Sunrise views from the back deck over the mountain when waking was the best part of our trip. The wood throughout the cabin gave a very authentic cabin vibe. A perfect stay.
The cabin was perfect. It was exactly what we were looking for. It was clean and comfortable. Once we arrived, I could not believe I booked this cabin last minute and it had the perfect view!!!
Over all a great cabin with awesome views. Not so great that construction is all around on other cabins. The construction crews have trash laying all around and in the road.
Location is close to almost everything just plan on extra time due to traffic.
I have no complaints on the property! The description online is exactly what it is. Tjere isn't a picture of an outdoor hot tub, but there is one. Check in and out process was easy. Property manager was super nice, friendly and helpful. The only complaint (nothing to do with the property/company), there is a lot of construction of new homes which takes away from the peace and quiet (hammers, nail guns, and other tools early in the morning and throughout the day). It was more difficult to get to and from the property with equipment, construction materials, etc out on the road. Not as close to the action as we had thought but still only about a 15-20 minute drive to get to the main drag and attractions. Nice getaway!
This cabin is awesome. Everything was great barring one glaring problem. This was by far the worst week of sleep I've had in my life and I've slept on a mat on a concrete floor. The mattress in the upstairs of the cabin has to be from the Civil War. Or two HUGE bears have been sleeping on it for the last 20 years. There are two impressions on either side that have to be 3 inches deep. The mattress in the downstairs bedroom seemed fine. So make the kiddos sleep upstairs! The views were great, didn't realize how smoky the Smoky Mountains were before we stayed here. The rest of these are observations, but there is construction EVERYWHERE between check in and the cabin. And the construction crews have no regard for anyone else. There are literally pallets of construction material in the roadway to the cabin. Be prepared for them to start as soon as the sun is up and continue until it's dark. The pool table requires a refundable $50 cash deposit. We played on it one night, it's a nice table, but don't plan on playing any serious pool. The table has about 8 inches of roll towards the side from one end to another, surely could be leveled out easily. The pictures on their listing do not do this cabin justice. It is beautiful. There is one TV that is not from the 90s in the downstairs bedroom. There was sufficient utensils and cookware in the kitchen. Only thing we would have had different was a cookie sheet for reheating food we didn't want to nuke. $5 at Walmart? You're within 15-45 minutes of Sevierville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. But with the speed of the roads I wouldn't recommend planning on many stops back to the cabin. We would stay here again after confirmation that awful mattress has been replaced.
