Nice quiet spot. Very clean and cozy. Just be aware that there is a fridge but no freezer. There is a bbq to cook on and a microwave.

Black Pearl Lower Suite
We stayed two weekend nights in August. The suite is as featured, a single space with a very small kitchen area at one end (small frig, sink area, some dishes, Kuerig coffee maker and microwave). The lower level has a limited neighborhood view from the porch (BBQ) that faces the end of the road. Expensive, but quiet, and nice bed and couch. Good WiFi and great location, easily walkable to the Wild Pacific Trail. The expense seems more about the summer high demand than the lodging itself

The apartment was clean and modern, especially the bathroom, which I always appreciate! :) The owner came to see us a few times and he was super friendly. He loaned us a couple of items we were missing and gave us a lot of tips about things to do in the area. It was the nicest place we stayed during our 2-week trip to the island.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Black Pearl. Great communication with the owner! He answered our questions quickly and was very personable! The shower is huge with a beautiful rain shower head and was so nice to wash off after our hike! Bed was comfy - all together a great experience. Location while not on the beach, is very close! Thank you for a great stay

Overall lovely place
Great location, close to the beach. Our only concern was some miscommunication about the listing in that we were under the impression there would be some amenities that were not actually provided. Both the Property Manager and owner responded very quickly and we were very satisfied with this stay.

A great base for exploring.
The Black Pearl is a beautiful little studio, perfect for a couple to use exploring Ucluelet, Pacific Rim and Tofino. It’s well appointed, clean, roomy and in a nice quiet location (although you can hear the ocean, the channel buoy and the fog horn if you leave the window open). Connor is quick to respond to any questions or concerns you might have. We really enjoyed it and will not hesitate to stay there again!

Clean, Easy and great location
Our stay at the Black Pearl was great! The studio was extremely clean and had everything we needed. The added touches of including a park pass, beach blankets and coffee pods and tea. The location was ideal for us and we enjoyed our stay in Ucluelet and would love to return. Chris and Connor were easy to communicate with and provided helpful information. All in all it was an easy and enjoyable experience.

Can’t fault the property or location. Peaceful area and walkable to Ukee and nearby beauty spots. BBQ on terrace was nice touch. Very clean and modern interior with excellent walk in shower. I would book again.

Lovely place in Ucluelet
We spent three days exploring the area. Black Pearl is well situated to be both quiet and close to shops and restaurants. It was super clean, the bathroom was excellent with great water pressure and the bed very comfortable. Ucluelet is a great place to visit and we can definitely recommend it.

This was a studio suite which was well laid out with lots of conveniences. Great location for walking to some of the local trails and nice set of information on local things to do. A bonus that we did not take advantage of was the use of a park permit.

This was a great headquarters for our week of Ucluelet/Tofino adventures. The landlord lives on the property and was a great source of information about hikes and activities that only the locals know about.

We loved The Black Pearl. Quiet and convenient location. Very clean. My husband loved the shower…it got his “best shower” award for our trip to Vancouver Island. We are a fan of Zoe’s Bakery…excellent breakfast choices.
