Nice location. Parking can be a bit challenging. Great/fast communication and able to provide remote assistance. With our circumstances for the visit it was great to have a stress free experience with the room.
We were in town for a funeral so we needed a central location. The unit fit the bill nicely and was well done with a well thought out layout. The one point to focus on is there is no private parking and during a snow emergency you are looking at a parking garage a half mile away.
New Haven has pitifully few hotel rooms convenient to Yale's campus, so we decided to try VRBO. With the pandemic, it was great to be able to have family meals "at home." The kitchen is incredibly well stocked for a rental. We especially appreciated the bottle of wine on the table when we arrived after driving from NC.
There is a bit of highway noise at night, and some slightly nousy neighbors, but nothing you don't expect in a city.
Check-in was easy, and parking was convenient (though had it been a weekday, I'm not quite sure where we would have parked).
Place was very clean and nicely decorated.
We recently concluded a wonderful nine night stay at this spacious modern brownstone apartment. The apartment had all the comforts of home and conveniently located near downtown New Haven, in the historic Wooster Square District. Dariel, the owner has decorated and furnished the apartment with all the necessities for a nice stay. He was also courteous, informative and accessible if needed. This is an excellent alternative to a hotel or motel without a doubt. My wife and I will definitely be back and highly recommend renting this home away from home property.
Upon entry into the unit we were pleased due to how cozy the apartment was. We felt like we were home away from home due to the decor. We noticed the unit was extremely cold, we tried to change the temperature, however it was capped at 69 degrees. We made due and just wore hoodies around the unit.
Thank you to the host, besides the cold temperature we enjoyed our stay.
