About this property

Beautiful log cabin in the woods. 2 bedrooms. Large loft with 5 beds, 3 singles and 2 doubles. Master bedroom has a queen bed and the 2nd bedroom has bunk beds. Living Room also has 2 Futons. All brand new knotty pine through out. Smart TV with Dish Network. Full kitchen, washer and dryer in basement, Brand new Heating and air conditioning system, a fire pit in back yard and all this is just a few miles from town. Curtis has boat, ORV and snowmobile rentals, restaurants, hardware, grocery stores and UP boutique stores. Cabin is surrounded by 180 acres of beautiful woods and trails. Close to the Manistique lakes for boating, fishing or ice fishing. Snowmobile and ORV trails are close to the cabin. Our Large circle drive hosts plenty of space for trucks, trailers and toys. A beautiful spot for a weekend get away just over an hour from the bridge. A true UP north get away. No Pet’s, No smoking!

Not cleaned upon arrival, after cleaning frig full of nasty old food, cabinets full of buggy old food. Not a comfortable chair in the house, site says water front property, closest water is five miles. Definitely not for older travelers. Was nicely secluded

Chilling in Boondocks

Pretty perfect for us! We loved the quiet of the woods and easily traveled to sights like Shipwreck museum and painted rocks. Nearby Curtis offered dining and we got to chatting with the locals which is a bonus. Thanks!

Explore the UP

Cabin was perfect for our family and friends (group of 6). Very secluded, quiet and centrally located in the UP to do all the excursions we had planned. Not more the an hour drive to Pictured Rocks, Tahquamenon Falls, Kitch-iti-kip, and Mackinac Island. Was a great vacation! Owners were quick to respond when there was a minor problem and were quick to resolve the issue.

The only issue we had was the oven door handle was broke. We repaired but some one may want to look at it.

Relaxing Vacation

We really enjoyed our vacation. The cabin is just as pictured and was extremely clean. We could not have found a more perfect spot, it is very secluded but still in area where you can make day trips to enjoy a lot of the UP. Planning on coming back!!!!

Great Location!

Nice cabin in the woods but still close to town. My schedule changed last minute and had to check in a day late. I notified the host just for courtesy and he refunded my missed day! Very accommodating, would definitely stay again!

Everything was great and better than expected. Make sure you go East off main Rd on private drive to cabin... only gliche was it was hard to find (but worth it!)

Cabin stay

Nice place. Needs a few safety measures. No rail on top bunk. Ladder to loft is shaky. Need hand rail for basement steps. It provided a quiet place to relax.

Nice cabin in the woods

Clean, comfortable cabin in the woods. Wifi was great as we had no cell signal. We streamed our Netflix shows on the big screen TV on the few rainy days. Kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans and utensils for making meals. The large bathroom was clean and hot showers were nice after a long day hiking or sightseeing. It was great to start every day sitting on the front porch drinking coffee while listening to all the happy song birds that we don’t get down state. Cabin is a short drive to town if you want to get gas, provisions, eat out, get ice cream or go to one of the nearby inland lakes to kayak or boat. Cabin is less than an hour to Seney National Wildlife Refuge or Manistique, and a little more than an hour to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore or Tahquamenon Falls State Park.

Amazing Fathers Day

We ended up having extra tag a longs but had plenty of room with extra sleeping beds not even used! We love our trips to Curtis over Fathers Day & look forward to our memories! Absolutely our best trip to date!! Thanks
