Cozy Mountain Get Away

This cabin was absolutely awesome! Very clean and spacious- it had everything we needed and more- Very comfortable bed - the only thing missing was my own pillow ) We loved the little spa room/ jacuzzi next to master bedroom! Of course the Hot tub outside was nice too ! It was a great little get away for me and my hubby - first time without the kids! ! Its just close enough to go into town if you want ! Jennifer is a great host and checked on our stay ! We hope to return to this same place! Thanks Jennifer !!

Rustic cabin getaway

Quite private cabin in the mountains close to Gatlinburg. This place was perfect for our small family getaway. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fresh mountain air.

Family Vacay

The property was great! The house was perfect for our family of 5. Our 3 teens loved the upstairs room and hot tub! Everything was very clean and just as expected! The pool was key for the kids also-a few steps away!! Definitely would come back here again! Jessica was great and checked in with us a few times. We loved it!!

Amazing family vacation

The cabin was great! Great location. You are away from the cities but yet close enough to drive there. The first night we saw a mama bear and her 3 cubs. The cabin was clean and big enough for 2 adults and 2 children. Views from the front porch were amazing! Kids had a blast and are asking when we can go back! Thank you for letting us stay in your cabin!

Bear Sightings 😍 and Proximity to Pool

My husband, children and I all had a wonderful stay! Highly recommend. Kids (and even my husband lol) loved the arcade games and hot tub. The cabin has to be the closest one to the pool - literally steps away and super convenient. We saw a mama bear and her 3 cubs crossing the road on our way out of the resort the first day - just around the corner from the cabin. Another very cool experience for the family. Cabin was clean and stocked w basic needs. Jessica was responsive within 20-30 minutes for any questions and checked in on us a couple days into the stay. Would def stay here again.

Excellent Host

The host is easy to get ahold of and truly cares about their guests experience. As listed, this is up a mountain, beprepared for steep inclines and narrow roads. Don't let that deter you from the experience as there was abundant wildlife and a beautiful view from the hot tub. We got to see a mama bear and her cubs right outside the cabin on several occasions. It's totally worthy experience.

Huckleberry Bears

Stayed for a week with our three teenage boys. The boys enjoyed the arcade games, pool and hot tub. We even had a few visits with a mama bear and her two cubs, which is common in that area and it was cute to watch the babies. Nice cabin and a nice stay. Thank you!

Great family vacation!

We really enjoyed our stay at Huckleberry Haven! There was plenty of room for my husband and I and our two teen boys to all hang out together, as well as to have our own space as needed. The views were gorgeous from the decks and living room, and we very much enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of hiking. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and dishes for cooking. We brought our own roll of paper towels, but Jessica did provide a roll, as well as dishwasher detergent, hand soap, and a few pods for the clothes washer. Lots of hot water for showers! We didn't have a need to contact Jessica during our stay, but there was perfect communication prior to the stay regarding the check-in process, etc. Please note that the road to the cabin can be a bit narrow in spots, and the driveway is fairly steep. We had no issues at all in a Mazda CX-9, but I imagine that some vehicles may have problems in inclement weather. We had a great time and most certainly recommend this cabin to anyone looking to stay close to Gatlinburg!

Exactly what you hope for

I have booked cabins in rural areas in the past that have turned out much worse than their listing. This was the opposite - clean, well-decorated, comfortable, quiet, and perfect for our family of 4. Highly recommend.

Cabin in the woods

As listed and expected. Previous reviews outline the property well. You will NOT have cell service ... bring the door code with you or youll have a fun drive down to go get it! Clean enough for our family ... its a cabin.

Weekend Getaway

Our stay was just wonderful! Jessica was super responsive to every question we had regarding the rental. The cabin was super clean, everything we needed as far as linens, towels, kitchen supplies, etc was fully stocked. We loved the beautiful porch with the rocking chairs, the spacious living room with the fireplace (we used it the entire weekend!), the shower was great (we didn’t use the extra bedroom and bath), and noticed there was even very nice laundry facilities if we stay longer next time! Will definitely return to this cabin and have already recommended friends to stay here!
