Beautiful rental walking distance from snow summit.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The decor is very charming and new with beautiful art of big bear. The game tables kept the teens entertained (wished they had better quality que sticks). the rooms were clean. All in all everything was great at this home.

Good place for a large group!

There were plenty of rooms for all of us, good open area upstairs where we all could hang out. Most of the house was clean but the floors were still covered in dirt. It is a bummer that the one door to the backyard is through a room. Also a bummer that there is no fire pit allowed anymore. The listing should be updated to reflect the new ordinance.

Better then expected

The property was amazing. The cabin was even better then the pictures in the add. And the location was perfect. The hot tub did take a minute to figure out. The controls are not well labeled but it was really nice. The only downside was no AC and not having enough fans in rooms. But with the windows open it cooled down nice in the evenings.

Warm and welcoming site for a celebration

We had a great time here for a friend's bachelor party! The beds were plentiful and comfortable, and everything was functional. The hosts were responsive and the location was excellent! We spent a lot of time in the main living room upstairs and for 10 people it felt like plenty of space to relax and move between conversations. This living room was a big selling point for me in having a well-equipped central space to spend time, play games, and hang out, and it delivered. We also used the hot tub which was really nice after a long hike. Would definitely stay here again! Only issue would be to make sure you bring a basic set of knives; the kitchen had a lot of equipment but the knife selection was a bit random and it made it hard to cut things like meat effectively.

Family 2023

Convenient location. Had all the appliances needed to cook, including multiple coffee pots, crock pots, baking dishes, utensils etc. not enough towels, we had 9 adults and 5 children. I think there were only towels for the adults. Cozy and plenty of space for a big family. Although we had several little ones so we had to go buy some baby gates to put up since the kitchen and game room were on the top of the stairs. Could have been a little cleaner. A few spider webs hanging. Overall it was a great stay for our first big family trip. We will stay with Vrbo again

Great Mountain Getaway

We stayed at the chalet for a quick weekend getaway with a group of 10 girls. The house was clean and comfortable, with plenty of space and beds for everyone. The upper living area is a perfect hang-out spot. All the bedrooms are on the lower level and were very cold upon arrival. The space heaters in each room were helpful and once those got going, the house stayed warm. The only inconvenience was that the hot tub was not working and completely drained. We would have appreciated a heads up from the management company in advance as we were looking forward to utilizing the hot tub and it had obviously been in disrepair for some time. Aside from the hot tub issue, we would definitely book this house again!

Wedding celebration

We were a party of 12 family members. My family was so amazed at how big this house was and how cozy and beautiful it was. We had a blast having all the family together in one place.. we will for sure plan to come back.

Spacious and FUN

We had our family reunion there and this house was perfect. Huge great room-kitchen, family room, dining all connected. So we didn’t have to break up the group. Everyone could either watch a movie, play pool, air hockey, cook a meal, play a board game at the dining room table -all in the same vicinity. We were all together but not on top of each other. Very nice place! Clean sheets and towels. Very nice technicians!!! Thank you!!!!

Family Friendly BUT...

It was a great space for a family gathering. We had 13 people; 7 of them kids. The air hockey was a hit. There are a few things to be aware of before reserving this (pricey) property. Not deal breakers but good to know. There is no AC, which was fine down below but got pretty hot in the living area. There is no toiletries, which all other VRBOs we have stayed in provided. You will need your own laundry detergent, paper towels, plastic wrap/foil and storage (Ziploc) bags. If you want to use the Keurig, bring pods. Be careful with the spa. They tried to charge us for it being "milky" and it was already that way upon arrival. Notify agency of any problems right away because they might be looking for a way to hold on to deposit money. One more thing...check-in on VRBO says 3:00 and the rental agency wasn't ready for us until 4:00.

Fantastic place

Does not look much from the outside but the inside accommodations were great. I think the number of towels were too little for our guest. I also had difficulty changing the temperature on the hot tub. Some instructions for the hot tub would be helpful.

Quick Getaway

The house is nice, great layout. We didn't have any problems the only thing that we noticed was that the beds didn't seem well done, like someone had already been in them, which we're hoping the bed sheets were washed before we arrived. Other than that the home was beautifully decorated. Keep in mind the kitchen is on the 2nd floor.
