Charming cottage in Virginia's wine country on 178 acres, great for weekend getaways, hunters, hiking and exploring!
The Owl's Nest Cottage boasts 3 bedrooms, 1 1/2 bathrooms on 2 levels with a living room on each floor, fireplace, and a gracious sun room with views of the Event Barn and Upper Meadow.
There's a bit of history to the property as well as legend has it that Patrick Swayze's (of "Dirty Dancing" fame) Grandmother used to own this property and he spent quite a bit of time on the property and even stayed right here in the Owl's Nest!
Imagine waking up with a cup of tea or coffee in the sunroom overlooking the Upper Meadow, maybe heading out for a hike just behind the cottage...or perhaps you'd prefer a more relaxing day touring many of the Virginia wineries nearby, in fact, Breaux Vineyards in just right next door!
And for the hunters and fishermen, this property boast a plentiful deer population, bear, squirrel, and has 2 ponds. Proof of proper license, and approval required on prior to hunting. Muzzleloaders, archery, and 12-gauge slugs only. Please feel free to contact us for additional information on hunting.
