The house was great for our extended family. The location made it easy to get on I-25 allowing us to get most everyplace quickly. The backyard gate to the park was a hit with the grandchildren.
This house, the owners and this location made for a very special fiesta balloon festival experience. We were able to walk 6 minutes and be at the festival. Crazy cool. No car or traffic to deal with. Everone told us how lucky we were to have this house and we agree Amazing Thanks to everyone for making this house available and so nice
This house was perfect for us for a week. It was in a great neighborhood, beautiful scenery, and easy access to everything in Albuquerque. The beds could have been a little more comfortable, but the house was clean and provided everything we needed. Only downfall is yard is all large gravel/rock. Would have been more people and pet friendly to be pea gravel or river rock, something easier to walk on. Overall, I would recommend this house and would stay here again if in Albuquerque.
Initially we had an issue with the AC unit. The property manager was not able to get it fixed immediately and moved us into a similar unit that met our needs, and in fact was an upgrade in location and comfort. We visit the area several times a year and find this option so much more pleasant than staying in hotels. We will use VRBO from now on in our travels!! This was the first time we traveled with our children and grandkids. Having the space of a home and yard was like being home...only better because we were close to extended family on this trip!
Nice size house for several people. Pet friendly- great back yard. Communication with owner was prompt. Easy check in. Good location- near freeway. There were a few small things that need attention- light fixture out side, lamp in bedroom. It was really hot during my stay (102 degrees) and the house never cooled below 85 degrees during the day. More floor fans are needed !!
House was very beat up, holes in walls, chipped paint, minimal kitchen ware, walls leaking into giant pool in kitchen, loose toilet which smelled very bad. Owner saw these situations but said TOUGH LUCK "per policy no refund" then ducked explaining logic of the policy. Owner has lots of properties and lots of opportunities to make them better and worth staying in. BEWARE
The property was just as described. I stayed with my pet and it was perfect for pets. The yard was very secure- I didn't have to worry about my small dog escaping under the fence. The house was in a very safe area and close to the freeway and restaurants. Clean, easy check in, well stocked and comfortable. Great stay.
Pros -
Mini golf and hot tub
Location
Layout was perfect for our family
Cons-
They advertise occupancy for 10 but have dishes for 3. There were 3 bowls and 1 coffee mug. There were no baking dishes. The only can opener didn’t work. We had a family of 5 and couldn’t even have a bowl of cereal together in the morning because there weren’t enough dishes. There were NO kitchen linens (dish towel or dish cloth). Only HALF a sponge. They had pots to cook on the stove top with, but that’s it. The main burner did not heat up. The back deck was DANGEROUS. I stepped through a rotted board and the entire deck is rotting and is missing key safety aspects. For the price of this rental, I did expect to be able to be safe on the deck and be able to cook and eat a meal with my family. I recommend the owners actually spend a few nights in their rental and they will quickly see what they are missing. We were able to make do, but for what we paid, I don’t think it’s unrealistic to expect bowls, dish towels, and deck that isn’t a safety hazard.
Had a very easy time finding the place and getting comfortable. Things looked great on the photos but the experience was so much better. Lots of great stories and experiences along with just sitting in a much needed hot tub. Can totally see why this place is popular and great for balloon Fiesta. Would definitely come back again and thanks for the hospitality!!
The property is in a great location. It's quiet and relaxing with a walking trail and park right outside of the back gate. It's close to a lot of places or a quick jump to the hwy. The house was relaxing, comfortable, and big enough for all of us. The hot tub is a bonus! I definitely recommend.
Great location! For the price you pay, the house lacked some basic amenities. I wouldn’t recommend going on the balcony on the backyard as the wood was dry rotted and it didn’t seem structurally sound. Hot tub worked great but had an odor to it (possibly the filter wasn’t working). Overall, we enjoyed our time there and would stay again!

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness
House with lots of potential, but lacks a good housekeeper and decor
By the way, I tried calling the manager listed on the day of check-in. There was a few things wrong at the house.
The house wasn't very clean, items and dust left behind under the bed. Food crumbs in various places of the house. There was a foul smell coming from the sink, smelled like fish. I bought cleaning supplies for try to get rid of the smell. Fridge wasn't clean either.
Front of House BR-One of the room bed is broken, the frame is cracked on the center. I took photos with time and date. So we couldn't sleep on the bed, had to share the third bedroom.
The house was full of mosquitoes and flies.
I have traveled and stayed in many vacation rental. This home lacks a bit of TLC with the furniture and decor, it felt outdated.
The location and yard were good. It's a perfect size for a larger group. There's a children's park in the back but no code to get back into the property unless you hold the door open.
We were in town for a baseball tournament and the house was perfect for us. Hot tub and putting green was nice and fun for all. The little park behind the property was also a nice surprise!
It was good except the Hot tub did not work. The air conditioning was swamp cooling which due to the humidity was not very efficient. We did like the location and the ease of getting to the house from the freeway. Would have been better had the hot tub worked!
