Main level has master, full bath, kitchen w/new appl inc. dishwasher & gas range, coffee bar, living room w/TV fireplace console, sleeper & workspace. Upstairs w/bedroom w queen pillowtop, & second bed/flexroom with 2 beds, half bath & TV. Basement-ping pong, PACMAN, & dartboard & shower. New deck backs to woods, creek & plenty of deer & wild life.

Super cozy and perfect for a couple, yet the second floor offers the opportunity for additional guests.
Upstairs features 2 rooms: One bedroom w/queen & another large flex/bedroom with dbl and twin beds, TV, and half bath. NOTE: Entrance to add'l bedroom w queen bed is thru this room!
Additionally, upon request we have a new Simmons 17" Rest Aire Queen Air Mattress.
Large Heated basement w/ping pong table, electric dart board, shower, , washer & 2 dryers for your use!

Entire house; there is an attached garage; however, it is scheduled for a rebuild this summer. Garage door disabled and structure not secure for vehicle storage; however, may accommodate snowmobiles but please message me first if interested.

Prefer to use front door for entry/exit.

Beautiful Place!

Our stay in Ironwood at this lovely house was wonderful. The house is decorated so nicely and there is everything you could possibly need at the house. The backyard is gorgeous! We had a campfire and enjoyed some toasted marshmallows:) The beds are super comfy and the linens are nice as well! You will not be disappointed staying here. We can't wait to come back!

Wonderful house!

We loved our stay here. The house was very clean and we loved the decor. The house is in a convenient location close to everything. Beds were very comfy. We would definitely stay here again!

Best Stay in UP

Another wonderful stay at this awesome UP property welcomed by the best host! We loved staying at Michelle’s house, and the family especially enjoyed the “game night” basement and comfy, cozy bunk-room upstairs. Despite no snow for skiing (so crazy this Christmas) we found lots of new things to do- skating at the public rink, hiking to icy waterfalls, and searching for yooperlites! Cooking was easy with the well-appointed kitchen and big dining room table! This is a perfect family getaway spot!

Fantastic Quick Trip

We were able to rent this fantastic house last min for a quick trip to rock hunt. Clean, updated and very well equipped. This property was the best outfitted space we've ever stayed in. They had everything! We traveled with our 2 doggos and they also enjoyed the stay. Great communication and easy access. Would recommend this place to anyone staying in the areas. Thanks for the great stay.

So well appointed. Very comfortable.

The home had everything we needed. Comfortable beds and a large supply of towels and pillows. Lots for the kids to do with tons of board games and stuff to do in the basement. Friendly and helpful neighbors (although very close proximity on both sides) and plenty of woods in the back for the kids to wonder around in. We will be back!!

Annual Visit to the UP(we grew up there

Totally relaxed either on the front swing or the back patio chairs. Short drives to downtown, gas stations, grocery store, ski hills. Very nice neighbors. Visited mount Zion and thee college. Dinner at the liberty bell for pizza Brought home 30 pasties,

Awesome Place!

A truly awesome place. My family loved staying there. All the details are thought of in this place, even extra toothbrushes in case you forgot yours. Kids and adults had fun playing ping pong on the full sized table in the basement. Enjoyed a campfire in the beautiful backyard. It was perfect for 2 adults, 2 teens and one 8 year old. All the kids were able to have their own bed. I would definitely stay there again!

UP retreat

My family and I came to the UP for a week in late June. I used to come up all the time to see family as a kid in the 80s and it was a treat to re-visit everything. The house is a nicely redone example of a "UP Cape Cod"; stylish, well-appointed, and the central AC and upstairs unit made it very comfortable. It's in a good location to run into town for food or necessities; and short drive to the lake and attractions. All in all, a great value for a great vacation.

This place is perfect! I would live there! Clean and beautifully decorated..

We had great communication with the Host. Easy check in and check out. Everything we needed was provided. We will definitely stay here again when we are back in town. Really good Brewery a few miles away and a wonderful little drive through coffee shop!

Great property great location.House is very clean with every appliance you need to cook. Even had dog treats and cookie homemade for us when we arrived . Owner is very easy to get ahold of if needed. Backyard has deer and turkeys. We have stayed with this property owner at this location several times and will be back again for the next visit to the upper peninsula .

So peaceful!

This was our second stay at this property, and just as the first time the property owner was so accommodating and answered the phone for any questions I had. This place is peaceful and offers so many amenities for your stay. The neighbors are friendly and knowledgeable of the area as well. We will definitely be coming back when in the area again.

Spring break ski trip

This property was located very close to the ski hills. It had everything we needed to relax after a day of skiing. Our kids loved the activities in the basement and we loved the upstairs space the kids could retreat to. We enjoyed watching the march of the turkeys and deer each morning in the backyard. We would definitely pick this property again!

I grew up in Ironwood MI and currently live in Cave Creek AZ with my family. We have family and friends in the area so we visit the UP frequently!

Why they chose this property

We love a good challenge! This house was a major eye-sore and neighbors wanted to tear it down and for good reason! however, it had 'good bones' and we loved the location in Ironwood township.

What makes this property unique

Home has a good solid Basement(rare for older homes in the area)
so we converted into another gathering space for fun times~ with pingpong, darts, etc... we are always reviewing and continue to improve

We love the wooded area behind the house ;there's also a creek behind the house along with turkey and deer trails. Neighbors keep the deer and turkeys happy with daily treats so they're always roaming the backyards!
