Nice and cozy. The property is quite small but well laid out. Direct access to the lake and being able to use the kayaks was a treat! Although it does sleep 8, this includes 2 sofas. Beds in the 3 rooms would sleep up to 6.
The place is gorgeous a bit tighter than expected but we’re a big family so that’s on us. But the lake was comforting in a time when we were looking for something to help us relax. I was very happy with how communicative the landlord was. House has a ton of towels and all the appliances you could need. Saw a few deer in the mornings. Would absolutely stay again in the future. If you’re on the fence, don’t be afraid, it’s a great place to allow yourself some peace.
The property was well kept and clean. The games available were a hit with the teens and kept then entertained for hours. We loved the camera that you left to allow guests to take 2 pictures - one to keep and one to leave behind. Such a cute idea. We also loved the personal welcome sign with our name on it. It made us feel at home and welcomed. Little personal touches mean so much. The owner responded quickly to any questions. The kitchen was stocked sufficiently to allow us to cook a moderate amount. The house is cozy in size but perfectly accommodates the number of people advertised. The dock is a nice hang out place - just a little small walk to get to but not an issue. The available kayaks were an added bonus that we did use. I would recommend this property to others and certainly would be happy to return.
We came in later on a Friday evening to attend a high school sailing regatta. We were out before the sun was fully up in the morning and returned Saturday night as it was setting. As a result of our schedule, we did not get to have fun on the lake, but trust it would have been great! The space is cute with nice upgrades. It is small, no doubt, but had everything we needed. The owners had some cute touches for guests throughout and I appreciated their refrigerator policy allowing appropriate items to be left for future guests to enjoy.
We just spent one night here on a quick trip in from Chicago. We wanted something nicer than a hotel. It was raining when we got there, but they have some games that we played that saved the night. We had a great time and lots of laughs. The living room was a comfy place to hang out for the evening, and we were able to enjoy the beautiful scenery the next morning in the sunshine. I met the gentleman the next morning as he was doing some yard work, and he couldn't have been more pleasant. I would stay here again, and I wish him and his wife all the best.
I enjoyed my stay. Everything was nice, but the property had some construction going on. It would have been nice to know in advance, or before booking. I lost water for about 4 hours. Once I notified the owner, he did offer to turn back on so I could take a shower, but really wanted them to finish the job to avoid needing to talk to the owners throughout the day. It could just be me, but I wanted a secluded, no interaction stay. I was just talking with the constructive crew and the owner more frequently than I wanted to. Again the owners were accommodating, and the place has a lot of cozy charm, I just wish I knew about the construction so I could have picked another place to stay.

Its a shared building.
It was a cute addition to spend the night in. However, some additional repairs are needed inside and the out doors was not what was portraited on the website, on our visit. You will be sharing the property with what seemed 2 other sections. Any more people there and parking/traffic would have been and issue.
But there was a gentleman there that was polite. However,
not my first choice in the future.
Our short stay was very enjoyable, the accommodations and atmosphere were great. We would definitely stay again. Thank you for your hospitality, Amy and Curtis.
Very clean and well-equipped. Very good access to the lake for swimming. Kayaks a big bonus. But for those who demand privacy, be aware property is attached to the owner's house.
Our small family had a great relaxing time enjoying the lake. We have had a lot of non-Covid medical issues and was great to get away and relax. Cute, clean and very well stocked for anything you might need. Look forward to visiting again. Thank y’all for all the help you provided!!!!
Swimming and fishing from the dock was awesome. Easy walk to the water. Well stocked house. Close to everything like shopping and dining. Cozy house, my daughter lived the bunk beds. Would definitely stay there again!
We loved our stay at Huskey House! The friendly hosts have thought of everything in this totally updated property: cloud-like couches, plenty of extra towels and linens (thumbs up for the comfy Ugg blankets!), stocked kitchen--the works. Loves that we could use the kayaks too.
Perfect for what we needed. We spent the days out on our boat enjoying the lake. We were able to park both boats on the sides of their dock and have a place to rest our heads at night. The space is small, but very cute, clean, and well maintained. Would stay here again.
Lovely rustic property on a beautiful cove on Lake Lanier. House was clean and well-maintained, owner was friendly and helpful. All in all, the perfect location for our family getaway.
Excellent experience at the house for our family weekend getaway. Enjoyed the top level of the dock both nights. It was just right for what we needed. Would stay here again.
Friendly, responsive owners. Clean with great access to the lake, but it still has some accessibility challenges. Several steps into the property and a long steep walk to the lake means you should definitely alert the owners if you’ll need help getting to the lake which is down a steep slope. Would still highly recommend.
