Tucked into the trees with spectacular views, oh so cozy spaces, luxurious accommodations, and a plethora of both onsite and nearby amenities, the Hideaway is your perfect Pocono escape. Newly remodeled and designed to entertain, the Hideaway hits all the high notes. Enjoy Penn Estates lakes, pools, tennis beach volleyball & more. Central to the regions skiing, waterparks, nature trails, shopping and dining experiences, you're sure to make lasting memories for all. Welcome to the Hideaway.

The Space:
This home was built to entertain and host friends and families of all ages. With 4 bedrooms and a full bath on each floor, everyone can find their space. Whether its sitting in the hot tub, next to the fire pit, at the game table, on the patio, or in the easy chair next to the fire, you'll love where you park it here! For cooking a full kitchen with Kuerig as well as a bbq grill outside are at your disposal. Kayaks/cornhole karaoke, firewood & games all provided, Cleaned and sanitized with the strictest observance of Covid cleaning protocols you can rest easy at the Hideaway.

Guest Access:
Guests can access all areas of the home except for the garage.

The Neighborhood:
Located in the desirable and gated Penn Estates Community, guests have access to 3 lakes, swimming beach, swimming pools, basketball, volleyball, tennis and more. Penn Estates is central to all the best of the Poconos. The home is located within half an hour to 4 ski resorts, 3 water parks, Outlet Mall shopping, Mt. Airy Casino, and a host of other outdoor activities and restaurants.

Getting Around:
A car is required to access the Hideaway along with accessing the community and area amenities. The lake is 2 miles away or 5 minutes driving or 30 minutes walking.

Interaction with Guests:
Self Check-in and out are provided via electronic keypad. However, either myself or my assistant Lee will be available to help with anything onsite should you need us during your stay. Please do let us know if there is anything amiss or anything we can do to make your stay more enjoyable. We are happy to help.

Spectacular Stay at the Hideaway!
I had a really wonderful stay at the Hyland Hideaway! Devin was a really amazing host and was really responsive to any questions I had prior to, and even during, my stay. My friends and I loved our visit and made some really wonderful memories here! The area was quiet and peaceful, the hideaway was spacious and accommodated our large group, and we really loved our time near the fireplace or in the amazing jacuzzi amidst the trees outdoors. I can’t wait to book again!

Away for a Long Weekend
Set back from the road for more privacy, this home is located on a nice, wooded lot in a gated community in the Poconos. Passes for guests to access the community amenities are included with this rental. Nicely decorated and spacious on all levels. Well equipped kitchen. The house has great outside space, a large deck, fire pit, swing, hammock and hot tub. Unfortunately, we spent only a small amount of time outside because it rained most of the weekend, but we did enjoy the screened in porch and den space. The host was very responsive and easy to communicate with and the check-in process was simple and easy.

Great mini vacation!
We came for a peaceful getaway in the woods. This was exactly what we were looking for. Tons of neighborhood amenities (lake, pool, hikes, hammock and outdoor spaces). The space was exactly as pictured. Devin was very responsive. We had a great time thank you!

Great family weekend!
Hyland Hideaway was the perfect place for our family vacation! We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit, the hot tub, the lake, and the beds were comfortable and clean. There were also plenty of pots and pans to cook for the 10 of us. Our whole family loved the house and will likely book again with this owner next year. Devin was very courteous and responsive, and has decorated the house very nicely. Looking forward to returning next year!

Lovely stay in the Poconos
We had a lovely weekend in this house. It’s a beautiful home that accommodates a good number of people. It was also a quick drive to Camelback which was super convenient for our snow activity trips! The host is very quick to respond and very nice.

Very comfortable home
Devin is a great, thoughtful host who was readily available to address any questions or needs. The house is very comfortable with lots of amenities such as jacuzzi, grill, fire pit. We especially enjoyed a number of thoughtful touches left by Devin during our New Year's Eve stay: Christmas tree, festively set up table with goodies, karaoke machine.

Hit all the right buttons
7 of us spent 3 nights here to celebrate a friend's 50th birthday. the house was exactly as described. the host (devin) was really easy to communicate with and responded very quickly to any question we had. it's a gated community so check-in requires registering (all from your car) and getting a pass to come in and out upon arrival. really easy and the rest of checking in was a breeze. the house itself is a great size. we utilized the deck/bbq and the fire pit every day. we saw plenty of deer. the wifi signal was strong and even reached the fire pit out back. our cell phone signal was also very strong (t-mobile and verizon). it is only a 7-10 min drive into east stroudsburg where all the shopping is - stores, groceries, liquor, restaurants, bars, fast food, etc. you really can just buy everything up there instead of having to haul everything. heating and air conditioning also worked really well. the beds were comfortable. on the main floor there is a single bed room with 1 bed and a main bathroom with a shower and huge soaking tub. upstairs there's another bathroom with shower and two bedrooms (one with a 1 bed and another with 2 sets of bunk beds). downstairs is the game room with another full bathroom and a bunk bed. so you could sleep 8 people in their own individual beds. kitchen had a lot of utensils. the pantry had some items but you may have to buy/bring things like spices, etc. all 7 of us were super comfortable and never felt cramped. definitely recommended.

Amazing place - Beyond expectation
It was amazing experience to live at this property. We really appreciate Devin for hosting us. When we reached the property, we sensed the level of preparation been done. Each corner of the house was neat and clean. to give us vintage experience. it was well arranged. we stayed here for 2 nights and we were never bored as there were lot of board games Karaoke system and hot tub. the place was looking more attractive than our expectation. Thanks Devin. you'll surely see us back here :)

Amazing home with great layout for two families and plenty of space to hang. Great room with fireplace was the spot to hang! The views are incredible and having the hot tub was the icing on the cake. House was clean and fully stocked with towels and clean!!! Great gated community perfect for year round rental. Close to a lot of activities Owner was super responsive came and salted the driveway after some snowy weather. Awesome fire pit in the backyard we LOVED about stay would highly recommend and love to come back. 15 minutes from camelback

Snow Tubing Family Fun
This home is perfect for a family get away. We had 13 people with senior citizens, teenagers and four year olds. Every one was comfortable with the sleeping arrangements. The main level is open and perfect for entertaining a large family. The large, long kitchen table was used for family game night. The owner is easy to with and even provided a scavenger hunt that the grand children and adults enjoyed. Its located in an established gated community but set back in the woods. We had deer wander the property each day. The hot tub was clean and private, located in the back of the property. I dropped one star from the rating as the refrigerated was missing shelves and the oven was only partially working. The house is well kept and clean so I assume the owner will be replacing these appliances soon. We would consider returning in the summer.
