the views from the top deck were breathtaking. The cleanliness of the home when we arrived was very noticeable and April was so easy to work with from the moment we booked the cabin. The activities in the cabin were enjoyed by all ages in our group and the space was more than enough for our small group of 6. We absolutely plan to come back with our extended family since it fits up to 14 people. Plenty of nearby activities and restaurants if you want to leave the cabin for a few hours but we enjoyed staying in most of the weekend and enjoying the ping pong table and billiards table. 10/10 would recommend for your next mountain vacation!! (My 2.5 year old thoroughly enjoyed himself!!)

Great family wedding weekend

Beautiful house fully equipped in a beautiful setting. April and Paul have thought of everything to make our stay wonderful. We spent a 3 day weekend getting married at the lodge with our kids families, and never left the lodge enjoying family time together, cooking, eating, playing games and relaxing on the decks looking out on the valley below. Throw in some evening dancing and enjoying the gas fire ring on the deck and you have magical evening. Thanks April and Payl!!

Amazing view

The view from the deck is beautiful. The deck has a gas fire and seating for 8+ people, perfect for watching the sunrise and relaxing in the evening. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty to dishes, cookware, baking pans and a crockpot. There were even extra coolers in the garage, which was nice when we hiked and took a picnic lunch. We would definitely love to come back again.

Comfortable, Well Equipped and Million Dollar View

Property is great for all age groups, well equipped with great indoor and outdoor space. Outside patio on lower level and deck on upper level provides more than required space for a large group to enjoy the stunning view of the valley. Property was clean. All beds, couches and furniture were comfortable. I was always well informed about check in and check out instructions.

This lovely home lives up to the pictures in every way!

My husband and I are in our 80's and we were joined by family from across the country, ranging from 60 to 12 years old. There was something there for everyone. The younger folks had their own area to play games, billiards, and ping pong downstairs. Since we don't do stairs well, we had everything we needed on the first floor and were very comfortable. The hosts were exceptional with how they provided little extras. They even had coffee pods for us on the first day. I feel bad that I didn't get enough to leave replacements - even my replacements were all used up before I realized it. The fact that they had both types of coffee pots, an ice cream freezer, plenty of dishes and cooking supplies made it easy to enjoy time "at home" with the gathered family having meals. We really enjoyed the fireplace on the deck in the evening when it wasn't raining, and it was wonderful there were so many seating areas outside that someone could get get away from the crowd if they needed to. I can't say enough good things about both the house and the hosts, they were responsive and so pleasant. The views are fantastic and we left with many pictures, to include the precious deer wandering everywhere. We would highly recommend this rental for any family with various ages - or anyone else. It was spectacular.

Spend a cozy evening relaxing by the stone fireplace, or gather with your family for a fun game night in our entertainment room. We also have a separate billiards room where you can challenge your loved ones to a friendly game of pool. And for those quiet nights in, snuggle up and watch a movie together on one of the large smart TVs.
