Call for Snowbird Specials! Toes in the Water Miramar Beach Condo with Pool

"Toes in the Water" is the perfect holiday retreat home. Our first floor condo on Scenic Gulf Drive in Miramar Beach, across from the community pool! Enjoy close and convenient access to the beach (a 2 minute walk), fabulous restaurants., and the renown Silver Sands Outlet Mall. This is a great property in the winter for people wanting to rent for 30 days or more, check with us about our Snowbird Special!

The main living area is an open floorplan concept that houses the kitchen, living/TV area and dining area. The kitchen features spacious granite counters, ample lighting, and all the cookware and flatware you may need to create delicious family meals. Enjoy them together at our 6 seat dining table or at the kitchen bar which seats 4. We have a high chair and a Pak n Play for the kids. Retire to the couch to watch the big game on our large Smart TV or gather on the back porch to play some games.

Our master bedroom is an oasis of peace featuring a comfortable king size bed with lots of closet space and an en-suite bathroom. The first guest bedroom has a queen bed and lots of closet space. The second guest bedroom features a twin over full bunk with a twin trundle and generous closet space.

All bedrooms have TV's! We have a full-size washer and dryer right for your convenience.

Parking: There is only one parking space available with this property. There is additional paid parking available at the nearby Geronimo RV park.

Starter Pack: We provide our guests with a couple days worth of Gilchrist & Soames hand and body soaps, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, toilet paper, trash can liners, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher pods, dish sponge, coffee packs and laundry detergent pods. Guests are responsible for supplying their own amenities once our initial amenity package is depleted.

Cancellation Policy: Bookings canceled at least 60 days before the start of stay will receive 100% refund. Bookings canceled at least 30 days before the start of stay will receive a 50% a refund. For your protection, we encourage you to procure Traveler’s Insurance. Guests are required to electronically sign the rental agreement within TWO days of booking, otherwise the reservation is subject to cancellation.

Family vacation
The condo was larger than expected and decorated like the pictures. Very close to the beach and the water was so beautiful. Property manager Jodi was awesome to work with! She emailed me several times the week of the trip to make sure I had all of the needed information before arrival. She called the day after to make sure I had everything we needed and if the condo was as expected!

Our stay here was mostly positive. We did not like the fact that your only allowed one parking spot. I didn’t not see that or missed it in the original listing, I only read it in the email sent after we had booked. So we had to go pay for extra parking away from our condo for the other vehicle with us. The only other issue we had was the people above us were constantly running and stomping from about 5:30am all through the day till about 1am. It was very loud and shaking the chandelier over our kitchen table.

The condo was as advertised. Very neat and clean. Beautifully decorated. Property manager was outstanding handling any issues that arose. The security staff at the condo complex was very unprofessional. You were only allowed to have one vehicle parked on site. They were very unaccommodating regarding a member of our party that was licensed to park in a handicapped parking spot. We would have to retrieve the second vehicle off site and the security staff was constantly harassing us if we parked in the handicapped spot to drop off other members staying with us, load and unload the car, etc. The parking was the only black mark on the trip.

The only thing that I was not a big fan of was the air-conditioner in kids room. It is loud at night but kids didn't care. It also has some beach chairs that we were able to use. Access to beach was very convenient. So far, one of the best places I stayed in Destin.

Wonderful Place to Stay for a Work Trip

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was so pleasantly surprised with this rental. We rented this condo for a work trip and the other girls I traveled with felt the same. As soon as I walked in the door, I could tell how nice the place was by the smell. It smells new like it has had recent updating/remodeling. It was completely spotless and so nicely decorated. Lots of extra throw blankets, pillows, and samples of soaps and shampoo/conditioner. There was severe weather moving through the night we checked in and I was a little disappointed that we weren’t able to check in early without paying a $50 fee to check in only 2 hours earlier. The renters requested that we take the patio furniture inside so it didn’t get damaged so we requested again to check in early but that the fee be waived as we were asked to move their furniture inside. The company did agree to this so that was appreciated. Other than that, everything is in good working order. It is in a very nice, clean, gated complex with a nice pool area. I felt safe here and it was a VERY short walk to the beach over a boardwalk, maybe 2 minutes! Overall very pleased and this is probably the nicest condo I have ever rented. Would definitely stay again and hope to book it for our Fall 2024 vacation.

Great stay for a couple of families
We stayed for 7 nights with 4 adults and 4 children and had plenty of space. Pros: Bunk bed room was perfect for the kids, master bath was very roomy, nicely decorated, easy walk to the beach, right across from pool/hot tub, great security, charging ports everywhere, nice dining table and open living area Cons: pool was cold, there was only 1 parking space which required us to park the other vehicle at the rv park for $30/day, we were told there were not beach chairs/umbrella/toys but there were, toilet room in master smelled of urine and they were prompt in sending someone out to clean again and it appeared clean but when the smell of cleaner wore off the smell returned

The property was nice. Easy access to the beach. There was some confusion getting checked in and the parking pass wasn’t in the unit but we were given one the next day. Over all it is a nice unit.

