Located in the heart of Playa del Carmen's tourist zone, and a 5 min $5 taxi ride to all the major grocery stores,(10 min walk) there isn't a better location anywhere in the Riviera Maya. To top it all off, this Condo complex features deluxe finishes, including travertine marble floors, top of the line central air conditioning, kitchen appliances, washer and dryer, granite countertops, comfortable furnishings, and a beautiful wide balcony with gorgeous views. Premium guest services include every other day light cleaning/trash removal. Full service linen towel change mid week with a 10 night stay. Beach towels provided. Paper towels, soaps and detergent provide upon arrival. We can also help with airport transfers and information including stocking groceries prior to arrival and more.

• HOW DO WE GET THERE FROM CANCUN AIRPORT? Playa is a 45-minute drive south of the airport. We provide a private van service for approx. $185 round trip, max 8 people, child seats available. Other options: taxi, rental car, ADO bus.
• WHERE IS THE PROPERTY? The property is located in the heart of Playa’s main tourist district. One block from Fifth avenue. Fifth avenue is a world famous, 70+block pedestrian promenade with relaxed cafes and gourmet restaurants, exclusive lounges, and al fresco bars, ice cream, intriguing boutiques and local purveyors of all types and variety.
• IS THE PROPERTY TRULY BEACHFRONT? Yes, and all the condos that we represent are beach front and have stunning ocean views.
• DO WE NEED A CAR? Not necessarily- Playa is pedestrian friendly and close to everything. We typically walk or take a cab and rent a car on an as needed basis for regional excursions.
• WHERE DO WE GROCERY SHOP? We have several small markets within one block and several full-service grocery stores within a 5 min walk. We also offer a grocery delivery service for your convenience.
• HOW OFTEN DO WE GET MAID SERVICE? We offer mid stay house keeping . Upon arrival- fresh linens, bath and beach towels, soap, shampoo, paper towels, bottled purified water, laundry detergent for the washer/dryer is provided. For 8 nights or longer we offer a midstay linen and towel change.
• DO YOU HAVE TV and INTERNET SERVICE? We have cable/smart TV and high speed wireless internet.
• CAN YOU RECOMMEND ACTIVITIES AND RESTAURANTS? Yes. We are always updating our list of favorite activities and restaurants to recommend to our guests.
• DO YOU OFFER CONCIERGE SERVICES? We offer Personal Assistance for some travel ideas.

The state was nice. I believe the mattresses all need updated as they were all very hard and need some maintenance works on some of the fixtures and all bathrooms.

beautiful property but alot of non working amenities

the property looks just like the photos and is in a great location. but there were several problems with the unit during our family vacation. leaking toilet upon arrival which limited the whole family to one bathroom, fridge and freezer not working even after the replaced the refrigerator- our food spoiled, sliding door to the patio was not usable and not safe due to the glass coming out of the frame so the family would have to enter the patio through the master bedroom, dryer stopped working, slow draining sink in the kitchen. Maintenance was in our unit EVERY SINGLE DAY. I did reach out to our host to ask if we could check out two hours later she did reply w/ a yes but once I expressed my concerns she left me unread and heard nothing from her.

Great property with great location

The best part about this property is it's location. It's right on the beach and next to the most happening street of Playa Del Carmen. Every evening we would just walk around the neighbourhood. Lots of good restaurants and shops close by. Very clean and well equipped property. There were lots of beach towels which made life very easy. The only con was that bathrooms did not have a lock, so if you are using the bathroom you will have to sing ha ha. I would request the property manager to add the locks. Otherwise a great property.

Amazing vacation

Soul cleansing trip to Playa del Carmen for our family of 4 (which included 2 young adult sons). Perfect weather and location, and amazing people and food. Loved the outdoor space; we spent little time inside. Steps away from the hustle and bustle of restaurants and shops on 5th avenue but very private, low-key, safe complex. Walmart was just a few walkable blocks away to get groceries and the kitchen was well-equipped. Massages and drinks on the beach. Ate out for dinners in Playa at El Forgon, Los Aguachilis, and Italian at Roman. All delicious! Get there before 6pm if you don’t want to have to wait. You can make reservations for Roman, which is advised. Booked a private tour through Soy La Pesera with Monica, monirrivas@msn.com. Omar was our guide. He was fun, knowledgeable, and made it memorable. We customized tour #4 to include seeing the Tulum ruins by land. The tour included cliff jumping/swimming in a cenote, snorkeling with turtles and sting rays and through underground caves, paddle boarding to see manatees, and lunch. Another day we took the ferry to Cozumel and rented scooters to explore the island with stops at Rasta’s Reggae Beach Bar, Miami Bar, and Chen Rio beach. Get to Cozumel early if you plan on doing this. We took the 11am ferry over and ran out of time before we had to get the scooters back by 6:30pm. We arranged a private shuttle to and from the airport with our host through playaluxuryrentals.com. Take lots of cash/pesos as many places don’t take credit cards. One of our best vacations, and we travel often. Highly recommended!

