BEAUTIFUL BEACHFRONT CONDO, LARGE BALCONY, TASTEFULLY RENOVATED SLEEPS 8

Remodeled to a very high standard, SeaGate unit 306 is a fresh and relaxing condo to sit back, put your feet up and have a memory making vacation! There are 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a full kitchen. There is also a storage unit on the ground floor for beach equipment. With this unit, you can take in the views from of the Gulf of Mexico from bedroom as well as the living room joint large balcony.
The master bedroom boasts an ensuite shower and king bed. The second bedroom has two queen beds and is ensuite also. This room has access to a bathroom with a tub/shower combo shared via the hall way with the third bedroom. The third bedroom has two twin beds.. All bedrooms have a smart TV, so you can retire to your room and relax after a long day on the beach.
The kitchen is fully stocked with pots & pans etc. Everything you will need to cook or get take out and sit in the condo to watch the world, or the beach go by.
The balcony has two sets of high top adarandac chairs with a table and a bench to sit out and enjoy the view while sipping on a vacation cocktail!
There is also a bar area to mix your drinks and keep the beers cold.
You have access to a shared garage space downstairs to keep the beach chairs/umbrellas provided as well as anything else you might have brought with you.
There is a grill space outside with both propane and charcoal grills.
The pool is heated year round, so you will have a great time splashing about in it, or wandering down to the beach and dipping your toes in the Gulf of Mexico.

Disappointed

Arrived to find construction work on the building. Was never told this during booking or with check in information. Couldn’t access balcony as it was locked from outside for the first day. Hammer drills into concrete all day every day as they were replacing every section of railing that wrapped around the concrete building. Had to walk under scaffolding with a tarp to access the beach. No access to ground floor patio or grills. Contacted host Alex Jones who apologized. I noticed every other listing for seagate was discounted and had construction warnings on listings. Seagate 306 still did not have any info on their listing. Asked for a solution. A different host, Liz Barrett, then replied with the generous offer to leave the property for total refund of next 3 days and 200 off the first day. Finding last minute accommodations for a family of seven during spring break would have been difficult. Liz replied with offer of 200 off for all 4 days. I asked for 250 and an extra day free with promise not to leave a review. Liz refused this and stated this offer felt like extortion. It was about this time I decided that I wasn’t interested in haggling nor communicating with the hosts any further. Decided to focus on vacation and tried for some relaxation. We made due despite the incessant noise reaching to the beach starting at 8am. Live and learn I guess. Recommend confirming state of property before you rent. Salt Rock Grill was excellent.

Great condo

Property is as advertised in the pictures and listing. The unit was clean and well maintained. The overall property is well maintained with nice amenities (pool and outdoor grill areas). Overall a great setup to enjoy time at the beach. I would stay there again for sure.

Spring Break Trip

We love staying at SeaGate. However, this is not a unit that we would return to. The positives: *The amenities at SeaGate are fantastic *The proximity to the beach is great *The proximity to local restaurants and shopping is great. *Unit had a great kitchen. *Unit provides a wagon and chairs for our use. *The closets in all of the rooms were roomy and nice. The negatives: *There was a leak in the ceiling above the dining table. The owner did inform us of this on check-in day, but it was still frustrating to not have use of the whole table because of the bucket set up for collecting the water. *The master shower did not work. The mechanism for turning the shower head on was broken and literally fell into our hands. We had to all share the other shower, which was not convenient. *Cleanliness was an issue. The floors under the beds were not clean and the one working shower had hair in it. *The third bedroom, which had two twin beds, was so small the occupants could not maneuver in the room. We had to move kitchen chairs into the room to serve as bedside tables (none were there) and that further cramped the space. Again, we have stayed in SeaGate units many times and love it. Will continue to rent there, but not this unit.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful property. The views from the condo were spectacular. The property was elegantly furnished, the location was ideal with easy drive to both Tampa & St. Petersburg downtowns. Despite the rain on one day of our stay, we thoroughly enjoyed our time.

Loved the property and beach. Condo wasn’t cleaned good (I’ll spare you the specific details) and the guest shower had hardly any water pressure. Property was very well kept and pool was clean.

Spacious comfortable condo, directly beach front, great view of the sunsets right from your balcony. Exceptionaly clean, and well stocked. Clean and heated pool. Many fine, and casual restaurants in the area. A short drive to John's pass. We look forward to a return visit.

Beautiful Condo

Our group of 5 ladies found the condo to be perfect for a relaxing weekend get away. The condo was nicely decorated and all the beds were very comfortable. Having access to the shed was wonderful because we did not have to bring chairs or an umbrella, it was all provided. The properly was nicely maintained and had a nice grilling area with palapa covered outdoor eating areas. We were able to walk to the best local restaurant for fresh fish, The Salt Rock Grill. We will definitely book again!

Beautiful place right on the beach

This is a great spot for our family vacation. Plenty of room, well kept, and right on the beach. The beach wagon and chairs in the garage below were a big help.

The property good but the floors were not cleaned. When we arrive we spilled some water on the floor putting things in the refrigerator and when we whipped it up a lot of dirt came with the paper towel.

Seagate 306 stay Aug 2022

Just returned from a girls trip with my family. Ages from 80 to 20 and we all loved this condo. It was nice and clean. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. View is awesome. Beds are comfortable. I am jealous of the closets - better than in my home! Bathrooms are nice. Not one complaint. A great amenity is the garage that has beach stuff you can use. There are come great beach chairs available and even a beach wagon to lug them all down to the beach. The location is also great. I have been to Clearwater several times, but never ventured down to Indian Shores. I am not sold on Indian Shores. This is much less crowded and just a super beach and area. I would recommend this condo and owner to anyone. They were great with communication and answering any questions we had. I hope to come back with my immediate family again.