We had a great stay at this condo! There were 6 adults and we had plenty of room. The condo was exactly as listed, clean with tasteful decor. It’s on the ground floor which makes for easy access and the beach was a short 2 min walk away. So glad we stayed here— absolutely loved it.

Amazing!
We absolutely scored with this property. The location of the beach was absolutely perfect! We loved that we could cook and clean up for and after ourselves. The games they had and amount of stuff for the kids to take to the beach was perfect. This place was literally home away from home. We didn't want to leave! ❤️ Only suggestions would be, a food cover for the microwave, additional dish towels and the dish washer needs tightened. It was looose and kept flinging itself forward and a dust pan. Easy fixes and nothing we couldn't work around! Literally, a wonderful place!

Such a lovely place and perfect distance from the beach and everything in Miramar!
This was a perfect place for us! We had 2 toddlers and 2 adults and it was more than enough space for us. It was really close to the community pool and just a 5 minute walk to the beach. We could not have asked for a better location! The washer and dryer was great to have, along with the coffee pot and Keirug. The back patio isn’t anything fancy, but we had planned to spend most of our time in the pool or beach anyways. We were super thankful for the beach chairs and umbrella as well! It’s nicely decorated and was so clean. I highly recommend this place for your next vacation!

Everything was going smoothly until the bed in the guest from broke. It was the bunkbed we had to adjust where everybody is slept. However, someone came, evaluated what was needed the next day. By the following day, someone came out and fixed, and we were able to use the room. Overall we had a great stay.

1 hour after check in wife encounter a roach! Left and come back 1 hour later to about 5 roaches scattering. Thank God for Beyond Blue vacation to get us another condo the following day. VRBO was not helpful in this process so he had to stay that first night with roaches.

The rooms were nice
The over all stay was pleasant. If you travel with more than one car this might not be the place for you as you will have to park your second car off property. (This can get expensive quick) check in and out were a breeze. The only negative thing were the Roaches that you would see when you turn on the lights at night when you would go to raid the fridge in the middle of the night.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We just returned home from our vacation! “Toes in the Water” was a BEAUTIFULLY decorated and very comfortable condo. The location and 2 min walk to the beach was great! Only 2 complaints... We had “heavy steppers” in the unit above us that were loud late into the night and started again early in the morning for 2 nights, but we managed to deal with it. We did notice some baby cockroaches in the kitchen, but the management company had it sprayed right away for us. Regardless of those 2 issues, I would definitely stay in Alerio 102A again!

Pool area is nice, but the fire rings around the hot tub didn't work which was a bummer. They worked last time we were at this facility and are a bonus at night while enjoying the hot tub. The sprinkler area also didn't work which was a bummer because there were 8 kids in our group who wanted to use it. The facility is overall very nice, but needs some upkeep and fixing of things. Our condo in particular was great! Lots of room, right across from the pool area which was very handy and pretty much everything you need for in the kitchen. A very pleasant stay. Was our second time staying at The Alerio and would stay again!

Close and comfortable
Although our arrival to the Condo was not the best experience the rest of the stay was amazing. We only have a few recommendations to improve our next stay . Liquid hand soaps in the bathroom, more wash clothes, extra trash bags for extended stays . We are otherwise very satisfied with our stay and would recommend to any family going on a vacation.

The condo was exactly as it was described. Seriously 1 minute walk to the great beach. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you need. Beach chairs and some toys on the back porch. **only downfall was the heavy walkers above us but did not deter from a great stay! Thanks.

Spring Break
Condo was beautifully maintained and very clean, the owner has done an excellent job with the renovation. Everything inside the condo was exactly as described! This was our third time staying at Alerio, and as a whole we felt like the property itself had declined over the last few years. The hot tub quit working two days into our stay and never was fixed, the heater on the pool was also not working our entire stay which was a disappointment bc going to this area on spring break you take the chance of not having super warm weather so a heated pool for this time of year is always a priority for us with little kids. Unfortunately the pool was colder than the ocean all week. Splash pad also wasn’t working our entire stay. Staff was only on the property of an evening and the grounds just didn’t seem as well kept as they had been in past years we had visited. Also in the past there has been overflow parking available for a second vehicle. They no longer have that available. Our condo slept more people than one vehicle can accommodate, so that ended up being a struggle as well, finding a location off site to park our second car.

A Nice Place to Relax

We really enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub as well as the fact that the beach access is directly across the street from the complex. If you enjoy walking this is a great fit, walk down the paved walkway along the Gulf, walk on the beach or walk on trails and many local parks. You are close to Restaurants, Silver Sands Outlet Mall, and many other attractions – i.e. Gulf Breeze Zoo, 30A, Grand Boulevard, weekend Farmers Markets on 30A.Obviously we really enjoyed our stay