Needs Upgrades

Parking: Tight squeeze to get into parking structure and had to have a spotter guide us because we had a large 12 seater van. Parking skills are a must here since there are pillars in between each parking space. -Location: HUGE eye sore next door since a condo is being built literally a few feet from our front door. It would have been a good idea to let your guests know ahead of time. Also, since you are close to 5th Ave be prepared for loud noise all night long. -Kitchen: Microwave turned on but didn’t heat up food (unusable), dishwasher cap for detergent wouldn’t stay shut so detergent spilled out (unusable), potato peeler was horrible. Don’t try and make large complicated meals in this kitchen and don’t have a lot of trash because you only get one trash bag. -Bathrooms: Master bath had a horrible sewage smell and guest bathroom was leaking (we reported on last day and towels were set on the floor to absorb water as a quick fix). Totally gross and rendered that bathroom unusable so we had one sewage smelling bathroom for 8 people. -Bedrooms: Guest bedrooms are really small and all beds (including master bedroom) in the condo are ROCK hard. -Living Room: Very uncomfortable furniture almost patio furniture like, not meant for comfort. Not enough space for 8 to enjoy living area. -Housekeeping: Has no set schedule for when they come. We scheduled a specific time and no one showed up until hours of scheduled time which defeated the purpose. Overall, would not stay again.

Would stay again!

This Condo was amazing and in a great area! It was so refreshing to be oceanside and having a wonderful place to stay while enjoying Mexico. The only down fall is the beach clubs next to it that play music all day and into the night. Hard to enjoy ocean sounds when there is a constant thumping. But it didn't keep us from relaxing and enjoying the views. They had plenty of water for drinking, and the condo was supplied with every utensil you could need for cooking/eating. We loved the rooftop terrace but will say we didn't get much use out of it. Walking distance to all the things you could need or want. Wear comfy shoes. Make sure you stop by El Fogón and order Pastor Taco. Much needed vacation with my best friends! This condo is not for partying (thankfully) so don't expect that. Find a beach club hotel if that's what you're looking for. Great family place ❤️

Fabulous week in the sun!

This was a perfect place for a spring break with our teens. The location could not have been better and we loved having the small patio and the rooftop for the late afternoon and evenings. The views were stunning. Best of all, was the gracious staff who make the condo feel more like a resort. We loved always having a beach lounger, umbrellas for shade and excellent food and beverage service brought from Inti next door. Susan made the entire experience seamless and easy. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

O apartamento no Luna encantada é realmente encantador! Decoração linda e agradável, muito bem equipado, arejado e com uma vista de tirar o fôlego de Playa del Carmen. A localização também é excelente, e mesmo estando tão próximo a quinta avenida (o que foi ótimo e pratico), o isolamento acústico garante uma estadia tranquila e sem todo o barulho da quinta avenida. Anfitrião extremamente solicita e educada. Agradecemos a experiência excelente que tivemos no apartamento.

Very big, nicely furnished condo on the beach!! Just steps from 5th ave. Great beds, plenty of towels and well stocked kitchen. Excellent wifi and tvs. Rooftop is the best! 360 degree views. Lots of privacy and less wind than the beach. Awesome owner!!

Pre-Christmas Get Away

The property was lovely. Beautiful landscaping, amazing pool and beautiful beach. The condo was nice, but needed a few updates. The washing machine is on its way and the dishwasher. Very nice refrigerator and supply utensils and cookware. The decks were amazing both lower and rooftop. A few of the lawn furniture items should have be removed old or broken, but more than adequate lawn furniture remaining and very nice quality. A little noisy but overall a very good place. Will miss it b

Wonderful place for our family

The decor, furnishings and layout was lovely. We all enjoyed our stay at Luna Encantada —with the infinity pool, beachfront access, beautifully clean and manicured grounds, walking to Cozumel ferry and the famous 5th Avenue shops and restaurants. The location is convenient to go on excursions and 45 minutes from the airport.

Is our third or fourth stay, loved it as always. The units are showing a *tiny* bit of wear and tear, but nothing serious – still super lovely, and all the staff is great. Special shout-out to Abadias, who works the beach and is a sweetheart.

Another nice stay at Luna Encantada

This was our second stay at Luna Encantada in Playa. We love the location - right on the beach and just steps from the main pedestrian thoroughfare. There are great shops, restaurants and bars all within a short walk as is the ferry to Cozumel. The complex is immaculately clean and the staff are very friendly. It also feels incredibly safe with gated entrances and well-lit common areas. Playa Del Carmen is a bit of a mess right now thanks to resurfacing of the streets and walkways so we were unable to access the parking garage at Luna Encantada. This made for some uncomfortable luggage toting between an offsite parking area and the condo. The good news is that they seem to be making steady progress on the construction and I'd estimate that they'll be nearly complete by Jan 1, 2021 if not before. If having a parking spot is important to you - as it was to us - I'd suggest checking the status of the garage before booking. Not having access to it wasn't a deal killer for us but it did definitely add more hassle to our trip. Unit B3 is perfectly situated in the complex and was very clean and comfortable. We only had two complaints about the unit. The air conditioner in the master suite was not working properly. While my wife enjoyed sleeping in a warm room at night, I was uncomfortable. We raised the issue to the local staff and contacted the property management about the problem. Both promised to address the issue but never followed through. Before booking I would highly recommend that you get confirmation that the a/c has been fixed. The only other very minor issue we had was that the safe was broken and inoperable. These issues aside, we had a nice trip and were very pleased with Luna Encantada.

Great for family in Playa del Carmen

Property is as advertised. The ocean is rocky immediately in front of property, but sandy on either side. Street is marked as pedestrian only, but just ignore this. Arrival instructions probably should have mentioned this issue. Bedrooms were great, kitchen well appointed. Wifi signal could be a little stronger. Staff in building (door man, cleaning, maintenance) were professional and pleasant.
