Welcome to our condo! This little gem is situated on the outskirts of Courtenay BC on Vancouver Island.
Come and enjoy the amazing ocean views from the seaside balcony and fall asleep while listening to the waves outside your bedroom window!

This cozy space is located on the second floor of the building and can accommodate 4 people. It is perfect for individuals, couples and small children. It has one bedroom with a comfy queen bed and a sofa bed in the living room. Extra bedding is provided.
It has a fully stocked kitchen and includes extras like coffee, tea, spices, oil etc for your convenience.
Anything else you may need, we’ll do our best to accommodate!

So many amazing things to enjoy, in and around the area... beach fires(wood can be provided) paddle boarding and kayaking right off the beach, visiting the local wineries, beaches and trails and a quick drive(38 minutes from the condo to the top of the mountain) up to Mt Washington.
You will have access to Netflix, Prime and Disney+ for your entertainment. The condo is also equipped with its own wireless wifi router, (as the community wifi in the complex is quite weak) to ensure excellent connection for all your electronic needs.

Guests will be provided with entry code for self check in on the day of their arrival.

Beach Getaway

What a beautiful little spot. We only came over from Powell River but was a treat to see the sunrise over home. And the cruise ships appear so close. Plus the whales. We’ll be back.

Amazing sea side escape

Our stay at Sea Haven was absolutely incredible. Took my mom to celebrate her 80th birthday and she was so happy to just sit and watch the water. We saw seals, sea lions, otters and even whales in the distance. Just a beautiful, relaxing spot that I would recommend to anyone looking for some peace and quiet. The unit was super clean, and equipped with everything you could need while away from home. The snacks were a nice surprise as well.Thank you for sharing your space with us Amber! of the the different birds.

An amazing find!!

This is our second time staying here. The views of the Salish Sea are amazing. Morning coffees on the balcony watching the sunrises could not get any better. It is quiet and secluded here but just a short drive to Courtney and Comox. The extra little amenities left by the host are greatly appreciated. We will come again.

End of Summer Getaway

Cozy/clean and quiet stay right on Bates beach. Close proximity to local farm stands and great fishing. Loved falling asleep each night to the sound of crashing waves. We will be back!

A great place to stay, as always!

This was my second time staying here, I enjoyed it so much the first time I had to come back again! I just needed to get away for the weekend and sit and relax listening to the waves, it's a perfect getaway. The location is great, it's close enough to town and a country market that getting food is nice and quick. There's parks and hiking nearby, the beach is right there, couldn't ask for more. It's clean, comfortable, a great property. Will definitely try to come back again 👍

Gorgeous view

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sea Haven. We were literally steps away from the ocean and could hear the waves lapping up on the shore from our bedroom window and balcony. It is about a 15 min drive to Courtenay or Comox but we enjoyed eating at different restaurants every night and hiking nearby. The location provided peace & quiet which we appreciated. Amber is a wonderful host. Lots of little thoughtful touches.

Perfect!!

We love coming to Amber's VRBO - such a peaceful and quiet spot; we watch the tide come in and out, we love the sound of the surf. And we're close to all we need - great trails, beaches, restaurants in Courtenay, ice cream in Cumberland. This was our second time and I suspect it will fast become an annual treat (if at all possible). Thank you so much Amber!!

Comox Valley stay

The condo was simply wonderful - so nice to have the ocean right outside the balcony door. Enjoyed everything about the area: the beaches, mountains and just relaxing listening to the waves rolling into the shore! Truly an amazing relaxing time!

Perfect location on the water

This a beautiful little condo with amazing views of the ocean, surrounding islands and mainland. We saw seals and whales and each night around midnight cruise ships would pass by on the way to Alaska. On a clear night the stars were amazing. We made a trip to Elk’s River Falls and Miracle Beach Park. Amber has thought of everything, including welcome snacks and bathrobes. We really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend. Only drawback was slow wifi.

Great little condo on the sea

Beautiful one-bedroom with balcony overlooking the beach. We saw much wildlife including seals, a whale, a black bear (walking down the road in the middle of the night) eagles and loon. Immaculately clean, comfy bed and thoughtful little snacks for guests. Loved it!

Peaceful and Comfortable Stay

We loved this condo. Being right on the water was such a wonderful treat everyday. We left the windows open all the time. The condo was quiet despite other people staying in the complex. Loved the community vibe of people staying there. It was great having the binoculars. We appreciated having things like beach bag, beach towels etc because we flew and couldn’t bring everything. It was a good location to get to places we wanted to go.

What an incredible spot! Yoga on the balcony followed by a dip in the ocean every morning, and the perfect location to explore rhe area. Its immaculately clean, the bed and bedding are incredible. Great living room and kitchen with tons of space. Owner was super friendly and very responsive. Will 100% be back!

Sea Haven at Bates Beach

Our stay at Sea Haven was amazing. The condo was beautiful, welcoming and tastefully decorated. It had everything we needed and more. From the welcome treats, to the comfy robes, this condo was fully stocked and made us feel right at home. Best of all was the ocean view and the sounds of the waves lapping the shore throughout the day and the night. We would highly recommend this rental and hope to have an opportunity to be guests at Sea Haven again.
